I've been a customer here for a few years. I'm actually surprised I never did a review for it before. Mostly, this place is fine. Depends on who is working. Some of the people are really friendly, others are a bit standoffish. But I like buying local, and they carry my brand, so I went here to buy my juice and hardware. I had a friend of mine pick up a tank for me that it turns out I didn't need, so today I took my recipt and unopened tank back to return it. I got a weird shitty look from the lady working (a look that never left her face the whole time I was there,) and the guy working explained that they didn't take returns except for manufacturers defect. Great. I get that's your policy, but what kind of garbage policy is that? It's unopened, undamaged and can be resold. I'm pretty easy going, I vape quite a bit and I have easily spent a couple thousand dollars in that store. How is this policy taking care of your customers? I guess I wasn't expecting to get the old "too bad for you." Now I have a $50 tank I can't use and you have my $50. The last $50 you'll ever get from me. Enjoy! read more

The woman working suggested I replace my glass chamber instead of buying a whole new vape. You could've easily up-charged me and told me I needed a new one but you gave me an option which saved me a ton so I could spend my money like any normal person would on alcohol instead. This is the best vape store I've been to in the Portland Metro Area. Their selection is decent and often changing so the flavor options never get stale. The vaping equipment always seems to be updating as the industry grows, and the staff are always on top of their fame regarding explaining each item to me. Speaking of the staff, they're always helpful, polite, and have in depth knowledge of mods, RTAs, RDAs, batteries, and juice mixtures. Service is top notch. They're with you every moment of the way from the initial greeting, to the taste testing, to the assembly of the kits. Be aware: Due to new laws you can no longer bring in friends under 21. That law totally sucks but they have to follow it regardless. They have a taste testing service that charges about .10 cents for unlimited testing I think. Again, best store in the PDX. read more

I was ordering "e-cigarettes" from the web until I stumbled upon Division Vapor. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the flavor buffet - you can try flavors right there! Based on my likes and dislikes, the owner (and other customers) helped me zero in on the flavors that are right for me. And I found some great ones! (Right now I am liking the Chilly Peach and Hazelnut Cappuccino) There are a many ways to heat these flavors. The owner helped me zero in on a battery and e-juice holder which has been working great. After a while, I wanted more of a throat hit, so he taught me about lower resistance coils. I feel like each time I go back I learn a little more about this world beyond "e-cigarettes" - a world I didn't even know existed. At the core of Division Vapor I sense an honesty and willingness to help - similar to a great mechanic. I live in SE off 32nd Ave. This place is in my neighborhood and most of the guys are really helpful. Several weeks ago I was quoted 44.99 for 120ml bottle of cloud 9 Ejuice. Went in today to purchase a bottle as I am low on liquid. Guy ends up charging me 49.99. My curiosity of the price led me to look at cloud 9's website. I can get the same 120 ml bottle for 39.99 with free 3 day shipping in Portland. Take this review for whatever it's worth. I'd shop around in my opinion and will do for my next bottle. Probably won't be back due to fluctuation in pricing. When I write a review I try to think about my experience for a day or two. If I still have a fuzzy feeling then i will give a 4 or 5 star rating. This is my first 5 star review. This place is awesome!! I live in Gresham so it's about a 15 to 20 minute drive for me, but it was worth it. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, and they even showed me how to rebuild a coil for a tank. I like the fact that they have tanks that you can try on your mod. They answered all of me questions and we just chatted about the vape market and what to expect in the future. It was nice not to be sold anything. I bought a tobacco clove ejuice from them, and my wife (who doesn't vape) loves the smell. She said it reminded her of maple syrup and breakfast sausage. The juice is quite yummy, I had to force myself to put it down for a while. They will probably be the place that I go to if I want to go hang out will fellow vapers. I started vaping years ago when we only had one shop in town (not giving that shady shop any shout out) and since have visited a few in SE and have been disappointed or felt unwelcomed (including the bro-shop on Hawthorne). I started to shop online for my vaping needs because of this, but since visiting Division Vapors I haven't looked back. They carry many lines of premium liquids and you can try all of them. Their set up is grab a clean tip, grab a mod/battery stick, screw on any juice filled tank, and vape your brains out. A brick and mortar vape shop in my neighborhood! Much rejoicing was had when I happened to walk by this place and spot the rows of juice on the shelves. They had tons of flavors out for testing, and they were super nice guys. No pretentious vape shop workers here! I tried about 5 different juices and settled on a Caramel Cookie. It was lovely! There are a bit pricy compared to online prices, however, you get the advantage of trying before buying. I think it's worth it. My boyfriend and I came in looking for a vape pen. We are newbies to vape pens and have never bought one for ourselves. When we walked in we were greeted by all three of the gentlemen working. Since we are new we really didn't know much about flavors or the different styles of pen that were offered. One plus is that they have a tasting station with clean tips to attach to the pen. I travel to OR almost every week, and didn't have time to go to my usual spot in CA before I left home. So, being an avid yelper, I looked online as I was at the airport...and my first mission was to get to this shop before they closed. Well, I got there and the door was locked....I was bummed... Then Paul came up to the door as I was walking away. He explained that they were closed on Mondays for inventory (but will start being open on Mondays soon), and asked if it was an emergency. I told him I didn't have any vape juice left and was as from out of town. Well, not only was he kind and conscientious and made an exception for me, but the other gentleman was so patient, allowing me to try several juices and never once made me feel like I was imposing! This, my dear friends, is how a real business gets, and KEEPS customers!! I bought 3 juices, and walked out filled with gratitude and respect for this business, and know where to go now when I'm in this area! We have so many vape shops in San Diego, and most of them are filled with know-it-all, wannabe cool guys, or skanky girls. (Except Cloud 9 in Escondido-- if you're in the northern part of San Diego, you gotta check them out!!) I am also grateful to know that there are still a few businesses who actually have integrity and good work ethics....it's something our society is seriously lacking anymore.... Came in and bought a pen. The thing broke within the first day (a ton of leakage and gurgling even after being set up by an employee). While googling to fix the problem, I realized that this shop charges twice the normal online cost of the product ($35 vs $70--- huge difference). I called about the situation and was told that I'm out of luck (regardless of purchasing only yesterday). Best Vape shop in town by far. Best pricing that I have found yet. They let you try out any juice in the store before purchasing. They have yet to not have any piece or part that I've needed. Great location & very knowledgeable staff! Matt deserves a raise & truly kicks ass!! He alone keeps me coming back! Just have to add to my review after several less than desirable visits. Enough with the pretentious attitude from most of the staff, except Matt with the dreads. It's a vape shop, it should be chill & inviting. Most of the staff really does not reflect that attitude at all, again except for Matt. I just don't get the attitude & superiority complex that comes from most of the staff. It is very off putting & has me looking at other shops. Not like there is a shortage of vape shops to spend my hard earned money at. You probably don't care to lose one customer, but hopefully I can at least influence one other potential customer. Spend your money elsewhere where they might actually appreciate it. I had done a search for e-cigs in the Portland area, and came across Division Vapor. I have been on e-cigs for almost 10 years and bought them online and up until a few years ago went through True Vapor in Clackamas. True Vapor folded up so that left me trying to find the parts I needed for the HV8,which by the way, is no longer around either. Since my older one was non replaceable I decided to pick a new one up. Steve, I believe he said his name was showed me 2 e-cig kits. First was the EVOD. It was kind of husky for an e-cig, but I was looking for a good vapor and battery use. He let me try the EVOD with the juice from their testing counter. He asked which juice I would prefer to try the e-cig with and I told him no mint flavors just generally a tobacco tasting one. He suggested Black Honey Tobacco. He put cartridge in and the vapor that came out of it....was UNBELIEVABLE!! I told him I loved the flavor and still liked the e-cig even though it was bulky looking. He then showed me the eRoll e-cig. It looked more like a cigarette, I could not make up my mind, as there was the charging case that came with the e-roll and it is something that I can take out and about. He never pressured me into buying, so I told him, I loved the EVOD and eRoll, and decided on both. The EVOD to generally use at home. I also ended up picking up a bottle of the Black Honey Tobacco as well. Before I finished my transaction with him, he also showed me how to fill up each of the e-cigs and changing the ecoil in each unit. This made even a better shopping experience, as he wanted to make sure I knew how to refill, recharge and changing the coil unit. He did this without any rush and was very patient. In those cold, lonely times when the only place to find quality vaping products was online, THIS was exactly the sort of store I wished existed in my neighborhood. There's no throwaway junk to sift through, no parsing reviews to figure out whether the description of a juice flavor is accurate, and best of all no waiting for shipping! This is a mellow little neighborhood shop where they know the technical details for the experienced vaper, but don't feel like they have to prove it to everybody that walks in looking for a beginner's kit. There is ZERO pressure...I spent probably three liquid-only visits considering/discussing upgrading my aging equipment, and was never pressed to pick something NOW. (When I finally did, they unboxed it for me to show me how to assemble/disassemble/clean/fill this specific model.
