The appointments for grooming are constantly cancelled last minute. The time you schedule is delayed by over 2 hours every time. Would not recommend unless you want to wait around with constant excuses for why they need to reschedule or are running behind. read more

I've been using Barks & Bubbles for over 10 years. I have very high maintenance Pomeranian's (one since passed). Patti the owner works with me in what I want and we come to agreement what's best- she knows best. Taking your dog is like dropping them at a friend's home. The pups are treated like family. Patti and her team have established personal relationships with their furry clients. Everything is high end from the shampoo to the scissors. Is it cheap ...?Nope, but you get what you pay for. I made mistake taking my new puppy to local groomer and they messed up his coat. Look forward to many more years with B & B! read more

I've tried a bunch of different groomers in the Westchester area and then read about Barks and Bubbles in Greenwich. Just brought my peke there for the first time and I'm so thrilled with the results! She looks BEAUTIFUL and smells fabulous (I can't stop sniffing her) ! :-) I haven't seen this good of a cut on my girl in a while. I have been taking my 2 dogs there for over 2 years now and I really appriciate the care that they take with my dogs. My big one suffers from seizures and I never took him to a groomer before as I was afraid he could have a seizure. This is the only groomer in Greenwich or Washington DC I've found who can make Beauman look good. I've tried many groomers. None come even close to Barks and Bubbles. They do a GREAT job. Beauman loves going and they've always been professional and give great customer service. read more

I believe that this organization is not doing business. I call three times. The first two time I called I left a plea for them to come groom my 15 year old cat that had knots in her fur which appeared because I could not comb her regularly after a surgery. I left this message twice, almost begging them to call me back. No response. The third time I called their answering machine was "full". I called another groomer who came to the house and did a great job. If I am allowed to state the name of the other groomer, it was Aussie Pet Mobile. read more

I love barks and bubbles for several reasons but I really give them credit for the fact that they can groom the moodiest dog inthe world. Our little Piper is this adorable 12 year old, 10 pound poodlish mut that gets mistaken for a puppy all the time. Her cuteness makes up for her neoploin complex and mood swings. Luckily the folks are barks and bubbles give her lots of love and she gives it back. Plus, the really imporatn part...our dogs looks fantasic after going there. Piper gets baths and complete grooming there, plus, our chocolate lab also goes for baths and brushing. We have been using Barks and Bubbles for years and we will continue! read more

uhh...i USED to love this groomer. the last time she groomed my dog she cut his eye, which i understand can happen, but the bill to treat it was over $300, so i thought it fair to ask for her to pay half. she belligerently did, but not without raising her voice, calling me names (selfish, petty, etc) in front of her staff and other customers, and really haranguing me while i waited for her to write the check. even as i walked out the door she shouted out "good luck trying to find another groomer!". to say her behavior was totally unprofessional, IS MINIMIZING IT. she also claimed it wasn't her fault. i've been going to her for 2 years and yes, i know my dog is fidgety and scared, some dogs are, but i've never been told by a groomer (nor by anyone at Barks & Bubbles) that he was exceedingly difficult. even the vet said "sometimes these things happen" and that she should fairly pay half. in my opinion, and i'm pretty sure in a court of law, a groomer assumes responsibility for the animal when it's left in their care. it should be said that i repeatedly tried to make amends and respectfully part ways on this. i live near this place and i would walk by and talk to her from time to time. we are both single moms and i thought she seemed like a sweet, fun person. but in the end, her lack of composure was just so awful, i cannot recommend her. when a business owner is unprofessional, it hurts everyone - the customers and the business. read more

Where to begin....my feisty 9yr old wheaten has been a problem for every groomer we've been to. To the point where he would get groomed (best they could) and they would not take him back bc of behavior:(....it came down to getting dog sedated every time he needed to be groomed (which for obvious reasons kept it at minimum). I was told about Patty the owner and her handling skills, just in passing admiring another Wheaten. When I called and spoke to her I was forthcoming about Bailey's behavior.....she welcomed the challenge! Well, we went and I applaud Patty and her staff! She is the "dog whisperer" of Greenwich! Single handily she groomed him....no muzzle....no one got bit....and he looked amazing!!! If you're looking for a true professional....look no further! read more

The lady there gave me so much attitude! All I asked was that she shave my dogs ears because they get matted and short hair makes it easier to find ticks. I even called before arriving to make sure she had done it. SUPER NASTY RESPONSE! After I practically begged her, she said my dog would be ugly. (Nice woman.) Then told me they couldn't take credit card. Then she raised the price. Then she said that "shaving" - which is what I originally asked for - would have been cheaper. However, when the dogs were dropped off, we were told they "cut" and don't do shaving. Seriously?! LEAST PROFESSIONAL PLACE IN THE WORLD!! (Did I mention dogs were climbing on the couch to jump over the gate? Your dog could be escaping as we speak... Ridiculous.) read more

I have used Barks and bubbles multiple times over the span of the last 5 years. I have had nothing but tremendous respect for the owner and her company. Every time I have left a message I am promptly called back and fit in almost immediately. If I am ever in a bind, she is the first one to "make time" for my golden doodle. They take immense pride in what they do and they do a great great job. I know in my heart of hearts that my dog (my best friend) is taken care of with the compassion and delicacy he needs. Tried calling 3 times in the last two weeks and no one answers the phone. Then when I do finally get someone- she was very rude. Find it very hard to find good groomers in the area. Answering the phone politely is the first step to getting someone's business. read more

Called this place and they were unable to give a price for a cut and bath without seeing my dog!!! Unless their customers dont care about pricing and dont mind a surprise, this is unacceptable and really bad business. I will never take my dog here. read more

I will never bring my dog back here. The workers there are rude and yell at the dogs. They have cut my dog near his eye and this time there is a horrible cut under his stomach. He refuses to go outside now because of his cut. Very rude and awful human beings. read more

Barks and Bubbles is the absolute best place in Fairfield county to have your dog groomed. My dog Charlie has been going there for several years now. It was the first and only place where he did not come home traumatized... Patty and her crew treat all the dogs like they are her own. I love the fact that they are not all caged up and have their little pen to play in with the other dogs!!! Charlie is almost 12 yrs. old and comes home looking like a puppy and smelling like a rose!!! I just love this place and can't say enough good things about them!!!! I've been taking my 12 year-old Maltese to Barks and Bubbles for 8 years with incredible results every time. His coat and skin have been so well cared for by the B&B team over time that he is routinely mistaken for a puppy. The owner is generally very busy and focused, but always checks in with me for changes each time I drop him off. The dogs are carefully watched, but for the most part not caged, which I really appreciate. The owner and her longtime staff are friendly, truly loves dogs and do meticulous work. The one time I brought him back to ask for his hair to be cut shorter around the face, the owner did it graciously and would not accept payment or a tip. Before finding B&B I tried three other groomers; one used a razor too close to his skin and gave him a rash, the other cut him accidentally with scissors, the last used a shampoo that turned his eyes red for days. I am very grateful to have found B&B. read more
