Dr. Hoy and his staff are amazing, kind, caring, gentle, and patient (all qualities I look for in a dentist office). I had the first step in a process to place an implant in my mouth. As a result of super unpleasant experiences with dentists as a child in the 50's and 60's, I am always anxious about dentist visits. Dr. Hoy and his assistant are top-notch professionals and calmly and reassuringly cared for me throughout the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Hoy and Vero Smiles, especially for more difficult and technical dental work.

I like a certain level of care and I "shop" around, if you will. With that being said, Reiner Family Dental fell in my lap in a form of an ad in the mail. It felt like a sign from above. I immediately called to set an appointment as a new patient, easy peasy process and I was seen within 2 weeks. The office is so esthetically pleasing that you have to see it for yourselves to understand what I am referring to. The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Siera is very knowledgeable and seems like an all around an awesome person. My dental hygienist, I forgot her name, clearly loves what she does. She has given me throughly instructions on the care of my teeth and I am one happy client! I can wholeheartedly say that I found myself a dental practice that I will be looking forward to going for clean ups and further dental care. If you haven't gathered by now, I highly recommend Reiner Family Dental! Thank you for your service and care

I already had a bad taste in my mouth with my other dentist (I didn't mean to make that pun but... Dr. Scott will like that one - haha) so, he sure had his work cut out for him. Dr. Scott started off with some jokes why was this important? I was NERVOUS. The jokes helped. Next, he did the most important part (something the other dentist refused to do)... HE LISTENED TO ME. He was kind and he took my pain seriously. He did another root canal and as root canals go, this wasn't as painful as I had braced myself for. When the procedure was finished, I was escorted to the door like I mattered and then, after a few days, a key staff member named, Rita called and checked on me. She didn't act like it was her job or that calling me was a hassle. Rita wanted to know my level of pain (I was doing great) and asked if I needed any further help. I know that no one wants a root canal but, if you have to have one... you might as well go to the specialist the first time. Rita can also give you recommendations on other dentists for cleanings etc (she recommended Dr. Rawley for my needs and I LOVE him too) ---- I know I was a difficult patient. I contacted this dentist because my initial research pointed to their "compassionate" manner. I was disappointed by some of the answers to my questions, so I recognize it was not an easy call for her - but it was her use of the word "honey", and it's accompanied tone of voice, that lost my business. I am finding every option to leave reviews so the dental practice management can address this. Had this not occurred, I would have made an appointment after grumbling a little about redoing x-rays and other administrative items - and I have at least $5-$10k of dental work that needs to be performed, along with my husband's dental care. You all blew it. The front desk is your entry to patient care.

I'm new to Vero Beach and spent months trying to find a dental office that accepted my insurance…read more My first stop was a well‑known local practice. After a long visit -- multiple X‑rays and over two hours in the chair -- I was told I had periodontal disease. This was alarming, especially because I've always kept up with cleanings every six months, and my previous dentist of many years had never seen any signs of gum disease. Before I could even process the diagnosis, I was passed between several coordinators trying to schedule periodontal scaling and root planing with an out‑of‑pocket cost of over $500. I asked my former dentist to call them for a peer‑to‑peer discussion, but they refused. Shortly after, I received a letter stating they could no longer see me as a patient because I "did not trust their judgment." Being told I had a serious condition -- and then being dismissed when I asked reasonable questions -- was a major red flag. Once you're labeled a periodontal patient, you can't return to regular cleanings, so it's not a diagnosis to take lightly. Thankfully, I found Harbor Point Dental Care. My experience here was the complete opposite. Their exam was straightforward, honest, and thorough -- and I was told I do not have periodontal disease. The cleaning was excellent, the office is spotless with modern equipment, and every staff member I interacted with was kind, ethical, and professional. I won't name the first office, but I will say this: always advocate for yourself. If something feels off, get a second opinion. I'm grateful I did. Harbor Point Dental Care has earned my trust, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality, ethical dental care in Vero Beach.
