Words cannot express how happy I am with the high quality of service Dr. Osterloh and his team provide. Prior to finding Dr. Osterloh, i tried for three consecutive years to find a doctor that could get me "Polycarbonate lenses". The newer lenses tend to get milky and for some reason on the last bad set of lenses I fingerprints and a milky film coating with embedded fingerprint was in the lense. I did extensive research to find a doctor who could help me get the right kind of lenses (Polycarbonate, are rare find these days). I came across Dr. Osterloh here in Thousand Oaks. When I called to schedule my appointment I explained my situation and they told me they could help me. I had to wait a few weeks to get in but it was was well worth the wait. He is in such demand. While in Dr. Osterloh's office a patient told me how great Dr. Osterloh and staff are. I arrived for my appointment early and was taken in on time for exam. Jennifer in his office, helped me select my frames and explained my lense options. She is also a gem! His entire office team is very welcoming and professional. YES! I got polycarbonate lenses. I can see clearly now with no milky film or fingerprints embedded in my lenses like the other three pairs of glasses. I highly recommend Dr.Osterloh! read more

I have been going to Dr.Osterloh for years. But in August 2022, I had my eyes examined. They filled three pairs of frames for me, with what I thought was my prescription. But the prescription was all wrong. So he gave me another exam. Again the prescription was put into my frames. Again I couldn't see clear, which caused me to fail my eye exam for my driver's license. So I went to another optometrist in Westlake Vlg. He said my prescription was all wrong. So he gave me the right prescription which I have to fill again. Dr. Osterloh and staff refuse to refund my money. The staff said it's just my eyes going bad. I'm extremely disappointed in their professionalism. There was none!!! read more

love these folks. we had a great optometry when we were living elsewhere but going to them proved to be quite an adventure so we decided to look for someone closer. My wife actually found them and after our initial visit I have no doubt that we found our family optometrists. the staff and the doctor were super friendly and informative. they were patient when it came to explaining things to me or me asking a bunch of questions. even though my appointment was super late in the day, I never felt rushed. also they get bonus points for being able to put up with my sense of humor. would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a optometry. read more

Very pleased. I can see now why he has 5 star reviews. What a pleasant eye care visit. He is so calm kind and such excellent bedside manners. Also, seems very experienced and knowledgeable. I had an awfully disturbing visit to an ophthalmologist (DLV vision) just 1 1/2 week ago when the MD concluded that she couldn't correct my vision to 20/20. Only to 20/40 from 20/50. Well, Dr Osterloh was able to correct my vision well today. Much more optimistic and also informative Re the cataracts I have that have worsened from mild to now possibly moderate. He said mine are not severe enough to need surgical removal, he said hat if I wanted lens replacements it wouldn't be covered by Medicare at this earlier stage of cataracts. Highly recommend this office and Dr Osterloh. read more

As my eyes are aging and little issues came up, Dr. Osterloh made great recommendations to solve my issues and has pointed me in the right direction for specialists that I needed to see.
