When she had came home, her eyelashes were basically GONE. It doesn't seem like a big deal to many, but she's been growing them out for the past 2+ years. I've been to this grooming place before and there was no issue the first time, she came home looking great WITH her eyelashes, so i don't understand what happened this time. Her eyelashes are gone and her cut is choppy. when i called to complain to see what happened, i spoke to the owner who LAUGHED and said "well they weren't cut so i don't know what you want." So unprofessional, with no care. i will never send my dog here again and recommend everyone to stay away. These pictures are the first time she got her haircut by them, VS right now. yet "they were never touched"

This has to be the best groomer in the Winchester area. I think they only groom small dog breeds. The associates are knowledgeable about dogs and how to properly care for them. I have done a lot of reading since becoming a shih tzu owner and the staff member took me by surprised at how much she knew about shih tzus. She impressed me. She also took the time to talk with me before Sammy's appointment to get a thorough understanding of what cut I wanted, what shampoo/conditioning treatment Sammy needed, etc. (Shih tzu can have sensitive skin and their skin can dry out. Owners and Groomers have to take care.) Not only did she already know all of this, but she helped me select what exactly I wanted. The best part was it didn't cost me anything extra. Since it was his first visit, they even gave Sammy, a complimentary blueberry facial. My kids thought that was the cutest and funniest thing they ever heard. They were sold. They love this groomer. Frankly, so do I. When I picked Sammy up, he looked like a million dollars. He had an amazing cut. His fur was soft and fluffy. They cleaned out his ears, filed his nails, brushed his teeth, and did a fantastic job. I HIGHLY recommend this groomer.

I had initially expressed my displeasure with past groomers who had shaved her hair to address knots. (Not matting, just knots) Well, this time my request was totally ignored. The groomer I have now has NEVER shaved her hair to address knots. She is consistent with the way she cuts her hair, and my dog always comes out looking adorable.
