Installation scheduled ALOT sooner than I expected (less than a week!)! Installed in less than a day... a cold house in July is a great thing! About Mike: Knowledgeable. Personable. Friendly. Professional. Competent. Meticulous. He took the time to explain things. He took the time to do things correctly (like sealing openings he made for the various pipes and connections). I would highly recommend him. My place is a pre-manufactured home... not alot of the companies work on those. To counter some of the negative reviews I saw: he is a small business owner and a family man. He is allowed to take family vacations once in awhile. He has always kept me updated on the status of my install. I will be using him again, and recommending him to everyone I know.

They were able to find a new board on Thursday morning and installed it at 10AM. We can not say enough about the level of service as well as knowledge of the unit. Mark and Nick at Armor were genuinely concerned about our access to heat and due to two space heaters, we were able to stay at home and made our Christmas dinner. I recently built a house that uses Vastola Heating & Cooling as one of the subcontractors. I'm…read moreborderline impressed with the work that they did. I'll explain... The duct work is pretty clean looking and streamlined. With my house being a new build, I suppose you'd expect that the temperature would be comfortable with little wasted energy, but in many respects this is a testament to the quality furnace and duct work Vastola did install. Moreover, the humidifier does a bang up job as well. I'm was a little disappointed about a service call I had to make after we moved in. Our dryer is vented from the laundry room on the second floor to the side of the house, not the roof. Therefore, Vastola ran the vent across the joists of the attic floor. When I finally had a chance to get into the attic to store some things, I noticed the overwhelming smell of dryer exhaust. I checked out the vent and noticed it had come unattached from the outside wall. We called Vastola about the issue, and they came out to fix it, however, they were really defensive when they did so, almost as if they were accusing us of deliberately sabotaging our own dryer vent, which of course is ridiculous. I love dryer vents and would never do anything to harm one of them.

That my A/C mount was different and requited a special size. Bullshit. I went to S-S Electrical (on Seneca St), bought an A/C fan motor with the same specs as my old one, and changed it out myself for $200. Problem solved.
