Walking into the first pawn shop in another state, was very underwhelming. We were on a guys trip looking at another state and how they do things. Then my son and I seen the firearms. Knowing that we could very much purchase any long rifle or shotgun we thought, why not, and started checking out their inventory. I was looking at a few different ones when one black beauty caught my eyes. She was a .17 caliber with a 15 round magazine. I had looked at my son and we both seemed to give each other the nod to go ahead with the purchase. After giving the cashier the money and going through the 4473 for the ATF the gentleman walked over and picked up the firearm but for some reason he did not walk to me but to the back and would come out with another shorter gentleman. At the time I thought nothing of it, that is until they both seemed to look at their computer screen. Then the gentleman from the back began to speak about the restricted magazine that came with the firearm and how he could not sell it to me. However he never said anything about finding me one that was Washington compliant, Only that he could find me one for sale at another pawn shop in Washington state and couldn't sell me this one, so I asked about a little money back or where I could get one from this company sense the firearm was purchased with a magazine. The gentleman had repeated himself and said again how he/they did not have to do any such thing. Then went on to tell me and my son how the firearm had only just been put out 3 days prior and that it would sell quickly, so at that point you would think it was just a magazine, right? It was that the person did not want anything but the money, he never cared about the customer or their story. So at that point I had looked at my son and told him that this was a principle situation and had nothing to do with anything but how absolutely rude the gentleman had been to not only myself but taught the new guy that as long as you get their money they don't really care about the customer. At that point I asked for the transaction to be cancelled and my money refunded. I do not and will not recommend this "pawn shop" to anyone, ever again. read more
