They weren't willing to try, not having the necessary picks to open it. They recommended Locksmith Services. It took considerable skill and patience, but John opened it! Thank you!

Hi, i will try to be brief in my experience. 1. when to…read morelocal chrysler dealership. 2. i had one working chyrsler key fob. 3. wanted my 2 keyed already unprogrammed keys to be programed. 4. after 3 services tech worked on it for 1 hr and 15 minutes, they said. 5. dealership said they need to schedule at least 3 hrs of labor to find the "faulty" in the wiring since there coding machine could not read the proper pin. ?? 3 x 145$ a hour......wt fing. 6. i said no, obviously. 7. i called dealership back within 10 minutes, to ask for the 4 digit pin, thus to go to a locksmith and have them see if they could program the 2 keys. A service lady told me the key coding machine has been down for the last 2 days and today. (so the techs could not get the code anyways). ............do you see what i am getting at ?...................... ( the chrysler dealership in my area lied.............and wanted to f me other for 450$ plus any parts they would find wrong. And 2 new keys since they told me the new ones i bought was wrong, thus a totalish of 650$ to be ripped of..............lol........ya baby) 8. here is the happy end of my story. 9. i called "locksmith services" in champagin illinios and and told them i have one working fob and 2 keyed blank transponders keys. 10. they imediately said "yes we can do that" 11. i went, they did ( with a very professional attitude) within 10 minutes and i walked away paying 75$ for 2 keys. And they explained in front of me what they were doing. 12. moral of this story.........go to fing "locksmith services" in champaign illinois, for all your keys help. 13. not a paid advertisement, nor do i work for them, just a honest happy customer, period. 14. moral fact #2, DONT GO TO CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. btw...after i came home i took the shower to get the dealership fing lies they told me. Sincerely, happy camper.

Waking up early on a Saturday with the goal in mind of driving down from Chicago to Litchfield,…read moreclearing out a storage locker, and turning right back around to head back to the city within the same day.. let's say, not exactly my ideal way to spend half a weekend. Arriving at the storage locker after a four hour drive only to discover that you inexplicably brought the wrong padlock key was practically demoralizing. As my dad and I sat in the Wendy's parking lot eating lunch inside our sunk-cost U-Haul (an unquestionably sorry looking scene), we attempted to try and accept our looming fate -- returning empty handed, the time and money wasted, dreading whatever other Saturday we'd need to commit to accomplish the task. I'd just finished reading through multiple random internet forums discussing just how impenetrable this particular lock we had would be to break, and had the fleeting thought to reach out to a locksmith. Seeing as it was Saturday afternoon and Litchfield is a small town, I figured if someone could even come out to begin with, it'd run us, oh.. $300? More? I had absolutely no idea, and little hope of it actually becoming a feasible option. Long story short - this is where Bobbie stepped in and saved the day as well as what remained of our dignity. She quoted me a no strings attached $40 flat rate, met us 15 minutes later, and was a pleasure to converse with as she solved our impenetrable padlock. I've never been so happy to get to move furniture. Five stars hands down, highly recommend - thank you again, Bobbie!
