I asked for recommendations for treats that can last since my dog practically swallows everything, and she recommended duck necks. My dog instantly became interested. Update: Came back a second time for cherry shrimps and the guy working there was pretty rude. I…read moreasked if they had shrimp and he looked at me like I was inconveniencing him. He goes, yeah its right there. I asked for a female shrimp and he said theres no way to tell them apart. I searched up online and there is a way to tell. He's either not willing to check or doesn't know. Either way, I was turned off by the experience

Very disappointed, I called to ask if they had cichlids fish and they said yes a lot of different…read moreones, so we drove all the way from New Jersey only to waste our time . First of all the place smells like rotten water , aside from having a very limited variety of cichlids they don't look that great , there was this one specific tank that all the fish were swimming strangely and one other tank had a sign that said check filter ( maybe that explains in part why the place smelled bad ) because the tanks are not properly maintained. But why put a sign up ? Just service the filter so the fish can live in proper water conditions . And last but not least , all the questions we asked were answered with : but it's not guaranteed . Seriously I think I know more about African Cichlids than the person working there. We didn't buy any fish since I don't think the water conditions and fish health were good , and in all honesty I wouldn't recommend buying live anything from this place . It's just a big NO NO !!

DO NOT PURCHASE FISH HERE!…read more As an aquarium enthusiast, I went there to see if they had any different kinds of fish. Granted they have beautiful coral and saltwater plants, HOWEVER. I walked past tanks that had dead fish and dying fish and the live fish in the tanks were eating the dead fish. It was awful and I think that they should be called out for this. If they want to sell fish for the prices that they're charging, they better have clean tanks and at least have healthy fish. This place was disgusting..

Worst grooming place in the Flushing area. My dog's nail was cut so badly that it was bleeding, and…read moreshortly after the grooming, red rashes appeared on her belly. The staff handle animals roughly, causing stress and injuries that no pet should ever endure. The facility itself is very small, poorly maintained, and unhygienic--completely unsafe for pets. What's even worse is their customer service. The person responsible for client communication is not only rude and dismissive but shows zero compassion for animals. When I presented the vet invoice and photos of my dog's injuries, they refused to take any responsibility and were extremely unprofessional. I strongly advise anyone who loves their pets to stay far away from this place. There are plenty of groomers who treat animals with care and respect. This shop prioritizes convenience over the safety and well-being of the pets, and you could easily leave with your furry friend hurt.

This Petco is just like any Petco with your pet food and supplies for sale on every aisle. At first…read moreI thought you can adopt or buy a dog or cat in Petco but that's not the case. There are special events or days they host that you can adopt a cat or dog but it varies. Anyways this Petco only sells small birds, hamsters, rats, a small turtle, a chameleon, small fish, parakeets, and anything that is small. I saw chinchillas too for sale and they were just sleeping and very immobile. There were too many white rats too and a lot of goldfish in fresh water tanks for sale. Store is kind of boring and most of the pets are just very small. Wish there was a larger variety of pets to buy. This place has a great variety of pet food organized in every aisle. Lots of dog chains by style and model for sale and some toys but not much of a variety. Very little cashiers here in this location. It's a big store but not much customers when I got there. Pretty empty and boring when I got there.

OK. So I read some of the reviews just now and I'm very surprised…read more I am in this particular location at least once a week. I'm a rescuer so I buy alot of food and litter, etc. There is always someone at the register and even when there is a line it moves pretty fast. Each associate in the store is always helpful when I have a question. The only issue I have is Purina only supplies Petco with certain 'flavors' in the Fancy Feast line. But I've started buying a bit better food for my babies anyway. I have only good experiences here. I have not used the groomer so can't speak on that issue. But the Mgr., etc. are all very helpful. And I joined the Premium club so I get great discounts which with rescuers is really important. Have a good day everyone! Meow!

I made the reservation via phone and got an appointment on Friday the same week. The prices were $75, but it's $65 for first time visits. You need to bring proof of vaccination as well. The staff here are friendly and take time to walk through and explain the process. My dog was scared walking in at first, but after the haircut, she was much happier. I let the staff know that my dog was afraid of other dogs, and they made the accommodation. Would come again!

I purchased the purple octopus shown in my pictures. Service: Super helpful and fully answered my questions on pets. They also have a selection of raw food if you are steering in that direction.
