    Soggy salad

Always enjoy thier food today I ordered grilled chicken salad the chicken was hot and my lettuce was soggy Doesnt make sense. Yuk

    How disgusting

this is exactly why I will no longer be dealing with this restaurant. If it's no burnt it's not made correctly. I tried time after time. Its no way someone thought this was acceptable for a paying customer.

Cheese Quesadilla with thin sliced steak

My girlfriend always orders breakfast from here. I just wanted a quesadilla and I usually like chicken, decided to try their steak quesadilla this time. I regretted my decision immediately, on my first bite I knew something was wrong. I spit it out to find out it was piece of a napkin all shriveled up. I proceeded to open up the quesadilla just to find the rest of the napkin. Truly disgusting to say the least. Never again.

Perfect everything here!!! Staff just caring and all around awesome. My husband and I have been coming here since our first date!!! The cooks take time and make sure the food is prepared quickly and most importantly correctly. Love the owner and his son!! They are a pillar to this community!!! Everyone here knows you by face and name and it's a family environment. Remind a me of a little bit of home. My favorite waitress Carmen!!! Love her!!!

a close up of a piece of food on a napkin

Absolutely DISGUSTED! I frequented this place often before today, but would NEVER eat here again. I found nail clippings, yes, actual human fingernails in my Pink Lemonade. I contacted the restaurant and was told by the Manager Mike that "things like this happen sometimes" ...NO, employees do not bite their nails and throw them in a cup that is then served to a customer. To add insult to injury I am 4 months pregnant. Will definitely be contacting the health department because this is NOT ok.

Diner food The prices were good The service was fast The food wasn't amazing but it was just what I expected I had a nice lunch in the outdoor seating area with my son, was kind of glad it was gated in though because its right next to a homeless shelter. I also tried to order pancakes to be delivered to my home for my kids one saturday morning (just off Warburton) and they ask me for my address 4 times i literally spelled it out for them and after ten minutes on the phone i was told they dont deliver Saturdays or Sundays.

    Happy Fathers Day

I'm usually the one who cooks breakfast at my house but after a great Father's Day night I needed a day off. We started to google and yelp for the best breakfast spot that weren't to far, when low and behold we told by a friend about this spot around the way. This family diner has a nyc style pace with friendly workers who are attentive with your needs from when you first walk in. I'm usually skeptic about diner food with flavoring and not portions but this place did well in both areas. We sat outside with the family and all had breaks fast entrees. I wanted to to end this reckless eating weekend with a bang so I got the blueberry waffles with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My ladies had the french toast, nutella pancakes with scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. Now you know the food was good when you think you won't be able to finish, but in the end your plates are clear. Check please ! Lol ... they'll definitely be seeing me and the family again.

I just left and was served my food with pure attitude. Nothing was made with love. The coffee was beyond sugary. We ordered a yogurt bowl and just toast + two DSNY coffees. First of all the yogurt didn't appear to have honey, so we politely asked for a drizzle on top and the lady who was preparing the food caught the craziest attitude... like it bothered her to do something so simple... after that I waited for my toast and she practically threw the box at me.. unbelievable. Also the "Just toast" is supposed to be butter + jam. There's barely any butter on my toast and I was given SMUCKERS packets. They just lost two local customers and I'll make sure everyone I know also doesn't return! :) don't work in service if you don't know how to provide good customer service AND IT WASNT EVEN BUSY!!

I ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich--both were delicious and especially comforting on a cold winter day. The café features fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the organic Katchkie Farm in Kinderhook, NY, and you can really taste the quality. We sat in the indoor dining area and enjoyed fantastic views of the Hudson River and the New Jersey Palisades while we ate. The setting alone makes the experience special. The service was also welcoming and friendly. Located within Wave Hill's 28-acre public garden and cultural center in Riverdale, the café is surrounded by impeccably landscaped gardens, historic houses, and sweeping panoramic views from its ridge overlooking the Hudson. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a meal, and take in the scenery. We've Hill gets its name from the way the land mimics rolling waves along the Hudson River. Definitely worth a visit!

Immaculately clean as well! Public bathrooms are in the basement behind the front desk.

A lot of people call in their orders to pick up but they also deliver food as well. I've had a few misses with my orders but for the most part they're pretty good at what they do. If you wait to order in person, you'll be waiting for a while so it is definitely better to call up your order ahead. I usually call when I'm pulling into the hospital because I know once I park and walk inside, my food should be ready. Make sure you check your order before you leave. One time I ordered a simple toasted English muffin with butter and jelly and I just took it without checking it; they must have had it sitting for a while before they spread the butter on it because the butter was completely cold and not melted. It was gross but luckily my department has a toaster oven in the break room so I just reheated it, but that first bite was disgusting. If you ever have a craving for something sweet, try the sweet cheese empanadas that have at the counter. They're only 4 bucks and they taste great! They're like cheesecake empanadas. I had to stop buying them because it was getting out of hand. They are a full service diner with eat-in amenities, tables and a breakfast counter. They offer everything you could want from a diner for breakfast, lunch and an early supper. They close pretty early so you're not going to get any late dinners here. You'd have to inquire about their weekend hours as I believe they are closed kn Sundays and may only be open a few hours on Saturdays.
