But in the spirit of helping neighbors, I provide a summary of my recent experience with Godspeed, where my dog has been a client for 6 years. He had a stricture in his colon which was resulting in pooping-problems for about 5 months. It was a complicated case that looked like constipation + diarrhea. Dr. Hale and his team treated my dog over the course of 3 weeks for this condition--with kindness, thoughtfulness, good care, and communication. The stricture is now functionally repaired, and we very likely avoided surgery. Thus, not only did they provide a successful treatment, but they saved me thousands of dollars in the cost of surgery. My advice? Get pet insurance, as Dr. Hale advised me a couple of years ago! And take your dog to Godspeed Animal Care in Williamsburg if you can.

Michele made me an appointment a few days after I called and she came to my home! She gave Chelsea the best bath she's ever had, and then proceeded to give her a very careful grooming, and now she looks adorable!
