My dog had the best time at Leelo's birthday party! Thank you for the gift bag!!…read more What other doggie daycare/boarding has dog party's? And themed events like summer camp, back to school week, Star Wars.. etc. they take such good care of the dogs!

We have brought our dogs here several times since 2021 whenever we would go out of town as well as…read morefor day care. Staff has been friendly and dogs are treated well. However, I highly suggest you read all the fine print on the contracts with the day care or you could be out a ton of money. We bought their largest day care package a couple of years back only to be told after a few visits that one of our dogs was no longer going to be allowed since he was too rough with the other dogs. Completely understandable. Since we have two dogs requiring the day care and only one was allowed, we did not see a point in keeping one dog in day care so we asked for a refund for the day care. We were told it was not allowed so they gave us "credit" that we were told we could use for any service including boarding. When we went to board our dogs this last time, they told us all of the credits expired after a year and we were unable to use any remaining credit. At no point were we told that the credit would expire. We would have used them a lot sooner if we would have known but since it was more of an "credit refund" we assumed there was no expiration date. Essentially, we lost out on hundreds of dollars and paid for services that were never rendered. Their policies and lack of customer service are why I do not recommend this place. Additionally, the "sorry, too bad," shrugged shoulders type of response from the manager left a very sour taste in our mouths. She did offer us $70 bucks off our $700 boarding total, but after losing the several hundreds of dollars on the day care that was never used, it was very off putting.

Petco Will Take Your Money -- But They Certainly Don't Support Animals or the Community…read more What I witnessed at the Petco at 3511 N Salida Ct near Tower was beyond unacceptable. A volunteer who had driven six hours to safely deliver a foster dog was harassed, stalked, and treated like a criminal in Petco's parking lot -- not by police, not by staff, but by an aggressive Front Range Patrol guard Petco thinks represents their brand. Instead of showing even minimal respect for rescue work or basic human decency, Petco allowed this guard to escalate, monitor, and threaten someone who was literally helping save an animal. When I arrived to pick up the foster, he immediately went hostile, raised his voice at me, and acted like a routine dog exchange was some kind of crime. The message from Petco was loud and clear: You can give them your money -- but don't expect them to support animals, rescues, or the community in any meaningful way. For a company that markets itself as a champion of animal welfare, their actions say the opposite. Allowing aggressive, unnecessary confrontation toward rescue volunteers shows a complete lack of compassion, oversight, and responsibility. Petco should be embarrassed. The behavior they have authorized make it painfully obvious they care about only 1 thing, your money.

They have an option for dogs who don't like loud noises, so they get to stay in the "orange room" side of the hotel. And while my dogs are always a little nervous when I drop them off, they always seem calm and happy when I pick them up. I haven't asked in about 6 months, but 6 months ago they didn't have a groomer on staff. I wish they did. But they still have LOTS of add on options for your dog's stay. I always like to order mine a doggy ice cream sundae for their last day. So now by this time, I'm hoping they know that "when they get an ice cream sundae, that means they'll get to go home that same day." And I love that they email (and add to the app) pictures of your dogs, one for every day they are there (at least!). *I use Wag when I travel on a plane, otherwise, it's not ideal for me to travel all the way out there. **Also LOVE that it is 24 hour pick up. That is not common! Thanks for always making my dogs' stay a great experience.

We've been comings to M&P for the last 2 years and are happy with the services here. Our dog has…read moresome anxiety and doesn't like his front paws being touched so he gets those "scared shakes" but he does well with the groomers here. We usually just get our dog's nails trimmed and purchase the occasional snack or dog food for him. He especially enjoys the treats after his pedicure! Unfortunately, the last few visits (maybe the last 2-3 months) he's been yelping and right at the start of the trim. We keep our visits every 4-6 weeks so we know his nails are not overgrown and he's a very active cattle dog. Alisha(sp?) explained the yelp was because his front paws were sensitive.. We also tried to clarify we wanted his nails grinded but she said they do both grind&clip, which was confusing. Only negative complaint was that this groomer smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Everyone is entitled to their hobby/habit, but maybe suggest putting a jacket over & taking off before going back to work, or a perfume to try to cover it up?
