We toured their house prior to Grayson's stay and it's well kept, clean, with great big yards both front and back. Grayson came home more obedient, learned how to dress before going outside and "get naked" after going outside, load in and out of the car, ring a bell to let us know when to go potty, "touch," sit, down, and the biggest thing for us is he's more comfortable in the car and listening to music (he used to bark at music like crazy). He doesn't pull on his leash as much and walks are more comfortable and less stressful. Grayson even got socialized with other dogs and cats! He does not bark as much anymore, which has been great for my nervous system Grayson got a bath before he came home and came home with a wonderful goodie bag. They used primarily positive reinforcement training with Grayson with some other tools. It was very effective. Working with Shannon and Sierra, you can tell they really care about their furry clients and take a lot of pride in their work. We will definitely be using them for future boarding for our furbaby. On the day we picked him up, I messaged her to let her know when we would arrive to pick up Snapdragon, and the account responded with Diamond Oaks Ranch's contact information. A few days later, she contacted me asking, "how is the pup," requested pictures of him, and described him as "a very sweet pup." I am disappointed that rather than acknowledging our experience, the response has been to deny that we purchased our dog from them at all. I am posting the contemporaneous messages so prospective buyers can see the documentation and draw their own conclusions.

I've been taking our dogs to Camp Run a Mutt for years, but today I had a experience with their…read moremanager that just didn't feel right. I made a boarding reservation for my dog last month. At the time of making the reservation, I was told my dog needed a 30 minute temperament test because it had been at least 6 months since she had been with them. This was the first time I had ever heard of this requirement and I told them that my dog had just been with them in March. The person who made my reservation said then it should be fine. Fast forward to today, less than 24 hours before my flight I get a call at 2pm saying I needed to bring my dog in for a temperment test or else they would not take her? I explained my conversation I had with whoever made my reservatation, but she still insisted I needed to bring my dog in today. This was not realistic being that I was still at work and had no way to rush my dog there today. Now I am forced to coordinate with friends to watch my dog over the next 5 days. If someone had contacted me a week ago I would have gladly accommodated them, but this was just plain rude and inconsiderate to spring on me last minute. If Camp Run a Mutt wants to have this policy, then they need to be clear with their customers and review their schedule well in advance to avoid this from happening. This business definitely doesn't care about their customers, or they are very disorganized. Either way, I'm no longer recommending them.

Our 4 month old puppy, Atlas, had a rough start at life and I was so worried he would lose so much of his progress if we went away, but Mia stepped in and helped out so much with his training and care! He came back such a great walker with good habits and better manners with other pups and people. I met with Mia before deciding to do the board and train and she was so detailed and knowledgeable. It made me feel very comfortable with her and Atlas. We discussed in detail his current training, my goals, and concerns and worries I had, etc. She was very thorough and made sure to keep us updated on his progress while we were away. We randomly found Mia on IG to help with our resource guarding , anxious corgi. I did 3 sessions…read morewith mia at our house which were super beneficial especially helping me understand my dogs innate personality traits and how to work this the dog I had in front of me. We ended up going out of town for 10 days and I was unsure who I could trust with our corgi as she is still a work in progress. We decided to board and train her with Mia. While our corgi will always be a unique challenge , I am now much more confident in how to work with her. Mias approach to training truly takes into account the dogs personality and also family dynamic. I'm thankful we found her . She is also available to help post training. No board in train will ever "fix" your dog so as new issues arrive in so thankful to have Mia as a resource to help me problem solve!
