I wasn't as happy with the vape pen, but that was my fault - those things never last. I just wanted immediate relief. Next time I'll go with a tincture. I, once again, made it clear that he was invading my personal space (I quite literally could smell his body odor and apparent lack of dental hygiene) to which he responded irate and began berating me. He then began complaining about how every customer says that and people need to learn decency and how everyone these days is coddled, etc etc etc. This time I responded in kind letting him know that he had crossed a boundary and it's not okay to stand in someone's personal space and stare at them. At this point he became unhinged and started yelling at me, calling me a piece of shit and an asshole and that it was "my punishment" that I was no longer allowed to purchase anything in "his" store.... I showed my old vape to Marcus, and told him I wanted something similar that my atomizer could fit. Also that though I'd been vaping a mod that long, it had been the first I'd ever gotten, so I might have some sort of beginner questions. Like if the atomizer would fit. LOL. Marcus picked out two possibles, and after a few questions, he fitted me up with a Geekvape L200. It was the more expensive (not by a huge amount), but he assured me it was the most durable of the two. That was a major factor for me, so I grabbed it. I'm really loving it after only two days. About the same weight as my old one, but a little more compact - fits my hands better. Fires nicely, good taste with the HW-M coils I have - I think a better taste, actually, than in the old - a nice readable screen, easy to get started with it. Great on the child lock and battery cover. Changing batteries is easier, and I like the 2-battery format. Plus uses easily-found 18650s, instead of a 21700 battery. The charges last much longer than in my old mod. Don't get me wrong, I loved it too, but the L2000 is a good step up. Well padded, sleek-looking, and built like a tank. As someone relatively new to pipe smoking, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the hospitality and expertise I found there exceeded anything I could have hoped for. The highlight was meeting a gentleman with decades of deep experience in tobacco blends, pipes, and accessories. Some say he might even be Rich himself. He is the creator of Bill's Blend--a truly majestic aromatic tobacco that is immediately alluring the moment you catch its scent. He took me under his wing, patiently sharing knowledge about selecting the right blend, matching it to a pipe, and choosing useful accessories. His guidance was practical, insightful, and delivered with genuine enthusiasm for the craft. Beyond the tobacco talk, he shared stories from his days riding Harleys and the people he'd helped along the way. Those conversations added a personal, down-to-earth warmth that made the whole visit feel welcoming rather than purely transactional. The shop's atmosphere matched that spirit--friendly, unhurried, and focused on helping customers find what truly suits them. I left with an excellent Peterson pipe and a selection of aromatic blends that are especially appealing. Everything about the experience--from the quality of the products to the generous hospitality--made it clear why this place stands out.
