I took Oso in today and he came back looking super fly, shiny, and smelling sooo good. He's a bigger dog so naturally I was nervous of his size and him haven't being groomed in a while but the whole team was super reassuring, took REALLY good care of him, it was super quick, super easy and such good pricing! 10000/10!
Been coming here for a few years now and have had a great experience every time . Pricing is very reasonable compared to others. I will keep coming back here!! Highly recommend check them out!!
Highly recommend Paws Palace in Santa Clara! I had been going to a place in Campbell, but after a move I needed someplace closer. After driving by PP time and time again I figure I would try them. Ricardo was so welcoming and kind to Dexter and I. The process was easy and Dexter came out a HAPPY and handsome boy! I am very satisfied and Paws Palace has a new customer! Dexter and I thank you Paws Palace!
I have been a regular customer at Paws Palace for almost four years now. However, my recent experience has left me with no choice but to find another groomer. I noticed that this once-fantastic place has become a groomer mill. During my last visit, I picked up my dog, Zoey, and noticed a small cut on her ear after paying for the service. I was a little annoyed because the groomer did not inform me of this. I felt they could have been more forthcoming and mentioned that Zoey had a small accident during her grooming. When I got home, the cut was still slightly bleeding, so I took Zoey to the vet. Unfortunately, the wound was deep enough to require 3 stitches. Although accidents can happen, I had previously informed the groomer that Zoey was a rescue dog and a bit skittish. I also mentioned that she was treat-motivated and would behave if handled with care and patience. This I remind the team constantly and always seem receptive to concerns and friendly, yet the stitches were the last straw, as in the past, Zoey's nails had been cut too short to the point where the wick was exposed....ok I though, that could be accident..I feel like a terrible dog dad and for giving Paws Palace another chance to prove me wrong, but sadly, it did not meet my expectations. I miss the old owners who took great care of Zoey, and for the safety of my dog, I will not be returning.
Angel V did a great job on my long hair cat. No more mats hair. My cat feels more lightweight after grooming and bath.
Love this place and the quality work they do! They pay special attention to your dogs personal needs and treat them with the love and care they deserve. Luna was greeted with caresses and the groomer came out to meet us to talk about what cut would best fit her. Prices are reasonable and super fast service. I will definitely return here and can't wait til Lunas next cut.
I have been to this place a couple times before and had no issue with how they groomed my dog. This last encounter was a total sh*t show to say the least. Not only did they shave my doodle down to practically nothing, they cut him in several areas too. Not to mention how choppy the cut was in the places they left any fur on him. They claim that I had asked for a summer cut in FEBRUARY! But even a summer cut on a doodle shouldn't look like this. My dog has not been his usual happy self since coming back from this place. I'm beyond pissed. I had to buy my dog a sherpa jacket because he's been shivering with all his fur gone. The best they said they can do is refund me 50%. I basically paid $135 for my dog to look like a mangy street dog. Do yourself and your dog a favor and take your business elsewhere.
If you love your dog, don't bring them here. I have brought my dog here a few times, and have even recommended this business to my sister, but am now regretting that after the terrible experience we had today. Not only was their customer service terrible, but worst of all they cut up my poor puppies belly. Here is the issue with customer service. We dropped our pup off at her 4pm appointment time, my fiancé and I both being a little confused since we see that they close at 4:30pm. By 6pm we called to see if she was almost done, and no answer. We figured maybe they had a few later appointments so continued to wait by the phone ready to pick her up. Finally around 7:15 we receive a phone call from a disgruntled employee telling us that he has been trying to call us multiple times. We told him we haven't received any calls, but would be there in less than 10 minutes. I walked into to pick up my pup and immediately apologized and asked if maybe he had called the wrong number since we didn't receive any calls, and even attempted to show him our call log just to see if we could figure out what happened. He was EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional. He just kept telling me he was calling and that I needed to change the number in their log, which makes absolutely no sense since we had received the one phone call. He would not listen to me, even while I was still apologizing and kept muttering to his dog that "we all have to go home at some point". I had already tipped 20% prior to hearing this, and now I regret it. Also be aware that they charge you for paying with a credit card, but definitely don't inform you of that. This groomer is the reason I will no longer take my dog here and will ensure that my sister does not either. His lack of professionalism is unacceptable and it looks like this isn't the first time he has behaved this way or spoken to someone in this manner.
This is a review for poor customer service and not totally how grooming service has been performed. I have never encountered any problem until today when I was treated like a stupid person and I felt diminished as a person. That was a very frustrating feeling. It started when I dropped my dog, agter I texted the picture of how I wanted the cut to be, I wanted to confirm that he understood it, I xas about to ask for the short hair.. the employee just interrupted me and didn't want to listen to me. He just said that he will look at it afterwards and not now. I didn't think much of it but felt a bit annoyed but didn't say anything and remained polite. When I came back to pick up my dog, what I experienced was an example of poor customer service where the client has to shut up and just take it or leave it. The groomer had an attitude. When I asked about the price not being the same that he mentioned, he asked me back if I read the paper on the counter about the extra 3 or 4% automatically added to the bill. I was asking a question and the way he replied to me was disrespectful and condescending. So if I haven't read it yet, he could have been polite and not being rude. I work as a customer service manager and this is a shame and extremely poor customer service. No empathy to customers. Please train your employees better. This is the least an employee can do. He gave me back my dog without his harness and lead. I asked about it and he brought back a few of them and none of them belonged to my dog. I told him about the color and he brought it. Then asked me if it was the collar my dog had around his neck was his collar too. Well, he should have known if he was doing his job properly. As for the rendered service, I sent a picture over asking for a summer cut but my dog came out with still long hair and not what I asked for. I felt so frustrated about the way he treated me that I didn't want to ask about the long hair. I called back twice to talk to the owner and only got a voicemail. It was a very disappointing experience. Why would I want to return here to be treated like crap while I was polite? I should have given no tips at all. Too late... i am very upset, to say the least and an apology would be welcome.
My dog got scratched and very uneven hair cut !! This is my first time visit here and it's my last time too !! Don't go here!

Horrible they ruined her completely what my dog normally looks like versus what they sent her home he said that it looks completely like the picture I beg to differ because he has the funds to open up a grooming place shouldn't mean you should the old man that cut her hair was extremely rude I would recommend no one going here. read more

We have an anxious dog, and after most of her washes at other places, she comes out quivering. Here she came out wagging her tail and trotting around. She smelled so good after a wash and the smell stays in her fur for at least a a week. they gave her a cute bandana. Will be coming back. read more

Actual photos of two poodles sent for a spa day wash and trim. Save yourself and fur babies a lot of pain from these type of services. Yelp great reviews were from original owners and since ownership was changed there are multiple warnings of avoiding this place. Their license should be reviewed and removed due to harsh practices. The male employee that grooms the animals is not sympathetic nor does he take accountability for his work. I would advise the new owner to find someone else before this business goes under. The pictures I have loaded show razor burn and skin irritations. My moms pup is miserable and it's shameful someone could do this. Added time to take dog to Vet, pay added costs for treatment and cone. She is on meds for a week. Will say my mom was reimbursed by Paw Palace but the pain her one dog suffered most is unacceptable. read more

We sincerely apologize for the end result of these two cuts,…
The staff was friendly however I would not recommend this place for a Pomeranian Breeds.. They brushed my dog dry before shampoo and conditioning so he lost more than half of his fluffy fur and now looks more like a stray dog than a show dog now... They butchered his beautiful hair by cutting a big chunk of it off instead of detangling the small matting he had so he looks uneven. **** I specifically told them not to cut his hair more than 1 inch when I dropped him off. *** But they cut 3 inches long and 3 inch diameter section off! I wish they called me to ask me if it's okay to cut so much hair off before they did it. I would have detangled the matting myself! Now it will take years for his hair to grow back or it may never grow back the same. I am very upset and disappointed. Only compliment I can give is they clipped and filed his nails and detangled his matting...but he shouldn't have lost so much underlining hair in the process. I asked for an outline cut which makes his body more round and fluffy but his overall hair looks butchered and very uneven. I feel upset looking at my dog every day because he lost his beautiful fluffy fur...Sorry but I will not return to this place and have expressed my upset feelings with the the intake groomer and the other groomer who cut his hair. And I still paid them $80 read more

There was definitely a scheduling mix-up here, Amanda, and we're…
I was referred to Paws Palace from a friend. After reading reviews and seeing that they've had experience with Miniature Schnauzers, I was convinced I should give this place a try for my puppy's first grooming. First experience was as simple as making a phone call, scheduling an appointment, dropping Loomis off the morning of the appointment, and picking him up after work. That simple! Great customer experience from start to finish! And a super friendly staff! No doubt I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Paws Palace is much more then I thought! I am an owner of a large breed doodle. My pup is pretty tough to handle let alone GROOM! Paws Palace did an excellent job on my pups coat! I am very satisfied with the pictures below. Both the owners(Kurt & Ginger) are very responsive and understanding. You can really appreciate a business that values their customers! Great job guys. Thank you again. read more

AVOID GOING HERE. They shaved a large part of my dog and scratched his delicate area. They said he "moved" but we've never had an issue with any other groomer. My dog is in pain because of this. On top of that they give the bill and expect tip BEFORE saying anything about what they did. They are scammers. Never going here again. read more

I brought my 10 year-old Persian cat here for a shave (or "Lion Cut!") to help him with the heat in the summer (he was groomed back in July). Paws Palace did a great job! I was able to get a next-day appointment when I called. He's been groomed a few times in his life, and so I knew I needed to be clear about any special instructions. My boy cat has very sensitive man nipples that get easily irritated by clippers - they've gotten infected on two separate occasions at different groomers. So I indicated that he was sensitive and to be careful with his undercarriage. If you are new to having your pet groomed: know that a pet grooming appointment is like a hair appointment - the clearer you are, the better it will turn out. Sometimes it takes a go or two until you know what is right for your pet. I dropped the cat off in the morning and received a call about 3 hours later that he was finished. He was clean and clipped! And his belly was groomed with no nicks or abrasions to his nipples (yay!). I was surprised to find he was given a tiny red bandana. He looked like an idiot. Hilarious. The one negative was that they used some kind of powder or something on him (smelled baby powder-ish) that lasted for a few days. Our other cat reacted very negatively to it, and I didn't much care for it myself. Parking is around back - I haven't had a problem. Shop was clean, prices very reasonable. I plan to make my gentleman cat another appointment soon! read more

I recommend this place to all the pet owners I run into, which is A LOT! Definitely guilty of being a helicopter mom to my Cocker Spaniel, Ziggy, and there's no other place I will take him other than here. Spaniels are one of the more difficult breeds to groom, physically and emotionally, and he always comes back looking more dapper than ever! Ziggy comes out running in the highest speed, but looks so great and she is totally worth every penny! Thank you for always doing SUCH a good job and putting up with Ziggy & (more so) me! :D read more
