I've seen this place for as long as I can remember, but normally only partake in cigars when gifted or with somebody more knowledgeable in the experience. Recently, I was gonna get a gift for a family member and decided to stop in and lean on their expertise in the selection process. Straight out of the gates, I know I love this place with a warning sign, letting potential thieves, know that both patrons and employees may be carrying. The iconic wooden statue out front and even better the big brass antique register up front. Now I don't know much about what they had going on there, but I can tell you I have quite a feeling this is a gem of a shop and being there about 15 years as I was told it seems that they have a great customer base Steered towards some pipe tobacco they gave me the option of bulk or more bespoke tins. Where are the tins go for multiple times the price of the standard bulk. They could've easily taken one look and up sold me to something five times the price but instead they recommended something that they would smoke a fraction of the price. Great place great people great value come and support it if it's your thing and if it's not your thing, it might be someone else's close to you

Another red flag that I experienced is being charged $17.99 for a $16.99 cigar. When your markup is already %70 more than retail, there has to be a presumed customer benefit to coming here over others. Especially when you take selection into mind.

It's still in its construction phase, but there's something enticing about watching a place come into its own. Stepping through the door drops you right into the humidor--a warm, fragrant embrace. We lingered there for a few minutes before anyone appeared, and just when I wondered if we'd slipped in unnoticed, a speakeasy-style door swung open. I have to admit... the mystery of that was a little thrilling. The host greeted us with easy charm, talked cigars with my husband before inviting us to explore the lounge upstairs. The room had rows of deep chairs, TVs playing and gentlemen chatting. BYOB is always a plus--it's nice to have something smooth to sip while he enjoys his cigar. They were having an event that evening, pizza waiting outside the door. Boxes open and the pizza was cold. Unfortunately not appetizing, but that's not why you come to a cigar bar. My reason for giving three stars is the winter ventilation. With the windows closed, the smoke lingers a bit too intimately. I love joining my husband at cigar lounges, but I prefer not to walk out wearing the scent like a second skin. Still, there's something intriguing about this place--the potential. I'm curious to see how it all comes together.
