I am not just saying this (I promise) From the second I walked, starting with the cleanness smells amazing in there, visibility to the rooms where they groom and the amazing customer service! This was my first time dropping off my little one. Charlene took the time to listen to our needs and also made me feel SO AT HOME! by the time I had to leave her behind, I was not once hesitant that my little puppy was in great hands! Extremely disappointing experience -- would not recommend…read more Our dog came home from Barks and Bubbles with cuts around his eyes, mouth, paws, and butt, as well as severely over-plucked ears that were bleeding inside. The next day, he developed an ear infection, something he has never had in his seven years of life or after any previous grooming. When we contacted the owner, Patty, instead of taking accountability or helping us, she was extremely rude and argumentative with my mom, accused us of lying, and claimed our dog already had an infection and that we don't properly care for him. None of this was mentioned when we dropped him off or picked him up. She even had the audacity to ask for his vet's number so she can speak to him because she didn't believe us. He also came home with bloody diarrhea. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to take responsibility, blaming the customer, and being disrespectful when we simply asked for reasonable compensation was completely unprofessional. Especially considering how expensive the service is, we expected much better. We didn't thoroughly check reviews before going but they're consistent with what we experienced, rude owner, cuts on the dog, no accountability. We will absolutely not be returning, and couldn't recommend it to anyone.

I can say that the staff are spectacular, especially Jaime, who is friendly, helpful, and…read moreincredibly informative, Dr. Nolan is amazing (and he and the staff are the only reasons I didn't give a lower rating). He is communicative, caring, and has a great bedside manner. It is clear he truly cares about his patients and their owners. He gave my dog his wellness checkup last year. On the other hand and unfortunately, unfortunately, there are absolutely NO good things I can say about Dr. Schoenhut. She didn't return calls on two occasions despite our reaching out multiple times and being told things like, "oh she'll call in in 30 mins;" "oh, she was supposed to return your call after lunch;"; "I'll remind her again in just a minute;" "She's currently in with another pet but she'll reach out before she leaves (which she didn't). It took three more calls the next day (with similar excuses) before she called after the practice had closed for the day. I had brought my dog in for a number of reasons because he had a lot of muscle and overall weight loss in a very short period of time, could no longer jump up onto even the couch, his face had become gaunt, and his face and body (particularly the former) had been turning gray very quickly. Based on his condition, I was pretty sure that he had cancer. I've attached two pictures. The first is what he looked like during his wellness exam with Dr. Nolan about 8-ish months before I came back. The second is what he looked like the month after the exam by Dr. Schoenhut. He wasn't quite as wasted away at the time she examined him, but it wasn't much better. After Dr. Schoenhut examined him, she ordered a number of tests. When the results came in, she started breezing through things without defining the medical terms. I had to stop her, asked her to break it all down, and what it all meant. I asked her to explain the results and just to be straight with me if it looked like it was cancer--particularly because of the way he looked. She was kind of vague, talking about how certain markers *might* indicate the presence of cancer, and then recommended other tests that could be performed--including something like bone-marrow extraction--that would have cost over (if I'm remembering correctly) about $3,000 to $3,500 if we wanted to be 100% certain. I later learned that one of the markers on my dog's original test was in the 9,000 range but normal was in the 300 range, and that plus another elevated marker, together with his physical condition as shown in the picture below were sufficient to diagnose the presence of cancer without the need for the other really expensive tests In both visits Dr. Schoenhut--unlike Dr. Nolan--made me feel like she was just rushing through the appointment to get onto the next appointment. Literally the worst vet experience I've ever had in the 21+ years I've been a dog owner. But for the fact that Dr. Nolan and the staff are so great, I'd have rated the business no higher than 2 stars. If you do choose this practice, make sure you ask for and get Dr. Nolan.

Nail trims have always been a huge issue for us, especially at the vet. They would leave his nails too long, and over time the quick kept growing out, turning his nails into literal bear claws. It got to the point where I didn't think we'd ever get them back to a normal, healthy length. I originally found Jess for my labradoodle Mabel and just happen to ask her about my Louie's nails . Not only did she trim his nails as short as safely possible, she did it with incredible gentleness and patience. Louie was calm, comfortable, and completely at ease -- which NEVER happens. But what truly sets Jess apart is her knowledge and care. She's actively working on helping the vein recede over time so his nails can return to a normal length instead of those "eagle talons." Who even does that?! That level of attention, skill, and dedication is so rare. Jess doesn't just groom -- she genuinely cares about your dog's long-term health and comfort. After I realized that I need help, it was a challenge to find a groomer who could handle cats - they all seem to work only with dogs. A neighbor referred me to Aussie Mobile Grooming and I was given an appointment with Bridget. She is a true miracle worker! She got all of the mats out and, miraculously, both of my cats still like her! I'm so grateful to have found this business.
