I have been a consistent patient of Dr. Uremovich for the past two years, and I have intentionally continued my care with her even after moving, often driving over 30 minutes to do so. Dr. Uremovich is an exceptional physician. She's thorough, consistent, and deeply focused on patient care. She always prioritizes comfort and professionalism, and I would rate my experience with her a 10/10 across the board. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff has significantly declined, particularly at the front desk. Over the past year, I have repeatedly observed unprofessional behavior from the receptionist, Laura. During multiple visits, she appeared more focused on scrolling on her phone, fixing her makeup, or slicking back her hair while using her phone as a mirror: than on checking in patients or processing paperwork efficiently. On my most recent visit, I stood at the check-in window for nearly 30 seconds while she finished adjusting her hair/ blush before even acknowledging me. Additionally, the use of a personal phone in plain view of patients' personal health information is concerning and reflects a serious lapse in professionalism and discretion. While I understand that everyone has moments during the workday, this level of comfort and repeated behavior is inappropriate in a medical setting. At my last appointment, I waited 35 minutes past my scheduled time in the lobby before being informed that Dr. Uremovich had been called away over an hour earlier to deliver a baby and would not be able to see me. I fully understand and respect the nature of OB care and emergencies; however, it was frustrating that this information was not communicated sooner. I had used PTO for this appointment and drove 45 minutes to and from work to attend it. When I asked whether patients are typically contacted in advance when their physician is unavailable, I was told, "I mean, we can, but that's not something I can really control sooo...". This response lacked any accountability or basic courtesy on her end. A simple phone call would have prevented any unnecessary inconvenience or frustration. While I continue to hold Dr. Uremovich in the highest regard, the lack of professionalism and hospitality at the front desk ultimately led me to discontinue care with this office. First impressions matter, and front-office staff set the tone for the entire patient experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it would be unfortunate for other patients to be lost due to completely avoidable administrative issues. read more

I saw Dr. Harper here for several years. She was nice. No issues. She abruptly retired to start some app. So, they switched me to Dr. Littrell. I called in September 2020 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Littrell and was told that her first available was in early April 2021. Then, in January 2021, I started getting confirmation" emails from their office with totally random dates that had never been discussed with me. After receiving the second email, I logged in to the patient portal and saw that somehow I had two appointment scheduled for late April, NEITHER of which was the date that had been scheduled with me on the phone. No one had EVER contacted me about this. The online portal wouldn't let me reschedule (what's the point of an online portal, then?), so I called their office just now to figure out what's going on. They said my early April appointment was canceled due to a surgery being scheduled. They said they had tried to call me (NOT TRUE) to reschedule but couldn't reach me (again, NOT TRUE, and they verified my number) so had just randomly scheduled me. Sorry, what? Without even contacting me?? To clarify: 1. First, you CANCELED my appointment without telling me. So, I would have taken time off work that day and showed up to your office to be told, "Oh, surprise, we canceled your appointment." Seriously?? 2. Second, you RESCHEDULED my appointment without even attempting to contact me to verify if those dates would work for me. Seriously??? Anyway, THEN they tell me that the next available appointment -- since I can't make the late April date they randomly assigned me -- is in JULY. **So, this is going on close to ONE YEAR of trying to get in for NOTHING MORE than a fricking annual obgyn visit. NOTHING complicated.** So I ask, "Is it common for Dr. Littrell to cancel appointments like this?" And literally as I'm asking this question SHE HANGS UP ON ME. I did not lose cell signal. I was sitting at a table, not moving. She fricking hung up on me. I take a deep breath and wait to see if she'll try to call me back (since she had, after all, verified that she has my correct cell phone number). No call back. So I take another deep breath and call back. No, I can't tell you to whom I was just speaking, because she never told me her name. (Smart. GET A NAME if you're on the phone with anyone here. Maybe then they won't hang up on you.) This time, after getting this next person oriented to the situation, I ask the same question about whether this is common for Dr. Littrell to cancel appointments and push you to a YEAR-LONG wait to get in to see her, and the admin has the nerve to say, "Um, well, she's a doctor, and babies come at all times, so these things happen." Um, well, I AM A DOCTOR TOO, and I understand this about obgyn practice, but I never had such insane scheduling issues with Dr. Harper. What sort of doctor thinks it's ok to make someone wait a YEAR to see them?? I don't think I need to see the most overbooked ob-gyn in Dallas to get a fricking pap smear and some birth control pills. If you're looking for BASIC ob-gyn services -- and some BASIC customer service -- look elsewhere. read more

Do NOT go here for Dr gladney. He and his nurse Erica have no regard for patient care. I left Erica FOUR voicemails and when she finally decided to call me back her response was "oh he hasn't called? I will relay your information" No help or any offer to give me advice. She "forgot" to call in my second hcg test leaving me to desperately call to get ahold of the on call doctor to get it set up since it was such a timed thing. Once I took 2 48 hour hcg tests, he didn't bother to call me back after 72 hours of having the results and after me leaving multiple messages. I will be switching providers due to this. Don't bother wasting your time especially with something as important as a child. read more

She takes time to get to know her patients, and while sometimes the office feels a bit busy, lately I feel that they've intentionally slowed things down to allow for a better patient experience. I've been seeing Dr. Paul Payne of Swiss OBGYN for about a decade. He has the best bedside manner ever, particularly for what can be uncomfortable visits and conversations for many women. I like him so much that I continue to make the trek up to Big D since moving to Austin 3 years ago! I have never had children, so I can't speak for his skills in that area - I know he delivers a LOT of babies though - but for standard and advanced care I consider him simply the best! During an annual "well-woman" exam, Dr. Payne is very patient and thorough. He asks a lot of questions and provides time to allow you to address any concerns you might have. He willingly takes a sort of whole body approach to your TOTAL wellness - above and beyond what you would expect from an OBGYN and actually much more so than any PCP I've ever had! If you're a gal in need of any such services, I cannot provide a higher recommendation...and don't be scared by his name (not Pain)...:) His nurses and office staff are stellar as well. Tips: *The Swiss Ave locale is his main office; however, he does hold hours at his Frisco location on Fridays. **At the Swiss Ave locale, there is a Quest Diagnostic center right on-site for convenient blood sampling and testing; there is a Quest in the same building one floor below the Frisco location. read more

With much prayer, his care and loving spirit, I was able to successfully bring three beautiful children into this world when I was told I wouldn't be able to. First time appointment to get my nexplanon replaced, they ordered it for me ahead of time & scheduled me once it came in. It was such a smooth process to schedule. Once I went in for the appointment the receptionist was very kind to me & so was Dr Uremovich, her nurse even allowed me to bring my partner to the back with me which made me feel so much more comfortable. They could tell I was a bit nervous & eased my anxiety so much. All of the staff was so friendly & made me feel very comfortable. The whole appointment from the time we walked in until we left didn't take more than an hour. When I was barely 18, I went to Dr. Gunby for a labiaplasty because I mistakenly thought my labia minora were abnormally large (a common insecurity among teens). He cut the dorsal nerves of my clitoris in a clitoral hood reduction performed without my consent. He denervated the glans and distal body of my clitoris and completely removed my labia minora. For laypeople who might not know what this means, it means I cannot feel cunnilingus. It means the circular movement around the clitoris that most women find pleasurable is painful (due to how the frenulum is everted and vestibule chronically exposed and thus prone to irritation, as is a noted consequence among victims of FGM). It means no one can give me an orgasm. My result is functionally equivalent to female genital mutilation involving the clitoris. I was too naive and trusting to understand the significance of what happened or that my loss of sensation was due to negligence rather than bad luck until too late to file a lawsuit. I had been a virgin at the time of my surgery and did not understand my anatomy well, so it was all very confusing. I did not understand the importance of external sensation to sexual function. I thought the sensation I lost was a small price to pay for being made to look normal (as in typical). I thought it was my fault for seeking surgery. It wasn't. After my surgery, I switched to Dr. Litrell. She said nothing to me about the obvious mutilation I had suffered. When I asked her if my surgery could have affected my sexual function, she told me it couldn't have, despite the visible scarring in my clitoral hood and completely amputated labia minora. She also reassured me I looked normal. This is especially disturbing, as I clearly do not. To this day, though other doctors have confirmed what happened to me, Dr. Gunby denies even performing a clitoral hood reduction at all. Because I have visible scars proving what he did, he insists I must have had a second surgery or done this to myself. This is despicable. It is also despicable how his colleague, Dr. Litrell, helped Dr. Gunby cover up what he did. Had I gone to a more ethical doctor after my surgery, perhaps I could have gotten justice for what was done to me. It is difficult to understand how a woman could stand by a colleague who mutilated the clitoris of a barely 18 year old girl. While what Dr. Gunby did to me, in robbing me of clitoral function, was horrific and one of the worst things you could ever do to a human being, the worst part has been his continued denial and failure to take any responsibility or apologize. Dr. Litrell's behavior has also been awful. This happened because Dr. Gunby performed a surgery he was not trained to do on anatomy he clearly didn't know well. Years ago, I asked him to please help me improve training standards to protect other patients, and he refused. Recently, I asked the OB/GYN department at Baylor to please teach the course of nerves in the clitoris. They refused to talk to me, no doubt because of Dr. Gunby's involvement. It is possible Dr. Litrell was just unfathomably ignorant of vulvar anatomy and genuinely did not see what was wrong with me. However, in recent years, both my father (plastic surgeon) and I have confronted her. We have also asked for her help getting through to Dr. Gunby. To this day, Dr. Litrell refuses to respond to me, refuses to explain herself, and refuses to stand up to Dr. Gunby. Consider how many women could be protected if his colleagues stood up to him rather than being complicit in his denial. Every OB/GYN who stands by and says nothing when a colleague mutilates a patient is guilty. read more

I have diagnosed PTSD from the c-section Dr. Littrell performed to deliver my twins, due to the way she treated me before surgery and after, and also the "conscious sedation" administered by the random anesthesiologist (Baylor won't release their name and the drugs used are not in my medical records). My daughter almost died from hypoglycemia after birth, and the NICU doctor suspected I had undiagnosed gestational diabetes. Dr. Littrell has a horrible track record of not providing adequate care, and also not following up with patients to truly help them - just read through these review postings. Best practice in Dallas! Dr. Gunby just received the TMA's Highest Honor 2017! You can search the award presentation and his acceptance speech on YouTube, but it won't let me paste the link here. All 4 doctors share a similar passion. My very successful VBAC on 4/1/17 with Gunby makes me want to have a 3rd child now, when I was set to be done after 2!... So long as Dr. Gunby is my OB! He is that amazing!!! I don't think he ever turns a mother away... He loves delivering babies SO MUCH, as you can tell by the YouTube video!! Dr. Gunby's award video below is a MUST-watch!!-- It will bring you to tears! Best doctor anywhere, hands down! My 2-year old loves Dr. Gunby and his nurse Whitney!! Brit V., who gave a bad comment above, is basically a nut-case. She already deleted the same comment from the actual Swiss Obgyn Site (I argued her unfounded comments, in detail, so she finally deleted it), and I know of enough people who witnessed her commotion in the waiting room.... Dr. Gunby had to come out to try to calm her down, because he was the only person that could take care of it at the time. She was disturbing other patients and causing so much stress to the front desk receptionists! She was calling around to MULTIPLE doctor's offices and also going crazy towards them, too (and calling other places/ hospitals)... Demanding free things (that are NEVER free). She's only mad because she is a completely irrational person. I'm trying hard to be nice and not say what I really know, but.... She is pretty "out there." And no I don't work for the office in any way, but they are one of the best in north Texas, minus maybe Dr. Cummings in Denton (also good). From my very first appointment with her, my husband and I felt at ease. I made a first prenatal appointment online including sending over all my insurance information, information about my last menstrual period and health history. The week of my appointment, I was also scheduled for a sonogram appointment. I verified both the sonogram and first pre natal appointment to arrive and be told I was "too early" and probably wanted to reschedule because she wasn't sure what my copay would be and they would not be able to do anything anyway but labs. I asked if I could at least keep my appointment to see the Dr as I have had high risk pregnancies to then be told she had to verify my insurance and it would take her "some time" to come to me after 2 minutes and tell me my copay would be $329 and my insurance was difficult. I'm not saying that the physicians are not wonderful because that is the only reason I decided to schedule with this office, but the front desk can definitely run away business. Please read reviews before deciding on services as it will save you a lot of time and trouble. If I had read reviews first, I would've continued my search for a reputable, professional office and physician to care for me and my unborn child. read more

It's been a long, long time since I've had such a poor experience at a doctor's office. I arrived early for my first appointment and filled out the many forms, including the health history/profile. The nurse called me back, sat me in a hallway, and proceeded to ask me questions that were clearly written on my health history form. Private, gynecological health questions. In a hallway. With people walking past and sitting in rooms with open doors. Then she told me that the doctor had stepped out, but she would call me when he returned. Stepped out? We did have an appointment, right? Forty-five minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I asked the receptionist if I would see the doctor soon. She said she would check and let me know. One hour and 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I was on hold with another doctor's office waiting to schedule the appointment I should have already had, when the doctor called me back. No apology or even acknowledgement of the delay. In his office, he proceeded to ask me additional history questions that I had answered on the form. Then I told him why I was there, had my five-minute exam, and left. A pelvic exam is humiliating enough without having to give a detailed medical history within earshot of the entire office and be completely disrespected by a doctor who clearly doesn't give a damn. Surely there are better physicians in this city. I'm anxious to find one. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 10:45AM, and was told upon arrival I would not be seen by the doctor because I'm "too early." I am only five weeks along, so I never asked for a sonogram. This is my first child and I wanted to make an appointment as soon as they had availability because I obviously have lots of questions. I live in Anna and drove all the way to downtown Dallas to have the woman working reception whip out a cardboard chart to determine that I'm "too early to be seen." Mind you I made my appointment with all of my information, including the start date of my last period, a week prior. All of this was received by the office and it was just incredibly unprofessional to be turned away at the desk by the receptionist, not a medical professional. I, again, didn't ask for a sonogram. I have been having irregular bleeding for a week. So I called my OB Gyne office to book an appointment and they told me they couldn't get me in since I have never been in their clinic for 3 years and the earliest available time in in November 14 since I will be treated like a new patient. So I searched the internet and came across Swiss OB Gyne. I checked on the reviews and I told myself let me give them a try as I'm just looking for a doctor who can see me the earliest possible time. When I called, I told them my symptoms and my only preference is I'm looking for a female OB Gyne. The receptionist immediately checked their schedule and booked an appointment with Dr. Litrell. I have an amazing treatment. The staff were all very nice. My nurse is very compassionate and all I can say is I'm well taken care of. Dr. Litrell took her time to discuss with me what is going on and answered all my inquiries about what I'm going through though I somehow know what it is. I'm a registered nurse myself and one thing I hate is me being the patient. I will definitely recommend this clinic to my daughter as well as my other girlfriends. read more

I love this practice! I work in the healthcare field, so I can recognize a good/bad doctor pretty fast. All 4 of these doctors at Swiss Ob Gyn are wonderful! Even the front office staff is pleasant and checks me in fast and works hard. You can't go wrong with any of the 4 doctors at this practice! I chose Dr. Littrell 6+ years ago because many of my friends and co-workers raved about her. I couldn't agree with them more, and I am so glad I found her. Dr. Littrell always spends time with me and treats me like I am her only patient. I never feel rushed. This is big for me because I worry a lot, but she always has me feeling much better after talking to her. Dr. Littrell is also very knowledgeable and knows the current research, so I 100% trust her with me and my future children. I couldn't think of anyone else I would trust and recommend to care for not only me, but my future children! It does take a while to get an appointment with her if you just go once a year for your annual, but that is because she is a great doctor. I am willing to call a few months ahead of time and get on the schedule :) read more

So I have been looking for a good OB/GYN lately and found this doctor on my insurance providers preferred network doc list. I initially chose this location due to the super close proximity to my house. Another contributing factor... its about a 2min walk from the Taco Joint. I try to make my appointments around lunch time to I can grab a bite to eat after my visit! I'm sure a lot of really inappropriate jokes could be made right about now... I will refrain. Dr. Christina Littrell is my doc and she is the bomb! After my first visit with her I knew that she would be my regular doc as long as I'm living in Dallas. Initially went to have an IUD put in and Dr. Littrell pulled me into her office to do an initial history. She was really friendly and chatty and even mentioned how she had lived in the same apartment complex while she was in med school. We talked about options, the procedure, etc. and I immediately felt comfortable with her. The process was actually quite difficult due to my personal anatomy and I was in a considerable amount of pain both during and following the procedure. Dr. Littrell repeatedly apologized and even told me at one point that I could curse her name if it made me feel any better. She did a great job of keeping the mood light and my spirits high. When she realized I was in significant pain she asked if I wanted to stop or if I wanted more pain meds. I didn't want to stop because I am not a quitter, so I asked for more drugs. She had her nurse whip me up a little drug cocktail and then gave me a few minutes to just lay down, regain my composure and let the pain meds kick in. They were finally able to get everything done and she urged me to make a follow up within the next month to make sure I was ok. Dr. Littrell was even kind enough to write me a script for pain meds to help out at home since I had had such a rough time. At my follow up appointment, Dr. Littrell immediately remembered me and even asked if I still hated her. I knew she was joking with me and appreciated her candor. She checked me out immediately and was pleasantly surprised that everything had gone so well. I have never felt so unbelievable comfortable with any doctor and you can tell that this woman is truly great at what she does. I highly recommend her to all my Yelp ladies out there! read more

My first appointment with Dr. Littrell went very well, and she was very easy to talk to. However 2 months later I received a large bill from a lab for testing t hat I WAS NOT AWARE OF for STD testing and other tests. FYI to future patients, STD testing is STANDARD for patients ages 18-30 and they will not inform you of this. I was a brand new patient and have never had this testing done at other doctors ever. I have no reason to. She did NOT inform me that this was a standard practice and my insurance did not cover it. SHE claims the other other tests were discussed however they weren't discussed and I was never given an opportunity to contact my insurance company to find out if it would be covered. In the end, it cost me over $200 for these tests. She obviously has no respect for her patients and their wallets, and despite many attempts at trying to reconcile this bill directly with her, she decided to formally FIRE me as her patient. Obviously she's not enough of a professional to admit that she made a mistake. Please take this into consideration when you think of Dr. Littrell...she may be a great doctor, but be extra careful and make sure you find out exactly what testing she is doing because she won't be forthcoming and honest with you. A recent review states that there is now a form to sign related to the STD testing. This must be a new thing because there was nothing to sign back when I had my appointment in 2010. Tried to schedule an appointment but hung up on twice, placed on hold twice with one time being more than 20 minutes. Called back and before being placed on hold again I told the receptionist how long I had been on hold and she said sorry she has to answer the calls in order and proceeded to place me on hold. Who supposed to be really good but she ended up told me to go home with 2 birth control devices in my body because she couldn't take 1 of them out like she promised and then told me i had to have surgery to take 1 out, then she didn't care to fix her problem.Came here to DR. When I first got pregnant, I tried to schedule an appointment for my 8 week sono with Dr. Litrell- but when I heard she was booked for the entire next month, I made an appointment with the next available Dr who happened to be Dr Payne... Best decision ever! He's awesome. I remember my very first appointment he was a bit late to- but he told me he got tied up with another patient and said, "if my patients ever need to talk- I spend as long with them as it takes". And that is something I respect and WANT in my doctor!! I leave every appointment feeling a million times more relaxed and reassured then when I went in, he just has a way of making you feel like every concern you have is normal (which was very comforting for a nervous first time mom like me!) I also gained well over the recommended amount during my pregnancy and he never once made me feel bad about it- or even mentioned it! He's more worried about my health and my baby's health, my blood pressure and testing, etc than the extra lbs I put on. When I had to take a trip to L&D in the middle of the night for terrible tendinitis, he wasn't even the on-call Dr but showed up anyway to check on me. Truly a great guy. Do not overlook the male Drs in this practice!!! That being said- a few negatives. The scheduling nurses are not all that... Never outright rude but always cold and unwelcoming.. Maybe they put up with a lot of shit though, so who am I to say. Also, I've seen a lot of people complain about their dr being late and I have experienced this too- but it's because they sometimes need to DELIVER BABIES. Dr. Gunby is a great doctor. You always feel like you (and your growing family) are in great hands with him. More than once, we arrived to the office on time for an appointment and then sat around in the waiting room for over an hour. I get that OBs have unpredictable schedules and get called away to do deliveries on short notice (presumably this was the reason for our long and unexpected waits), but I wish they had some better system for handling it. I do recommend this place for the outstanding care. But just know that you should budget a lot of extra time for each appointment, and don't be surprised if you get in much later than they told you. read more

Just as I was about to pick up and leave (1 hour after my scheduled appointment time), they called me back to sit in a room undressed for another 30 minutes! Ridiculous! I did not realize I needed to take a half day off work for a routine Drs appointment! read more

This place blows my mind first off they are clearly not organized and I question their cleanliness. In the small area where they draw your blood it's cluttered and the nurse keeps her purse in the sink. There's open cup urine samples on the countertop on the bathroom and they can never seem to remember if they have taken my blood or given me a test. One of the two nurses named Whitney is condescending and doesn't know how to be professional to add to that on my last visit here (by choice) Dr. Robert Gunby waived his finger in my face explaining to me that I need to "behave" after I attempted to explain my anger of not being able to get a hold of them to make my appointments after 6 voicemails and 4+ weeks when I am at the last week and a half of my pregnancy. However I was not able to make my case or get a point across because he kept interrupting me after asking me a question. I see nothing appealing about this place. The care you receive sucks and my mind is blown that an experienced doctor would act this way...to a pregnant woman. Do not become a patient here you deserve better care than that of which I just received. read more

Had the best experience with Dr. Harper! So friendly but still professional to make me as comfortable as possible. Since I was a new patient, she sat down with me and went over my medical history thoroughly for quite a while before starting the examination. I have been seeing a myriad of doctors and taken various medications for the last few years that simply masked the symptoms but failed to find the real issue. Within about 15 minutes Dr. Harper had figured out what was wrong and arranged for labwork that confirmed her diagnosis. So happy to finally be getting a real solution! I can't even comment on Dr. Littrell due to her staff. I called for a new patient appointment and the lady who answered the phone was rude and could not be less interested in helping me schedule an appointment. My impression of this place...If I am treated this way just trying to schedule a NEW PATIENT appointment, how is the rest of my experience going to be??? Dr. Littrell, you need to handle your staff...they are scaring away potential patients with their unprofessional attitudes. read more
