When he moved his practice North I didn't want to drive that far. That was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I have been back with him for three years now and would fly to another State if I had to. He is that good. Trust me you would not be disappointed. I have had all of my family move over to him. He never rushes. He is so dedicated to his patients. This past year I was very sick and I remember Dr. Goff saying to me: My job is to keep you alive. What Doctor do you know where if you are sick and you need him he will respond. His office staff is very friendly and Stacy she is the best of the best. She is loving and caring as well. However, the experience at the front desk during the most recent visit was very disappointing. The interaction with the reception staff -- including one staff member who appeared to be named Jeany (or a similar name) -- felt dismissive and unprofessional. Both the English-speaking and Spanish-speaking receptionists handled the situation in a manner that came across as lacking patience and compassion. This was particularly concerning because the patient is an older adult who needed some guidance with the administrative process. Healthcare environments should ensure that all patients, especially seniors, are treated with dignity, patience, and respect. It is my sincere hope that the doctor or clinic management becomes aware of this concern and reviews how patients are treated at the front desk, so that future patients receive the support and professionalism they deserve.

I've never written a review like this, but I feel an obligation to warn others…read more I was referred here by my PCP and was initially hopeful, but the intake process was one of the most traumatizing and unethical I've ever encountered in any medical setting, let alone psychiatry. The new patient packet is not fillable and contains dozens of deeply invasive, triggering, and inappropriately personal questions, including unnecessary trauma disclosures, gynecological information, and even targeted screening for borderline personality disorder before any relationship or assessment has occurred. For someone with schizoaffective disorder, addiction history, and PTSD, this was retraumatizing and made me feel like I was being filtered, not welcomed. To make things worse, their staff (especially Dee) was rude, passive-aggressive, and unhelpful. They refused to clarify the form or even respond to multiple calls and emails until the day before the form was due. I was left scrambling under emotional distress with zero support. The form also contains alarming disclaimers about substance use, threatening drug testing and care termination, with no mention of trauma-informed addiction treatment or ADA protections. When I voiced my concerns, I was completely ignored. No follow-up, no compassion, no attempt to understand the impact this had on me as a new patient asking for help. At best, this practice is outdated. At worst, it's discriminatory, ableist, and dangerously dismissive of complex mental health needs. If you are neurodivergent, have trauma, substance history, or are sensitive to psychiatric misdiagnosis, avoid this office. I canceled my appointment, and I'm glad I did.

I visited Sports Medicine Clinic of North Texas in February for a consultation for an arthroscopy…read morefor a torn meniscus. The surgeon reviewed my MRI results and decided we could move forward. I was out of town for most of the month of March but we were going to schedule surgery for early April and they wanted me to get blood work done upon my return. I received a garbled message from physician's assistant so I called back to check on status of surgery and next steps but my call went voice more than 4 times without a return call. I did receive a call back once while I was going through customs and could not pick up. But again voicemail message not clear. I then found out from my insurance company that the surgery was denied because the insurance company wanted me to try physical therapy first, which I will do. But again no direction from this office to move forward with PT. I am deeply concerned about the lack of communication from this office. If they did not want to take on my case, they could've had the courtesy to reach me again as I left several messages with them. I should not assume that they do not want to treat me. I know doctors' offices get busy, but lack of communication is no excuse. I chose this clinic because I tore my ACL over 25 years ago in a skiing tumble, and the surgeon I saw at this clinic encouraged me to exercise it and build my up my knee strength, which I did. He said I was coping well without the ACL and I had no instability. He advised me not to have surgery, but recommended to ski with a knee brace, which I have been doing since then. However, this torn meniscus is a bear and impacts any movement with pivoting. Not sure I will be able to ski again. I hope the lack of communication from this clinic is not happening with other potential patients and I am saddened that we could not move forward.

Dr. Uremovich is an exceptional physician. She's thorough, consistent, and deeply focused on patient care. She always prioritizes comfort and professionalism, and I would rate my experience with her a 10/10 across the board. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff has significantly declined, particularly at the front desk. Over the past year, I have repeatedly observed unprofessional behavior from the receptionist, Laura. During multiple visits, she appeared more focused on scrolling on her phone, fixing her makeup, or slicking back her hair while using her phone as a mirror: than on checking in patients or processing paperwork efficiently. On my most recent visit, I stood at the check-in window for nearly 30 seconds while she finished adjusting her hair/ blush before even acknowledging me. Additionally, the use of a personal phone in plain view of patients' personal health information is concerning and reflects a serious lapse in professionalism and discretion. While I understand that everyone has moments during the workday, this level of comfort and repeated behavior is inappropriate in a medical setting. At my last appointment, I waited 35 minutes past my scheduled time in the lobby before being informed that Dr. Uremovich had been called away over an hour earlier to deliver a baby and would not be able to see me. I fully understand and respect the nature of OB care and emergencies; however, it was frustrating that this information was not communicated sooner. I had used PTO for this appointment and drove 45 minutes to and from work to attend it. When I asked whether patients are typically contacted in advance when their physician is unavailable, I was told, "I mean, we can, but that's not something I can really control sooo...". This response lacked any accountability or basic courtesy on her end. A simple phone call would have prevented any unnecessary inconvenience or frustration. While I continue to hold Dr. Uremovich in the highest regard, the lack of professionalism and hospitality at the front desk ultimately led me to discontinue care with this office. First impressions matter, and front-office staff set the tone for the entire patient experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it would be unfortunate for other patients to be lost due to completely avoidable administrative issues.
