I booked an appointment, was called 2 days before it, was told it had to be canceled because the provider was unavailable, and when I asked about rescheduling before the end of the year was told "I could call" their other office (in Melbourne) and try to get in there. So I did, but that's a story for another review (yikes!). Ended up back at this location for my cleaning after going to Melbourne, leaving frustrated, and driving back to this location to see about availability (in person). I came to this dentist because I needed a tooth pulled. I was given X-Rays first. After my X-Rays…read morewere finished, I was seen by a female dentist, though I can't remember her name right now. She examined my X-Rays, and then she examined my entire mouth. She indicated that my tooth was infected, and she explained that the excruciating pain that I was experiencing was caused by this infection. I made sure to tell her that I was a sensitive case, and that I might need extra numbing because of my tooth sensitivity. I shared this with her because I was told this by another dentist in the past. She immediately said that she refused to see me for my tooth abstraction, and that I would need to see an oral surgeon that she was going to refer me to, in order for them to preform my tooth extraction. She then wrote me a prescription for antibiotics, but she did not write me a prescription for pain medicine. Which I thought was very cruel. After I got home, I was in so much pain that I called the office again, and I pleaded with them to give me something for the pain I was experiencing. The office staff just told me that the antibiotics would start relieving the pain in a few days, and they suggested that I take Advil for the pain in the mean time. At that point in time my tooth that was causing the pain was literally gone and there was only left what was below the gums. It was clear that the dentist on staff knew how much pain I was in because she saw the X-Rays, she also examined all of my teeth in my mouth. She even went on to explain that she could SEE the infection, and that the infection was causing me the excruciating pain that I was experiencing! Given all of this, you would think that she would prescribe me something for the PAIN, but she refused, and to be honest with you, I found this to be truly disturbing display of cruelty.

Now, as I happily chomp down on my favorite rosemary lamb loin from Wal-Mart (trust me, just try it!) for dinner tonight, I reflect on the incredible experience I had with this unparalleled dental practice.  Moving down to Cocoa Beach from NYC at the start of the pandemic in March, I was absolutely terrified of going to any medical office for any reason. After a pesky toothache progressed into full-blown, sleepless agony radiating throughout my jaw on a Friday night, I began to frantically google for a local emergency dentist. Fortunately, I stumbled across Dr. Gary Nawrocki. Even though his office is closed on the weekends, he called me on his cell phone and was SO kind, thoughtful, and helpful, giving me useful advice before he could fit me in on Monday morning. During our appointment, he quickly and literally got to the "root" of my problem, and I felt both relieved and empowered to begin  a treatment plan that would address years of neglected dental issues. For the first time, I felt like I had found a dentist that didn't simply "spot treat" me; rather, he gave me a thorough examination to prevent any similar, painful problems from arising in the future.  Dr. Nawrocki isn't just a highly capable, skilled expert in his field, but he's also truly one of the very best doctors I have EVER known. He's a master of all things dental: fillings, root canals, crowns, extractions, implants, veneers, TMJ... you name it -- this place is a one-stop shop for ALL of your dental needs. (And, yep, I had just about all of the aforementioned services performed, and I could not be happier with everything!) Dr. Nawrocki is also just an all-around great human being. His love of Crossfit and model trains makes him even cooler in my book! (Wait 'til you see the awesome mural and layout in his office!).  His staff is, hands-down, my favorite medical staff of any practice, anywhere. Lina, Theresa, Michelle, and Shannon and co. are professional, friendly, and welcoming -- they truly make you feel like family. I'm as comfortable in their dental chair as I am in my own recliner at home, and I owe that to more than the fact the chairs have built-in massagers and excellent neck support -- it's also the environment that the incredible staff has created for the patients. I was completely blown away by my fellow New Yorker Lina, an employee with beauty and brains and a true talent for the incredible work she does. Amongst the many things she did for me, including easing my anxieties with her wonderful words, she crafted me a life-changing NTI-tss while I waited for my custom night guard. If I was ever stranded on a desert island, that NTI would be one of the things I'd hope to have with me! Walking away from my dental work the past few months, I feel like a queen. And no, not because my mouth is full of crowns, but because I can smile completely pain-free, and with full, unabashed vanity.  Even if I returned to NYC for good, I would fly back to Nawrocki Dental for a routine cleaning or filling. Or, hey, I'd even come back just to hang out with them! I'm not saying I'm going to stop flossing, but I really would look forward to coming to the office. Never thought I'd say that about a dentist's office, but I am telling you the the tooth.... I mean, the TRUTH:)

She referred me to an endontist for two root canals and gave me an appointment for two crowns afterwards to the tune of $6000+. Aside from sticker shock, I was uncomfortable doing that since they hadn't been able to see the problem on xray. Dr. Nawrocki has been our dentist since we moved to Cocoa Beach 13 years ago. I called him to get his opinion. He immediately called in a prescription for an antibiotic and advised me to let him know if that helped. 3 days later the pain was gone, so he said I could wait until I got back. 2 weeks later his x ray showed a large abscess on one tooth. 2 weeks and 1 root canal after that the problem was solved and I have two beautiful new crowns for 2/3 of the price I was quoted in Wisconsin. I'm so grateful to Dr. Nawrocki and his staff for their excellent care!

The first thing I noticed was the staff, and how they treat both each other and the patients like family. Dr Hahn sat with me and developed an extensive care plan on what I needed, and it included cost and option's. I've just finished my 9th visit, and the quality of the work is simply remarkable.
