Gio is a life saver! Before I found Kevin's dog walking and Gio, I had hired 2 other dog walkers, one was completely unreliable, and the other said she was coming for an hour a day and my camera picked her up only coming for 5 minutes. So to say I was a little hesitant to try again is an understatement. Gio has been wonderful. I've seen how my dogs react to him when he comes over and they absolutely love him. I would hope that it doesn't even need to be mentioned, but he is very reliable and takes them for the time that he has promised. Also he is very easy to contact with any concerns and has responded right away. To top it off, my gardeners left the gate open last week and both my dogs got outside, Gio called me right away and went after them like they were his own dogs. Kevin comes over once a week to take our 11 month old golden retriever for a walk and play session with his dog Ernie. She clearly burns off all her energy since she's super mellow afterwards. He's easy to coordinate with, and flexible. And has good prices! Definitely recommended! read more

Kevin is the best. We have an elderly cocker spaniel, Pickles, that we needed to board for a week. He has some special needs including (but not limited to) the need to go out often and very bad arthritis. Kevin setup Pickles in an area that he would be with Kevin most of the time and would not have to interact with larger/younger dogs that may unintentionally hurt him. He took care of his meds and other needs right on schedule. Kevin was able to provide high amounts of direct attention while we were away and it was a big relief. Pickles loved Kevin and made friends with another dog there too. Kevin is responsible, honest and in tune with the animals. Great rates too. Okay. So, can't say enough good things about my new dog dude Shaun! I'm a nanny for a high-profile family and I work three to four 24 hour shifts per week (minimum), so I'm not home for my little furry boy a lot of the time. Enter Shaun super dog nanny extraordinaire!! I mean seriously, sometimes I think he's happier with Shaun then he is with mom, haha. He takes perfect care of my Monks (Monkey is his name), entertaining him with doggy field trips (I didn't know such an AWESOME thing even existed!), plus plenty of exercise and face time with various friendly canines. My schedule is crazy and I thought it would be next to impossible to find somebody to watch my little guy, but Shaun handles all my doggy needs with ease. That first day my dog spent with Shaun he sent me the most incredible doggy selfie with all the dogs and I swear they were all smiling at me! I asked him how he managed to get all the dogs to look at the camera and he told me, but I think it's a trade secret so you'll have to ask him yourself ;) But, the most important thing of all is Monkey loves Shaun and I trust Shaun, so I am ever so grateful that we have found him *Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the prices are insanely good and the flexibility cannot be beat! These are some seriously happy dogs! My whippets just joined Gio's pack in Redwood City and I couldn't be happier! Gio has been very flexible and responsive when it comes to my school schedule and my dogs love him!! I have a one year old whippet with absurd amounts of energy, and a very mellow 10 year old. He takes them with his pack where they gets interaction with other dogs and come home happy and sleepy. Would give 6 stars if possible. Our experience with Shaun and boarding our dog for an extended stay were excellent. We recently moved from the Peninsula to the East Bay. As part of that process, we were staying in a place before our new house was available where we could not have our small, Goldendoodle. We were highly stressed at the thought of boarding her for an extended period (it ended up being 43 days). We'd tried other dog day care options before and she really didn't like them. Found Shaun on Yelp and thought we'd try him out based on stellar reviews. He couldn't have been greater. In the first few days, he sent photos of our dog out enjoying walks and other activities to make sure we were comfortable. He also asked and listened to her preferences and acted on them (I think she ended up sleeping on his bed). Part of staying with Shaun involves lots of exercise. She came back super-happy and in really good shape. I called Shaun a few times during her stay and he was always great and made me feel really comfortable that our dog was being very well taken care of. You can tell that Shaun really loves dogs and cares a lot about not only the dog, but the owners. When I went to pick her up, she was very happy to see me, but I could tell that she was really comfortable with Shaun and family. Shaun was genuinely sad to say goodbye to our little dog as he'd had her for such a long time. I think they bonded and that made me feel really good about her experience there. Also, he'd sharpened up some of her training. She seems even more well behaved and relaxed since returning. Absolutely no bad habits picked up, in fact the opposite. Nothing but great stuff to say. And, would, without reservation recommend and use Shaun again. read more

Kevin and Gio have been walking my dog Bailey for over 3 years. In addition to being extremely reliable (100%), Kevin and Gio truly care about dogs and are super nice and relaxed people. I found Kevin on Yelp and reached out because he had great reviews. He got back to me very quickly and arranged a visit to my house the next day to meet my dog. Kevin was extremely relaxed and calm with my dog and it immediately made my dog (who is typically very excitable) calm as well. Over the past two years, Kevin's brother Gio has been walking Bailey as the business has grown. Gio is terrific as well. He is very courteous and flexible. This is the first time I've had someone other than a trusted neighbor or friend board my dog so I didn't know what to expect. Kevin suggested I come see his home, meet the other dogs, and see how well mine would get along with them. He clearly had a good feel for dogs and knows what they're thinking. He took good care of my 65 pound lab mix. He didn't send any updates while I was away, but I didn't ask for any either. My dog looked happy and was more fit than when when I left him -- bike rides and walking trimmed off some weight he was needing to lose. Kevin is flexible and very reasonably priced. Amazing!!! We found ourselves in a sticky situation when our previous dog sitter called and cancelled the day before we were scheduled to go out of town. A frantic Yelp search ensued and we found Kevin. He not only agreed to take care of our beloved four legged Pal with virtually no notice but also got up at 5:00 AM to take her in. Leaving our precious baby being with a new sitter we kept bugging him with calls and texts which he responded to patiently. And the best review of him is that our dog who usually can't wait to go back home was a little reluctant to go home when we went to pick her up. Kevin watches our two dogs when we go out of town. They are always happy and healthy when we get back, and they're happy to see him. I'm always a little nervous having someone I don't know come into my house for the first time, but Kevin seemed very nice and responsible when I met him. He gets along great with our dogs, and we feel comfortable going away because we know they'll have a friendly face at home. One time I forgot to email him when we got home from our trip, and so he contacted me to make sure we'd gotten home and the dogs weren't hungry and lonely. Kevin is great! My dog Joe is a 6-year old Jack Russell/ whippet rescue who's been called a treasure by those who know him and a rascal+ by others - he requires an experienced handler, and he is thriving with Kevin and the crew. Kevin takes Joe out with the pack and the dogs run with Kevin on a bike or push scooter. Joe comes back a few hours later bounding with energy for like 4 minutes, then he drinks water and collapses for a long nap - exhausted and happy, just the way we like him! It is well over time for an update on my review for Kevin. Kevin has been loyally working with my dog for a few years now. I would NOT trust ANYONE else with my dog at this point and I do not say that lightly. Kevin has not only become a big help and friend to our family but also a buddy, a behaviorist and overall angel to my dog. He has exceeded the title as a dog walker and established a very professional business that he is very skilled at as a young adult. My dog's behavioral problems have improved and that is not even a dog walker's job. My dog does not pull with Kevin or attack other dogs on their walks - my dog would do this with other people. Kevin has him under control. He also gets very happy when he knows Kevin is coming. I tell him "Kevin is coming today" and he KNOWS what I'm saying. You can tell when your pets are happy - he is always happy when he knows Kevin is coming and even happier when they are out spending quality time together. We found Kevin through yelp last November when our usual boarding facility was fully booked for the Thanksgiving holiday. Even with very short notice Kevin agreed to take in Ralph, our 85lb boxer, for the entire week. We called and/or texted Kevin several times while we were away and he always responded promptly assuring us that Ralph was doing great and having fun. Since then we have used Kevin's services several times. He is always accommodating even on very short notice and has never let us down. Since we found Kevin we have never even thought of boarding Ralph anywhere else. Kevin clearly loves dogs and dogs clearly love him. What more could you ask? read more

Kevin's a pro! My girlfriend and I work long hours and often can't get back early enough to empty our two fuzzy children before they explode all over the house, so Kevin comes over and walks/plays with them to give them some much needed midday relief. I've found him to be very flexible, accommodating, and thorough. I always get a quick status report via text afterwards (or scorecard, if you prefer) to let me know who did what and how it went. He's also very capable, and is able to walk both our 110-lb lab mix and our 10-lb mini dachshund, presumably without incident (they haven't complained). I found Kevin using Yelp and we where able to have a meet and greet with my 2 dogs Dudley and Morgan. Right away I could tell he was very responsible as he answered emails-calls quickly and professionally. After my 4 legged babys met him he started taking them on walks 2-4 times per wk...i work long hours and it was refreshing they weren't locked up all day alone. Kevin was also great with them for overnight visits, always helpful with drop off times and he was even able to deliver them home when i was in a bind. I relocated to Mountain View a few months ago and needed find someone in a hurry to take care of my three year old Cavador. After contacting several bigger dog services I went with Kevin and Shaun and they are awesome. They are professional, courteous, and always prompt. They exercise, socialize, and train my dog and are extremely flexible with my schedule. When I was in a hotel in San Carlos Shaun would come pick up my dog every morning at 7 and would bring him back when I got home - sometimes late at night. My dog is always happy to see Kevin and Shaun and I have boarded him with them many times as well. I don't think I could be any happier with these guys! They are awesome! Always on time, flexible, and worth the price. These guys treat my pup like one of their own. I get pictures to see how my little guy is doing too. They don't just walk your dog. They give your dog the proper exercise it needs for its breed, age, and health. They help me train my pup and help me feed him not only what's good for my wallet, but my dog too. These are great people. They also offer dog boarding as well. If you board your dog with them, it's not one of those places where they put the dog in a crate until you pick them up. They play and run all day with other dogs. Dog parks, running, playing fetch.
