I had to leave town suddenly for four days and left my chocolate lab in the care of this kennel…read more The young woman on the phone I talk to was nice and agreed to let me tour the facility. Facility met my standards and I trusted in the young female that I left my elderly dog in the care of. Credit cards anccepted written on the table in the office. All of this changed when I returned. My dog spotted me when I pulled up and ran to the fence and was drooling and hysterical and losing his hair. He was a complete wreck. I went inside. It was greeted by an older woman, with a terrible demeanor, not the person I left my dog with. The desk says they take credit card, but this woman said she didn't know how to take a credit payment because she said her daughter was out of town. She told me I had to pay cash, which I did not have. She said I would have to go to an ATM and get cash. I had to leave my dog was obviously in bad shape in order to get cash because this person was incapable of doing her job and refused to put my dog back in my care in exchange for my drivers license as collateral for payment. If you've never heard the desperate cries of your pet that was not being taken care of watch you leave again just after you arrived, it is heart wrenching, and absolutely unnecessary. When I returned, I handed her the money and she took the longest time possible, with attitude, before retrieving my lab. My dog was a absolute wreck. I do not know what happened in that building, but it was nothing that any loving pet owner would want. My dogs was falling out. He smelled horrible of stress and was a shadow by my side for days afterwards. Best part of this whole experience is when I explained to this woman, who claims she is the owner now, how incredibly unsatisfied I was but their care of my loved family member, I was called an asshole as she walked off. I told her I would be sharing my experience on Google and yelp, to which her attitude did a complete 180 and started apologizing profusely and begged for me not to write about my experience. This place doesn't care about your pet, they only care about reputation when they're called on it. It's so very hard to find someone that's legitimately cares about another persons pet and not just a dollar. Avoid this place at all costs. This lady is evil.

We had never boarded our dogs before, so I was very apprehensive, but after reading several positive reviews, decided to make a reservation with Three Dog Ranch. We have two large great Pyrenees mixes so I requested that they be boarded in their own double bunkhouse. The staff were very kind and attentive and took the time to get to know our dogs and their unique personalities. I was able to enjoy the concert with my husband and when we picked our dogs up the following morning, they seemed happy and healthy. They did not appear distressed, and I am assuming they had a wonderful sleepover full of excitement because they slept hard the next day. Thank you Three Dog Ranch for taking such good care of my fur babies and allowing my husband and I to have a good time at the concert.

I do believe their staff work to keep the dogs safe. However, when we picked up our dog, his whole body still smelled strongly of urine, and parts of him were still not dry. I could even see his paw prints in it. We dropped him off clean, so it's concerning to think he might have been sitting in urine during the days of boarding. Another issue was their internal communication. We arranged via email with Steph to drop off medication that needed to be given the morning after our pickup day (my email was titled "Aug. 11 for our dog"). But when we picked him up, a staff member at the Whitefish location said he read "Aug. 14" on the note and didn't administer the medication. They never called or checked with us to clarify. While these may seem like small details, I had higher expectations before choosing this place. I wouldn't say they neglected the dogs, but there are definitely areas--like communication and cleanliness--that could be improved.

When we picked the dogs up, all five were let out at once, none of them leashed. Utter chaos. On the drive home, the smell was horrible. Well, I called to inquire about availability & they were the only ones with space (maybe this is why) within the area. So I asked if they are able to give insulin like other facilities and she said yes but she's on a backpacking trip and her dad is doing the boarding for the weekend and she doesn't really like when he has to do that so maybe call a different kennel and if you can't find one then call me back ( not professional ) I said I couldn't find any other one with space. So she said well bring it in and show him and by this point she seemed annoyed by my questions and wanted me off the phone when I'm just trying to make sure my older diabetic husky is going to be well cared for (& obviously my youngest as well) I could just tell she was very annoyed but I didn't have a choice if I wanted to save the trip as planned. The more I thought about it though after booking- my feelings got more and more worried and I messaged her and said I'm going to change the plans to next weekend and I just want to cancel. In fact, when I texted I think I will actually go forth with rescheduling my trip because you don't like bothering your dad with any extra steps and it's made me worry too much about Nya, would it be okay to cancel and get a refund? Her response was : Sure!!! Yes I got my refund, but then she informs me she's going on another trip next weekend too so her dad is still running it. Definitely seemed as though she's ensuring I won't try to use her business because giving insulin to a dog who literally doesn't feel it and takes a whole ten seconds to complete is too complicated or inconvenient even when you're being paid $50 a day! My intuition was sending me red sirens and I couldn't ignore that. These are my babies and I feel you should provide assurance to the owners that they are in capable hands rather than rush them off the phone and tell me to only use them if I couldn't go somewhere else as a last resort so her dad doesn't have to deal with it. Take this however: I never used this kennel and Erin (& her dad) may be great, especially with zero "add on" pets, but as a mom you know when something isn't quite right and I feel I made the best decision for my babies.

I found him through Instagram ( @jpk9_montana ) and his work and content and how he would transform these dogs was absolutely incredible. After a few months of seeing his posts and watching his stories I finally bit the bullet and made the commitment of flying myself as well as my dog out there. Prior to our drop off date Andre gave me a clear list of things to do and homework prior to bringing esco which was awesome. I felt like the training started as soon as I reached out to him. Come drop off day it was a very smooth experience and again his communication was excellent and it was actually a relief to get a few week break from taking care of esco tbh lol. During the training Andre kept us updated with tons of videos every single day as we watched our dog transform before our eyes. Lots of Trainers claim to train dogs but in reality they're just doing the bare minimum. Andre is the total opposite. Not only did he train redo but he really dialed in his eating and diet in general. Pickup day: we met andre and saw esco for the first time in a couple weeks and esco was a transformed dog, it felt as if we had control over our dog as opposed to our dog dictating how our days would go and when and where we could go. I'm now convinced esco is the most well trained frenchie out there. Going out with him is a breeze and a totally seamless process. I can't put in to words at how amazed I was when I saw esco's transformation from a training standpoint. Not to mention when we picked up esco he was in far better physical shape. Esco looked younger and leaner. Andre is that guy and the results speak for themselves. Check out his Instagram as he posts there multiple times a day and you will not be disappointed. They are booked out a few months last I checked and there's a reason they are so if you're thinking of sending your dog in for a board and train I would act fast. Thank you Andre for making our lives easier. Instagram: jpk9_montana
