The facility was bright, clean and welcoming. The staff is knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Dr. Scott made a very good impression. He explained not only what treatment I would require, but why and what I should expect regarding post treatment. He had an excellent sense of my concerns and did not hesitate to assure me before beginning treatment. Ericka, his assistant was very calming and was mindful of my comfort. The total approach to providing care was exceptional. I am very pleased with the service I received from Dr. Scott and his dental team. I already had a bad taste in my mouth with my other dentist (I didn't mean to make that pun but... Dr. Scott will like that one - haha) so, he sure had his work cut out for him. Dr. Scott started off with some jokes why was this important? I was NERVOUS. The jokes helped. Next, he did the most important part (something the other dentist refused to do)... HE LISTENED TO ME. He was kind and he took my pain seriously. He did another root canal and as root canals go, this wasn't as painful as I had braced myself for. When the procedure was finished, I was escorted to the door like I mattered and then, after a few days, a key staff member named, Rita called and checked on me. She didn't act like it was her job or that calling me was a hassle. Rita wanted to know my level of pain (I was doing great) and asked if I needed any further help. I know that no one wants a root canal but, if you have to have one... you might as well go to the specialist the first time. Rita can also give you recommendations on other dentists for cleanings etc (she recommended Dr. Rawley for my needs and I LOVE him too) ---- I know I was a difficult patient. Dr Isler is terrific! Gentle and I have never thought I would say this, but what a gifted doctor. Dr Isler has state of the art equipment and really makes the procedure painless. Yes, there's a slight pinch when the Novocain starts, but Dr Isler has some sort of state-of-the-art equipment that instead of needing more like 5 shots, there is only one! I was instantly out of pain from an abscessed tooth that was just really so unfathomable I could not even sleep for 2 days prior to this procedure. I hate to admit this, but I have had root canal treatment years ago and I remember the past being just a long, painful experience that went on for hours. Well, Dr Isler, some magical way got TWO done in less than 35 minutes!!!! That's insane!!!! Not only that, but I walked away FREE of all the misery I had been in before the procedure[s]. I mentioned to Dr Isler that he must be some kind of brilliant magician to make this such a PLEASANT and PAINLESS experience. So I get the referral, called the referral dentist, and they don't do the work either. Casto's office just wanted the referral fee and WASTED MY TIME to do it. Never will I go to this office again.
