Heidi is my personal dog. We tried one trainer for a few days and she was so bad I fired her. I then bit the bullet and hired Dog Training Elite in Los Angeles. They were a little more expensive than other trainers, but Heidi was impossible for me to train, despite all my efforts. Jon, the owner came to the house for a free consult. At that time he was the only trainer at Elite as they had just opened in LA. He later got another trainer, Clayton. Both worked with Heidi and pretty much failed, but they helped her with a few things. Now, you would think I would write a bad review, but no. No one, I don't think will ever be able to get the most stubborn, spoiled 120 pound monster to do a thing, but I love her. Jon and Clayton were never late, not once and that is important to me. Both could see my frustration, but they kept trying and trying and they did mange to get her to do a couple of things. They kept their appointments as they should. I could see all the effort they were putting into getting Heidi to cooperate. They would teach stay and the next day she would refuse. They taught heel which she has never done for me. Nothing lasted more than a day or two and I did all my assigned home work--yes, they give homework to help your dog succeed. They even went so far as to give me a couple extra sessions at no cost because she was such a pain. They did everything they could. But Heidi was just not having it. But, she loved Jon and Clayton so much. She would get so excited when they came to the door. She especially loved Clayton, sorry Jon, but a girl gets a crush and what can you do. She loved them both though and they were so good to her. They kept their promises (the inability to get Heidi to do much is not their fault). There are only a few dogs that just won't or can't be trained and I have one under my feet as I write. They never broke her spirit-so important. She is loving, never would bite and is so very sweet. She is great with other dogs. That said, I have had to hire a dog walker because I am older and Heidi will just knock me over and no one should ever walk a dog they can't control at all times. I know she misses her time with Jon and her crush Clayton and if for a second I thought they could train my big beast I would hire them again. But she is fully grown now and I don't see what anyone else could have done. They tried it all. I work with her everyday and she just looks at with a "No, not doing that" face. She is wonderful, just the most stubborn dog I have ever seen in my many years. They did show her such love, that I do think they helped her be the happiest dog. What I love about Jon and his company is how professional they are. They keep up with the latest training tactics. They are kind. They clearly love dogs. So, I do recommend them. They know what they are doing, but they are not going to hurt a dog and make her depressed just to get the result they want, I won't either. They just love dogs and I bet never fail. Heidi is just, well, a rare exception. And I also think she has a tad bit of brain damage for what reason we don't know. Had nothing to with Jon or Clayton. So hire them. Unless your dog's name is Heidi, then just give up. Jon and Clayton, Heidi says hi.

Diana worked with us and gave us the tools to help her with confidence-building, trusting people and acclimating into our family that already had a spoiled and untrained dog. After many sessions and homework, we now have a dog that has so much more confidence, has learned to self soothe and is so much less stressed. She fits into our family perfectly and is like a different dog from the one we brought home that day. She was so skittish the first day that she shook even when we opened the refrigerator door. I can't say enough about Diana and her incredible knowledge of dog behavior, in addition to her years of experience. We are so grateful that we were referred to her! Thank you, Diana!!

Maddie had been having some reactivity issues due to being attacked on 2 separate occasions by a bigger dog. Any time we would walk her, she would howl bloody murder. And if you know a beagle's howl, you know how loud it can get. The neighbors knew when we would be walking her because they could hear her for blocks. And people would stare at us as if we were horrible pet parents so we decided it was enough and contacted Diana for some help. As soon as we met her, she explained her process and how she works. And she explained how and why reactivity occurs. Everything was explained very easily and smoothly so that my spouse and I could understand why Maddie did certain things and how to correct them. We went ahead and did the 8 session package and met weekly with Diana. She laid the foundation for us and we increased training to build on that foundation. Lo and behold, Maddie no longer howls bloody murder when she sees another dog! One of our neighbors noticed and said that he can't tell anymore when we walk her because he doesn't hear us anymore. And every time we spot him during our walks, he's always so impressed with her training and how far she's come along. We ended our training with Maddie learning "down" and we are planning on doing more training sessions to further build on Maddie's training with e-collar training and more obedience. I can't begin to thank Diana enough for all that she's done for us and for our chonk. Diana is super awesome and an amazing trainer. She provides you with the guidance that you need. She's always available if you ever need help with anything or need clarification on any homework assignments she leaves you with before the next training session. My spouse and I highly recommend Diana for any training your pup may need or if you would like to add more building blocks to your dog's training. Diana is amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend her to any pet parent. She's simply the best! Oh, and her dog, Moose, is awesome too!

With my wife nearly six months pregnant, I needed these dogs 1000% ready to protect our expanding family. I invested heavily in this business in good faith, paying over $17,000 upfront within a 2-to-3-week window. The owner initially honored a 45-day grace period for the next installment due to our upcoming child. However, despite holding my dogs for months, the business completely failed to deliver on the contract, leaving Gus with zero training progress and severe, unaddressed toy aggression. The lack of training is only overshadowed by a shocking incident of gross negligence. While my dogs were in his care, the owner was arrested by law enforcement for a criminal property damage incident (popping tires). I am not writing this to pass judgment on his arrest--given my own life experiences, I understand firsthand that things happen, and people go through difficult situations. Because of that understanding, I put everything aside out of genuine empathy and loyalty. I had literally sent him another $5,000 Zelle payment that exact morning to continue on with my dogs. When he called me from the scene, I rushed over within 10 minutes to secure my dogs, manage his mobile van, care for his other clients' dogs, and move his commercial vehicle to save him from a police tow. Upon bonding out, the owner called my wife, expressed his appreciation, and explicitly promised to reimburse us for the emergency veterinary costs caused by his facility's conditions. When I pulled Gus from the scene, he was in a life-threatening state. He was rushed to an emergency vet with a 104-degree fever, severe lip ulcers, and acute respiratory distress. He was officially diagnosed with severe aspiration pneumonia and remains on heavy antibiotics.Following his release, the owner came to my home and verbally agreed to return a fraction of my funds--specifically $2,929--to help cover our immediate rent and medical bills, telling me to "just remind him." I even offered to return this temporary $2,929 buffer later once his business stabilized. However, when I texted him a screenshot of the bill reflecting that exact amount of $2,929 as a reminder, his demeanor flipped. He refused to put anything in writing, deflected by bringing up an irrelevant "training academy" structure, and flatly refused to assist us.Instead of honoring his word, he chose to completely freeze us out and avoid accountability. Blaming a client or ignoring them after they saved your entire livelihood while you were detained--and after leaving their animal with life-threatening medical conditions--is entirely unacceptable.I have ironclad Zelle receipts for the $17,000+ paid, certified veterinary diagnoses and vet bills.

Tiffany watched our 3 year old cat, George, for the first time over the holiday break and we were blown away by the entire experience. I can honestly say that we will never use any other service. Here's why Tiffany is so special: 1. She is uber-professional. Like, have-a-personal-meeting-take-detailed-notes-put-everything-in-writing-licensed-and-insured-professional. This is not your friend's college kid home for the holidays. Tiffany takes time to understand what you want and need, communicate how things will work, and anticipate information she will need while you are away so she rarely needs to bother you while you are out of town. And at the same time, she is observant and has a TON of experience in this field. So if she notices something wrong, or even just something that might require your attention or a change in the way she is looking after your pet, she WILL reach out to you and keep you in the loop. 2. She is in constant contact. We received multiple photos, videos, and updates on every visit by text. No refreshing email frantically or wondering when she will be over and if your pet is ok. She updates when she is on her way, when she has arrived, and sends such adorable pics. It gave such peace of mind to see George so happy with her. Which brings me to... 3. Tiffany loves animals and she truly understands animals. She took time to approach George on his level, and to get to know his personality and play style. You cat owners out there know--not every cat plays the same or behaves the same. And not just anyone really knows how to play with cats. Tiffany does. She was able to really bring out the playful side of George! It was wonderful to see how happy and relaxed he was with her. I could keep going about how impressed I am with Tiffany and her services, but the best way for you to see is to try her yourself. Your fuzzy friend will thank you, and you'll never go anywhere else. Promise.

It became clear pretty early on that he had some intense fear/anxiety issues. He was reactive on the leash and I felt like I couldn't invite people into my home anymore. Mac had a very small circle of friends/family that he trusted and anybody new was a threat to him. I was worried about whether or not I would be able to handle him. I spent weeks reading reviews with 100 tabs open trying to find just the right person for Mac. Dave had the upmost patience with Mac and with me as well. I had so many questions and he had so many answers. While Dave is a dog trainer, most of the training was really for me--how to prepare Mac for a walk, how to walk, how to introduce new people to Mac. It has been over a year since my last visit with Dave, but Mac is still improving because of everything I learned. Last month, Mac and I went on our first pack hike. He met new people and new dogs on our own terms and he was an absolute superstar! There is still a lot of room for Mac to grow of course, but I feel like it is something I am prepared to work on. I would absolutely recommended Dave to anyone looking for help with their fur baby.
