Dr. Osterloh, Jennifer, Denisse and the entire team do an OUTSTANDING job. It can be hard to find an optometry you can trust with your vision. But this office is one of the rare ones! Highly recommend giving them your business and trusting them with your vision. 5/5 stars. Would give 6 stars if I could. read more

Dr. Osterloh is amazing! He's great at what he does and never pushes anything on you, which I really appreciate. His manager and staff are equally wonderful, creating a welcoming and professional environment. I also have to mention that she has fantastic taste in the frames they carry--every time I leave, I walk out with a pair I absolutely love! I like many others was told to get my eyes checked. My wife previously had her eyes check by Dr. Osterloh and was very satisfied wit5h his examination. So I went in apprehensive to find out the issues with my eyes. After the examination, he took the time to explain to me his diagnosis and a thorough recommendation as to what I needed to do. He was very personable in his approach. His office crew is very welcoming and very helpful as well in the eye examination process. He has a great display of glasses to offer at very affordable prices. read more

The doctor was great! They help you decide what frame looks the best with your facial shape-for those that need that.

Words cannot express how happy I am with the high quality of service Dr. Osterloh and his team provide. Prior to finding Dr. Osterloh, i tried for three consecutive years to find a doctor that could get me "Polycarbonate lenses". The newer lenses tend to get milky and for some reason on the last bad set of lenses I fingerprints and a milky film coating with embedded fingerprint was in the lense. I did extensive research to find a doctor who could help me get the right kind of lenses (Polycarbonate, are rare find these days). I came across Dr. Osterloh here in Thousand Oaks. When I called to schedule my appointment I explained my situation and they told me they could help me. I had to wait a few weeks to get in but it was was well worth the wait. He is in such demand. While in Dr. Osterloh's office a patient told me how great Dr. Osterloh and staff are. I arrived for my appointment early and was taken in on time for exam. Jennifer in his office, helped me select my frames and explained my lense options. She is also a gem! His entire office team is very welcoming and professional. YES! I got polycarbonate lenses. I can see clearly now with no milky film or fingerprints embedded in my lenses like the other three pairs of glasses. I highly recommend Dr.Osterloh! read more

I had my annual eye exam with Dr Osterloh and he was great as always. I have so many questions about my aging eyes - Why do I get floaters?, how does aging affect my eyes?, are blue glasses worth buying?, what's the deal with PreserVision?, and others. Not only does he answer my questions but also takes the time to explain the science behind them. As someone who likes to understand the details, I appreciate this. read more

You just know when you pair extremely well with a business. That's just the tip of the ice berg with Osterloh Optometry. First, the office staff is amazing, friendly and become more like family. Jennifer is spectacular when it comes to picking out lenses. She gives options, but plays off your likes and gives honest and professional opinions. Dr. Osterloh is hands down one of the best in LA, IMO. It's evident through the exam/consultation that he truly cares about your eye health. The entire process of exams to ordering to scheduling is the best! So, by now you've already read enough and made the call, right? Thanks Osterloh Optometry! Steve read more

I have been going to Dr.Osterloh for years. But in August 2022, I had my eyes examined. They filled three pairs of frames for me, with what I thought was my prescription. But the prescription was all wrong. So he gave me another exam. Again the prescription was put into my frames. Again I couldn't see clear, which caused me to fail my eye exam for my driver's license. So I went to another optometrist in Westlake Vlg. He said my prescription was all wrong. So he gave me the right prescription which I have to fill again. Dr. Osterloh and staff refuse to refund my money. The staff said it's just my eyes going bad. I'm extremely disappointed in their professionalism. There was none!!! read more

Always wonderful customer service and Dr Osterloh is an excellent Optometrist. I have a hard time finding the right frame and the staff found the perfect pair! I can't wait to get my new glasses. Referred my spouse who also had a great experience. And my husband looks pretty hot in his new readers. read more

love these folks. we had a great optometry when we were living elsewhere but going to them proved to be quite an adventure so we decided to look for someone closer. My wife actually found them and after our initial visit I have no doubt that we found our family optometrists. the staff and the doctor were super friendly and informative. they were patient when it came to explaining things to me or me asking a bunch of questions. even though my appointment was super late in the day, I never felt rushed. also they get bonus points for being able to put up with my sense of humor. would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a optometry. read more

Dr. Osterloh and his team provided excellent service. The office staff was very helpful finding information about my new insurance plan. Great Dr.! Super nice and knowledgeable! I will go again. Did not try to sell me on glasses!

Very pleased. I can see now why he has 5 star reviews. What a pleasant eye care visit. He is so calm kind and such excellent bedside manners. Also, seems very experienced and knowledgeable. I had an awfully disturbing visit to an ophthalmologist (DLV vision) just 1 1/2 week ago when the MD concluded that she couldn't correct my vision to 20/20. Only to 20/40 from 20/50. Well, Dr Osterloh was able to correct my vision well today. Much more optimistic and also informative Re the cataracts I have that have worsened from mild to now possibly moderate. He said mine are not severe enough to need surgical removal, he said hat if I wanted lens replacements it wouldn't be covered by Medicare at this earlier stage of cataracts. Highly recommend this office and Dr Osterloh. read more

This review is long overdue as Ive been a patient of Dr. Osterloh for 5 years now. He's an excellent Optometrist, very thorough and has a good bedside manner. As my eyes are aging and little issues came up, Dr. Osterloh made great recommendations to solve my issues and has pointed me in the right direction for specialists that I needed to see. Lastly, his staff is very easy to work with and the overall experience is stellar. They are very organized and you are seen almost immediately. They do a great job with any insurance submissions and are great communicators. I highly recommend this practice. read more

Dr. Darren Osterloh is great. He's professional and I would go to him again but unfortunately I did not like his selection of glasses, which is limited and who they use to fill the prescriptions. I felt like my glasses were just a little off and they couldn't get it quite right. read more

Always on time and friendly. Dr. O takes his time and explains what he sees in eye your exam.

My husband & I had our first eye appointments with Dr Osterloh and are very pleased. He is wonderful. He explained everything while he was doing it. He is kind & very thorough. After our appointment we saw Jennifer and she is fantastic at picking out glasses. She has a great eye and in no time we were set up for new glasses for both of us. She is also thorough like Dr. Osterloh and explanatory. She has so much knowledge about what she is doing & is very gracious in her presentation. She is super patient & picks the best frames to suit your face. The entire staff from the beautiful (super model) Isabella at the front that was smart, kind & just lovely even tho we were a bit late...she could not have been nicer. It seems like if you find a great doctor the staff is awful or you have a great staff & the doctor is awful. Here you get the whole package ...everyone is great!!! Thank you Dr Osterloh, Jennifer & Isabella for a great experience. read more

Dr. Osterloh is a professional, kind, doctor of optometry. He has been my doctor for the past 15+ years. He's fantastic!

What a wonderful experience. Dr. O takes his time explaining everything. The lovely ladies in front are so nice. She took her time and picked out different styles for me to try on. I really enjoyed my appointment!! read more
