For starters, it's a small, woman owned business. And the woman who owns it is just fantastic. Christina runs a warm, friendly, caring, welcoming, and nurturing daycare for dogs that I swear rivals the best of human nursery schools. The same staff has worked there for years which is always the best sign of a well-run organization. I've watched with pride as she expanded the business over the years and has maintained the same exceptional quality of care and grooming. Special appreciation for Lacey, a stellar groomer and Pippi's other mother, Ali and John who always make our experience more personal. Frankly, if you don't have a dog, you should get one just so you can also go to WYP.

We picked her up about 2 hours later and I literally cried- she looks beautiful!!! I am so impressed with the work they were able to do despite her coming in with a lot of mats and long hair. Nancy is a wonderful groomer who understands the needs of her clients and is so loving and gentle with the dogs. The salon is adorable, very clean and cozy (especially at the new location in Shrub Oak!). I would highly recommend Nancy and the Pink Dogue Pet Salon. She truly cares about the dogs. Not only that, but Nancy does a great job of cleaning and styling the dogs. Dolce is a tough dog because she skwerms a lot and has some sensitive areas, but Nancy is wonderful about calming her to make sure she is clean and gives her a nice haircut every time. If you are looking for a great groomer that you can trust with your dogs and will treat them just as you would, than this is the best place in my opinion. Thanks Nancy and The Pink Dogue Pet Salon! P.S. I have heard horror stories of groomers in unsanitary conditions where dogs become sick and are not treated well.
