I'm probably the hardest person to please when it comes to my dog's grooming, and The Bark Club is the first place we've brought our golden doodle that I feel completely at ease when we drop him off and so happy to see him when we pick him up! Our dog gets matted extremely easily, and after a few horror story visits to other groomers in the area and a scared, fur-less doodle one too many times, I am so relieved to have a reliable, trustworthy groomer to take care of our guy. We now bring him to The Bark Club far more regularly than we had been getting him groomed in the past because of how great he looks great, and we love that he actually loves to go see Mark and Angela when we drop him off- It's nice to see our dog be as excited to see the groomer as he is to see us! Not only is the service the best we've ever experienced, but the prices are fair and the actual location is clean and inviting! I'm shocked by any negative comments made about the place, the service, anything, as we have had nothing but a positive experience every time we've been here. A hidden gem. They are located on the 2nd floor of a commercial house on East Avenue in Norwalk right off of I-95. I decided to try them a few months ago and they turned out to be a five star service! They have a fun, dog-loving vibe and not to mention, very cute, modern and clean. I couldn't be happier with the great customer service and friendly manner of business that I've experienced at The Bark Club. All three of my small doggies look great, smell great and are so happy after their grooms. I am so happy I finally found a groomer that I can trust with my precious little guys that are like children to me. The groomers are a younger couple, husband and wife, and friendly and actually talk to the dogs, taking the time to let the dogs get used to them and feel comfortable. I also appreciate the reasonable pricing they have, it makes a big difference and allows me to treat all three of my dogs more often. In today's world of large companies and little to no customer service, I am so happy to support a small business and at the same time feel very well cared for. Good old fashion customer service. They know how to run a business the right way. They took the time to ask questions since I was very particular about the groom I wanted for my Irish Setter (I wanted to keep the feathers). They also offered to bring my dog downstairs to the car for me when I came to pick up since I have a baby. This was extremely nice of them; when I came to pick him up, I called and Mark brought him down right away and I was able to pay with my credit card from my car with my baby napping in the backseat. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and that it's an overall great experience for you and your dog. The groom was exactly what I wanted and the price was very reasonable. I had been corresponding with Mark to get my dog Kai in for a full groom. He was so accommodating to my Busy schedule and patient with a few last minute changes that I actually couldn't wait to meet him and bring Kai in! The salon itself is clean and very inviting. They were both so lovely to me and my Mom and Kai that i immediately felt Comfortable and knew i made the right choice by coming here. Even Kai ran up the stairs with no hesitation. I love that there are stairs and that it's to the back parking lot as well and not the Main Street. When I went to pick Kai up he was wagging his tail, seemed very content and was sporting not only a very handsome haircut but an adorable tie! We will be back!!! read more

I've been coming here since they opened and I'm so glad that they're here in town. Super clean, very friendly, very caring about my dogs. I have two rescues - one is an energetic and naughty cockapoo and the other is a traumatized puppy mill mama Mini Schnauzer rescue who is extremely skittish and nervous. The Bark Club understands them both and they are always happy to come here (a good sign) and come home looking gorgeous. I have given instructions on how to "do their hair" depending on the season, and the cuts are always on point. I've also asked for advice on what to do and have gotten good ideas as well. The BEST dog groomers! I am so happy that I found The Bark Club. I have lived in the area for 20+years and I am finally able to say I found my groomer for life. The pros: talented groomer, personalized service, one-on-one attention to my dogs, price is very competitive for the area, no crates, clean, friendly and easy to get to with plenty of parking. The cons: none! Mark and his wife are so welcoming and I can tell they love what they do. They treat my dogs like their very own and they feel like family now. I have been bringing my dog here since it opened and I will never go anywhere else. The space is impeccably clean and everything is brand new. The staff is very friendly and professional and they make you feel comfortable right away. Mark treats my dog like his own and the haircut is perfectly consistent every time. Nunu is 11 years old and hates to be groomed. Mark does a wonderful job with her. She doesn't shiver with nerves when she enters the door. I like being able to choose the length of her coat depending on the season. Their facility is spotless which is important to me. They really care about their clients. I take my dog, Pepper, every 4-6 weeks for a grooming. I have been very happy with the grooming, and having my dog not locked up in a cage. Mark and his wife are both very caring and professional. I also take my mini dachshund Mattie for her nail trims. She is older and very comfortable there. I highly recommend this business and the owners! read more
