Great selection of collars and beautiful fleece for my small dog. I love stopping by to see what I can pick up next for my Shih Tzu!

We found success with the treats and a couple of toys. The prices were very reasonable and the service was warm and friendly. It's always great to support a small business. There is ample street parking.

I'm always down to purchase a new toy for my beloved senior rescue (even if she doesn't play with them) because I just want her to have everything she's never had. The staff is beautifully organized by animal and the staff were hard at work offering pet food suggestions to dog owners with complex health issues. As I listened to their suggestions, I was impressed with their level of knowledge and care for all their customers. They seem to offer a wide variety of foods, toys, grooming supplies, and collars/leashes. I also saw on their social media pages that they have a mobile grooming salon! I believe I read they have an upcoming nail clip for cats and dogs and are donating the $15 to local animal rescues for pets in need. I thought that was so classy, philanthropic and kind. Any business that gives back gets 5-stars in my book.

Kissable Paws - after grooming

Kissable Paws

REPOST: original post was deleted…read more My boyfriend and I took Archer, our 1 year old Bernese mtn/Pitbull mix to Kissable Paws July 9th for the first time. Right off the bat, Maria (the owner) was patient with us as Archer would not go inside. I came in to tell her that we would just cancel the appointment as there was no way we can get him in. Maria came outside and tried everything she could to get him in. But with no luck. Archer did like her so that was a good thing. We were recommended to give him a calming meds and rescheduled for the following week. Prior to Kissable Paws, we were taking Archer to Petco for his grooming needs. The last few times were not successful as Archer was more than scared like he was terrified to go inside like something bad had happened. So glad we found Kissable Paws, Maria and her assistant Julia. They are the most patient people and I'm glad that Archer is comfortable with them! Our second try was every bit successful! Maria was ready and she got Archer inside. He saw that there was nothing to be scared of and he got so excited, he just wanted to go in the waiting area with the other cute doggies! As for the grooming itself, Maria has a lot of experience taking care of difficult dogs that other groomers simply reject. She was able to wash him, cut his nails, dry him and trim him (in places other groomers couldn't!) Maria and Julia took care of Archer in a loving and patient way that my boyfriend and I truly appreciated. Kissable Paws is definitely our exclusive grooming salon! Will 100% recommend them to everyone we know with doggies and cats (which we will definitely have to come in and bring them one of these days) :)

I spent last month in NC with my dogs, and while I was there I got his nails done and they barely cut them at all! Most of his nails are clear and his quicks aren't that long so I'm not sure why there was such a difference between the results, but we went back to Kissable Paws two days ago and his nails are back to their normal length now. We were also in and out in under 10 minute which was great.

I cannot begin to describe what a rewarding (and fascinating) experience this was for our family…read more We have a 108 lb. "adolescent" Lab/Mastiff rescue who just became too hard for us to manage safely. Sarah gave us the tools and coaching we needed so that we can now once again walk Finn in public, have people come to the door and enter our house without issues, and take Finn to the vet without problems. I can work remotely in peace! I say "rewarding" because at our weekly training sessions it was amazing to see what Finn could do once properly trained and more importantly, how much he wanted to succeed. Above and beyond, we enjoy being with Finn again and I think that he's a happier pup as well . I highly recommend Dog Coach for anyone who is struggling with issues with their pup. I only wish we had started training before it became a problem. Thanks, Sarah, for all your help! I know you are as proud of Finn as we are!

The…read morelist of difficulties we had with our dog was long even after she went through a complete training class with another trainer in our area. We have a dog that is not typically motivated by treats especially when she has other plans on what she wants to do. This all changed very rapidly working with Sarah. Annoying uncontrollable barking gone, destructive chewing also corrected, eating habits greatly improved. Response to commands also greatly improving every week. It appears that our dog knew all along what we wanted her to do and now she is doing it. The most surprising thing is that our dog seems much happier and we are now seeing primarily the affectionate side of her personality rather than the hyper, anxious, barking side of her personality. Finding a dog sitter was also a challenge before we worked with Sarah because of our dog's difficulties. Now we can be confident that she her behavior will not be a problem for the sitter.
