For example one ear was clipped and the other one wasn't, one side of his but was done but the other side wasn't, and his chest hair was so uneven. I feel like they rushed through him. We dropped him off at 9 am and he wasn't done until like 4. That is a long day for a dog to spend in the kennel. I feel like they overbook and don't take there time. Dr. Garmin sat on the floor to play with my doggo to make him comfy with her. I also wanted to mention cause I saw some not great reviews regarding pricing. They told me they would charge me $25 for his senior well visit and the stitch removal was going to be complimentary over the phone. When I went to get charged they were going to charge me for both the visit and the removal but I brought up the phone conversation and they honored it without even checking with the staff who I spoke to. I really appreciated that. I thought that was an amazing price for both services and I appreciated how they handled the miscommunication. Great customer service!

When I called the woman who answers the phone in the office - the same one I told at the start of the year to remove me from contact, she blamed it on the boarding care side of the business. But it WASN'T, because the voicemail that I received was from the office for a follow up checkup - where he'd never been once in his life. They also emailed the same with the title of "we can't wait to see XXX again". I can't tell you what sort of grief this has caused me and no one apologized to me when I called to ask AGAIN for them not to contact me - not going back there. If they contact me again for my deceased beloved pet, I'm filing a complaint - not kidding about this.

The 4 week obedience training with Angie, Savannah was transformed into a calmer doggo, with great manners, and way more confidence in herself than when we first rescued her. We also just boarded Savannah and Poppy (our older golden retriever) with Angie for 5 days. The facilities were top notch (indoor heated/cooled kennels with anytime access to outdoor runs instead of crates) and the attention that Savannah and Poppy got was fantastic. The pictures provided to us while they were boarded showed how big smiles both dogs had. When we went to pick them up, you could tell the dogs were given lots of love and attention. Poppy is my velcro dog and she did not want to leave because of the amount of love she got while being boarded. Savannah also did made sure to give Angie lots of love before jumping into the car. During our trip we asked Angie if she would be able to give Savannah a spa day with a wash and pedicure, and Angie said no problem and got it done before we had picked Savannah up. Pretty Smart Pet Services has all of our training, boarding, and now grooming needs for Poppy and Savannah and any future doggos we decide to get. The drive from Va Beach to Franklin is well worth knowing that Poppy and Savannah get the best care possible.

Bailey is my baby, I ALWAYS make sure she's in great hands. They post photos frequently on their facebook page and I always know what my baby is up to. I love the ladies who work there as well, they're so awesome! I've used them for daycare (2-4 times per week) and boarding when I'm out of town. I love that she comes home POOPED whenever I bring her home. I usually bought the bundles which brings down the price and they add a free bath on top of it. I think it's much more worth it than paying day to day if you can afford the upfront cost. The only complaint I may have is that I wish the hours were extended to 7pm for those of us who work later than the usual hours. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

Later, at around 1:00 PM, I received a call stating that he likely would not be seen at all due to the staff being too busy. This lack of respect for my time and my pet's well-being is unacceptable. While I understand that organizations can be busy, it is irresponsible to schedule appointments that cannot be honored. If you are unable to give new clients the proper attention, it would be more honest to stop accepting them rather than wasting our time and causing unnecessary stress. Overall, I was left deeply disappointed and cannot recommend this place to others.
