Even after explaining the situation, they said they had a 5 min grace period and could not see me, and that they were scheduling out months. I went to the car and cried. With my appointment 2 days away, the office receptionist called and let me know I could not be seen unless I already had 3-4 positive tests for a UTI from other professionals. Not only is that costly and wasteful, UTI's are a very painful occurrence and what this office asks for is so unethical to make a patient go to a different doctor or urgent care multiple times to obtain these samples incurring loads of additional costs each time when it makes more sense to see the professional urologist to treat the condition. Not only is the policy extremely unhelpful for patients, the office receptionist was so condescending in her treatment of me on the phone. She is extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and obnoxious in how she spoke to me. After reading other reviews on here I see I am not alone in not recommending this office. Other reviewers also commented on the front office receptionist staff and the same bullying and power trip behavior that I experienced from the nasty woman that called me this morning to revoke my appointment that I desperately needed. And if you're reading reviews and people are giving doctors bad reviews because of their staff and the people who answer the phone, then that is not a fair review of the doctor because many of these doctors work for big groups and they can't control who the hospital group hires for staffing. Also keep in mind. This doctor is highly specialized in what she does. She's not your typical gynecologist. She's not here just for a routine Pap smear or to prescribe hormones for menopause. She is highly trained and specialized in doing procedures and surgeries for uro- gynecological needs which is a highly specialized area of medicine that is needed.
