The only reason I'm not giving this place less than 2 stars is because I'm nice and don't want to fuck over a small business. Since, someone else has already given a 2 star review, I will do the same, even if I think they deserve less. I'm not a Karen... just a nice guy who wants some normal treatment. The customer service here is super annoying, especially in the era of coronavirus. I get the rules in place, but they were quite rude about how far we were supposed to stand and how many people were allowed to be inside. Look, if you're scared of getting covid19, just close your shop. Otherwise, treat your customers with some respect. I am willing to appease to your restrictions. Some normal cordiality is the least of expectations. We're not talking about Charles Dickens here. Also, I think part of good customer service is empathy, which they lacked. They were treating me like I'm some Oliver Twist. My driver's license expired in the middle of coronavirus, and I had no means of getting it renewed because the DMV, a state-level government agency was closed. Sometimes, it's okay to use common sense. I'm in my early thirties. Just take my money. I want to give it to you. I'm not a damn minor. I would likely not return due to shitty service and shitty attitude. They don't have that great of a selection either. I was straightforward and honest about my expired license. It's no one's fault I couldn't get it renewed. It's their fault for providing shitty customer service. In fact, if they just politely refused by apologizing, I would have been better off. They play some great music one time they were playing some nice chill trance another time they were playing some quality 90's hip hop. Absolute trash. The countless amounts I've tried to come into the store only to find a sign saying "Will return : .... " I FINALLY get a chance to try it out to only be disappointed. I should've known from the tone of voice over the phone that the "Gentleman " would've been a total douche. Their selection of juice? Oh yeah, their house juice taste like it comes from a gas station. That's all they have btw. The kind that gives you a headache. Either they use the excuse of "Covid" to not let you smell before you buy or, they're so hungry for money that they want you to walk out with it. The guys were super helpful and unlike vape shops I've been to, they didn't act cocky when I asked an uneducated question. They make their own juice 70/30 vg/pg and you get a choice of nicotine strength. Overall was amazing ,the hours are pretty flexible as well. read more

I very much like Atomize, it is my go to store for all of my vaporizing needs. They carry quality products, both vaporizers and fluid for such, and at very affordable prices. I would give the store itself, about 3.5 stars, the service is why I am giving it 5 stars. I go there on Tuesday evenings, and the person who helps me out, (I am embarrassed that I do not know his name,) is super helpful and knowledgeable, about everything they have in stock. Let me go into when they are "out of stock." I like a flavor that is not terribly popular, they carry it, but also run out of it on occasion. The cool attendant has always had a good suggestion, for an alternate flavor I might like. One week, when they were out of clove, he mixed an alternate up for me. He then told me that if I wasn't happy with it, I could return it and get something else. Again this week, I had the same experience, and the same person mixed me up another flavor, that I rather enjoy. So to summarize: I would give the shop 3.5-4 stars, but I give it 5 stars, because of their amazing service. Update: I have been going to this shop for over 2 years now since my first review, and they still fail to disappoint. I would give them 6 stars if I could, because the people and the service is beyond top notch. Further Update: They sell CBD E-fluid, flavored however you like if your willing to wait over night. I think it works well. I vape it, I remain clear headed, but I get very relaxed, kind of like 30% of my standard issue anxiety just floated away. $40 for 500mg $55 for 1000, and take into consideration that the base cost for the E-fluid is $11. read more

I have been to many stores around Portland. Yes everyone is pretty chill at a vape store. I'm in love with their product. They have fully customizable juice that they mix while you wait if you want. Out of all the juice I have tried from different places and the Internet theirs is my favorite. I also appreciate that they don't try and "sell" you. Ask for what you want and they will get it without trying to get you to upgrade to the latest vape equipment. Excellent customer service and I am a customer for as long as we both shall live :). This is the ONLY store I go to now for any of my nicotine salt and/or vape needs! It's convenient because it's in an area a vape store wouldn't normally be for miles, and I live close by :) THE SERVICE IS FANTASTIC! So, last summer I walked to the store to buy 2 vapes and switch to salts and when I got to the store I was overheating, super sweaty and thirsty (it was really hot out), and upon arriving the employee went and grabbed me some water, and then got a fan from the back and placed it on the counter so that I could cool down while I shopped :) I was so impressed by that extra mile went to make sure I was comfortable as a customer and a person :) All my questions I had were answered easily and kindly, and they were patient with me taking time to decide. Also they make their salts and juices...in house? I think? Or they're local at least-don't quote me in the details but I only but local so one of the two :) Every time I've gone in there's a friendly face working, and no ones going to shove unnecessary purchases down ur wallet like all the damn smoke shops do *eye roll*. Atomize is by far the best vape shop in Portland. As far as the vapor stores I have experienced, it is also the best vape shop in the country (having been to 25+ other shops in Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Ohio). I've received over the top, spectacular customer service and the prices on juice are the best I've ever seen at a physical store ($10 per 30 ml bottle). Not only that, Ryan is happy to help anyone create their own flavor and he has created a variety of distinct, excellent flavors to choose from. Also, he is probably one of the more patient people I have met, which comes in handy if your setup needs a bit of work, as mine often does. I've seen Ryan do absolutely whatever it takes to get my vapor and the vapors of other customers back in good working order. He is extremely knowledgeable. Furthermore, this is a vape shop that understands the crossover between marijuana and electronic cigarettes. There is a decent selection of high quality glass and a superb selection of various electronic devices to smoke weed. Atomize even tries to help out people in the community -- one example is how the shop features a unique, local artist that is able to make a few bucks by selling their art to vapor customers on the walls at Atomize. I have also seen this shop put in a great deal of work in remodeling and perfecting the interior design. When I walk in the door, there is definitely a certain vibe that makes me feel right at home. I have no complaints whatsoever. If you want good quality juice and equipment at the very best price with the customer service to match, go to Atomize. It is worth going out of the way for. Was looking for a LOW COST pipe and came across Atomize. Not only were their pipes VERY reasonably priced but one of the owners was a delight. He was helpful, nice, and extremely nice to talk to.The pipe I got is amazing; not only is it thick as it gets for $20 but it has beautiful colors as well. It takes me normally about 2 weeks to break my pipes but since this one is so thick I think I might go 2 months without breaking it. The store has amazing local art and local glass blowers pieces. Terrible, do these guys wanna stay in business? Some guy behind the counter knew nothing about the vape pens, he went to get somebody else who supposedly knew about them. I waited there for a long long time looking at stuff and nobody came out. I left after about 15 minutes. Don't bother waisting your time or gas going to this place, they're having a hard time figuring it out. Really annoying, just say you're closed if nobody is able to be of assistance. read more

Cool place. I've only been here once and it was just to pick up a couple bottles of liquid, but the guy working there was really nice and the two bottles he recommended were absolutely fantastic.
