This is the best eye doctor - I actually went to high school with him. He is kind and explains everything to you. His staff are beyond nice and the new office (by the Oaks Mall) is beautiful. Great selection of glasses. I have been seeing him for over 10 years. Highly recommend read more

Had a eye hemorrhage that was diagnosed by Dr. Snyder. Called office and they immediately found a space in the calendar to see me. Was greeted very nicely by both front desk employees and check out was easy. Dr. Snyder completed a thorough exam of my eye, prescribed eye drops and was very professional, friendly and courteous. I was recommended to this office and will recommend to family and friends. read more

I booked an appointment several weeks ago. It took approximately 3 days for the office to send me a confirmation email. They called me two days before my appointment saying I'm not within network. This whole debacle could have been avoided if they ran my insurance info (that I provided a month ago) when they confirmed my appointment. Never have I been to a health care facility that runs insurance after an appointment is made. If they did it sooner, my appointment could have gone to someone they can take, and I could have found another optometrists. Instead, someone else has a different appointment and I am now out of corrective lenses and rearranged my day. They need to reevaluate their business operations read more

I had an eye injury Friday evening--my three year old has a heck of a right jab. Didn't think much of it and iced it but ended up waking up all night, every hour, with a stinging pain like there was an object in my eye. Saturday morning at 6am I couldn't wait any longer and called a few optometrists in the area. They were all closed but Dr Snyder had an option to transfer to his cell in an emergency. Got a prompt call back and an offer to meet at his office in 30 minutes. Quick evaluation and he found a sizable scratch on my cornea and gave me some wetting drops, a dose of antibiotic and a scrip should I need more. Really appreciated the quick response and efficient, thorough treatment. Very clean office and examine room. read more

Thought this would be a great office to visit due to the online reviews and the recommendation from my personal trainer. Advertise they take eyemed but do not. They could have run my insurance information (they ask on their website) when I booked my appointment 1.5 months ago, but apparently only look at insurance 2 days before appointment. Bad practice - what if a patient books an appointment a year in advance and their insurance changes. If they didn't look at this sooner, wouldn't the patient and the provider be out of service and business respectively? If more businesses are moving to be more digital, wouldn't it be advantageous to update the operational protocol? Instead, I got "I've been doing this for 10 years and this has never happened"... yet no apology from the receptionist, for their negligence or if it's not negligence their inability to transform their business with the times read more

Martha is rude. She says she's been there for 10 years but talks and receives calls like she has been working at the front desk for 10 days. Not once did she apologize for the confusion and of putting information she told me. I am still waiting for the doctor to call me back regarding how the office intends to prevent any future mishaps from happening to others read more

Had a great experience here! Everyone was nice and complimentary. Dr Snyder was knowledgeable and friendly.

We have been visiting Oakbrook Optometry for 3 years and have decide to go elsewhere. I have never seen Dr. Snyder. Dr. Bailely is a kind and competent optometrist. She is the two stars in this review. The staff, however is another matter. The receptionist Marca's smile rings false and her eyes stay cold in spite of her professionalism. As soon as you have signed in, etc., she will have nothing more to do with you. Her attitude, both in person and on the phone, has always been what can best be described as "snippy." The Optician Jennifer is even worse. She starts out all sweetness and light, but if you deviate from her inflated marketing attempts and request something less expensive, she turns hostile. Her eyes radiate hatred. She has flatly refused to clean up a pair of scratched lenses (You really should have gotten the upgrade and the warranty, DEAR,) and refuses to take payments on a credit plan for a complicated prescription, leaving my husband with terribly inferior glasses which are now actually hurting his vision. And our credit is quite good! Frankly, we don't feel like they give a damn about us, and would rather go to a place where we actually feel welcome and have better customer service as well as a good eye doctor. read more

Dr. Paul Snyder is an excellent optometrist. I switched over from my previous optometrist because I was wearing special CRT Contact Lenses, and unfortunately, my previous optometrist's office was terrible at properly filing with my insurance and overcharged me on a number of items. I was so fortunate to find Dr. Snyder, who was in-network and his office understood the insurance policies very well and were able to tell me what costs to expect upfront. Beyond the professionalism of his staff, Dr. Snyder is a GREAT optometrist! He is always very thorough in his examination and keeps very thorough, digital notes of each visit. Additionally, he's extremely patient and willing to answer all my questions. Last year, I decided to make the jump to LASIK, but had a tough transition from my CRT Hard Contacts to glasses. However, Dr. Snyder was super patient and saw helped me with the transition through appointments every couple of weeks. I just recently got my LASIK procedure done, and I'm so glad Dr. Snyder would be taking care of my post-operation treatments! I would highly recommend Dr. Snyder! read more

Dr. Snyder is a great eye doctor. Very thorough and has all the latest equipment. His office staff are the best and very helpful.

Dr. Paul Snyder has been my optometrist for the past 5 years. On the scale of good, better, best, Dr. Snyder is better than one of the best. As an optometrist, he is outstanding. I first met Dr. Snyder through a business networking group. Even in having seen my previous optometrist for some 15 years, it became obvious that it likely was in my best interest to have my eyes examined by Dr. Snyder. This was because of the extremely high level of satisfaction members of the networking group expressed about Dr. Snyder, his staffs, and the quality and selection of frames and lenses displayed at his office. I am so pleased that I transferred my vision care to Dr. Snyder! The thoroughness of his examinations is unparalleled. The selection of quality stylish eyeglass frames is the best I have seen. Lastly, and most important of all, my vision with glasses is clearer than at any time in the past 55 years. I give Dr. Paul Snyder my unconditional endorsement! read more

I came to this doctor Because of few positive reviews,, My experience was totally different!!!Annoying phone service, it took 20 times to spell to my name to his secretary, she just didn't get it,, blamed my accent. The waiting time for the doctor was long and the doctor spent just a minute with me, The Doctor didn't give me the opportunity to ask questions, was super rushing and arrogant,, called to his office staff to follow me when I start to ask questions,, very weird doctor and staff! ZERO privacy! Zero Stars!!! read more

Not only he looks younger in person but he is also Very nice, professional, personable and very thorough. He took his time patiently with my son who is 10 yrs old. We were the last patient at that time, Some other doctors/optometrists would be rushing it to go home but not Dr. Paul Snyder. He made my son feel comfortable. When we got home he said he is the nicest doctor ever! He examined/checked my eyes too. Ive been with other optometrists and Dr. Snyder is the best so far. His staffs are very nice and polite. The only comment I have is their frame is a bit expensive but overall I would recommend him to my family and friends. Just to let you guys know that He is the kind of doctor/optometrist we all need:) read more

We have been going to Dr. Snyder for many years. We enjoy our visits - great Doctor and office staff!

Went here for the first time a few days ago, and I had a great experience! Dr. Snyder was excellent, as was his entire staff. They answered all of my questions and Dr. Snyder took his time, asking questions about my previous history and sent me home with a few sample contacts to try since I would like to switch. Overall, this was an excellent visit and I'll definitely be back! read more

Both my husband and I are very pleased with this office and will continue to go back for our yearly exams. I have been going to Dr. Snyder for more than 20 years. He and his office manager, Stephanie, make every visit a pleasure. They are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. It is clear that Dr. Snyder and his staff care about each and every patient. They are a full service office. They offer all the testing for eye health and vision care in addition to a large selection of frame; from affordable to high end. I highly recommend Dr. Snyder and Oakbrook Optometry. read more

Dr. Snyder is the most knowledgeable and caring optometrist in the Conejo Valley. My whole family uses him and I've referred friends to him. as well. They all love him. read more

Dr. Snyder is a member of my company's VSP plan. His eye examination was extremely thorough, and seemed more comprehensive than my last eye exam with an opthamologist. He noticed a condition that was causing me to have irritated, dry eyes in the mornings and made a recommendation on how to remedy that, which is working after just three days. His office staff was also very helpful. read more

Dr. Snyder is very thorough and his staff is always very helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I visited Dr. Snyder's office today as a returning patient thinking that I had a few days until my vision discount ran out, but it turns out that I was a few days too late. The staff was SO KIND about the misunderstanding. They worked with me and VSP to make sure that they had the most accurate information possible and to make sure that I wouldn't be charged more than I should be. I really appreciated their honesty in giving me a quote before the exam started, and their patience with me as I realized my mistake. In a world where medical billing can be extremely confusing, I highly value this kind of customer service and support! read more

I would highly recommend Dr Snyder, and his staff! I received the most thorough eye exam I have had in 50 years and finally, an explanation for why my bottom eyelids were frequently red. Dr. Snyder took time to explain the photos of my eyes, and a lot of information I had never heard before related to my eye health. read more

My 11 years old daughter got CRT contact lens from Dr. Snyder last year September. Since then he has closely followed her eye condition and helped to understand the treatment. His professional explanation reduced my concerns regarding this still-pioneering stage of treatment. My daughter feels very comfortable to discuss questions she has. I think Dr. Snyder earned our trusts and my husband also became his patient. read more

My husband was unhappy when after 50 years without glasses, his eyes grew old and he needed to wear them. He reluctantly went to get his eyes checked, found out what prescription of glasses he needed from the doctor and went about getting a pair of those miserable glasses that were only going to remind him of growing older. Instead, Jennifer turned it all around. She helped him find a really cool pair of glasses that make him feel young and edgy. He loves wearing his glasses. LOVES THEM. He wants to buy more glasses from Jennifer. He seems to have completely forgotten why he needed them in the first place. It's like getting glasses was his own idea, not nature's. They are a cool accessory. Thanks, Jennifer. You're the best! read more
