Dr Restifo performed a mommy make over. He did a great job on my stomach and a terrible job on my…read morebreast. He never talked about size with me in my initial consultation at all. The day of surgery I thought he was going to go over size and did not. I told him I didn't want them very big but I did want them to fit my body. After surgery not only were my breasts too large but they were also very low. They were worse than what I had to began with. After about a month during my check up he admitted they had "dropped" and were low and said he would re-do them but it would cost another $2,000. I didn't do it and will get them redone. He also has no bedside manner or concern for his clients. He never suggested other ways he could do the tummy tuck that would have been better after all the weight I lost. He never went through a game plan with me on the best surgery to address the excess skin all over. I was also ripped off $4,000 because after I paid I received an email 2 weeks after my surgery that they were having a special and they wouldn't honor it for me. The woman that handles the payments is horrible, rude and a money hungry, shister. I was in the office for a check up and there was another client screaming at her because she received a surprise bill against what the woman had promised her. I would not recommend Dr Restifo or his practice.

Over the past twelve weeks, I have updated several times to share my experience with Dr. Restifo in Orange, CT. My surgery hasn't been 100% great! I can only see my reviews when I log in from my phone. I can't find my reviews/pictures from any other computer. His reviews are ***** five stars, and that's the main reason I hired him to do the procedure. That is not the case here!!! My review isn't showing! Why can I only read the reviews and see the pictures when I log in to my profile? Dodgy, no? They tell you to look at the picture book from RealSelf. Not all reviews are showing. BE AWARE!

Unfortunately I would never recommend Dr. Mao as a surgeon to perform blepharoplasty. If you are…read moreconsidering blepharoplasty you should see an oculoplastic surgeon/surgeon board certified in Ophthalmology. Dr. Mao's oversight cost me $40,000 in surgical repair fees ($15,000 if done through a less experienced surgeon) from THE BEST surgeon in the country that corrects these issues (lower lid retraction and entropion). The repair surgery involves a graft from the roof of my mouth being used on the back of my eyelid. It's not guaranteed it will even work because the damage to my eye is so extensive. I had been living in horrible discomfort as my lower eye lashes have been turned into my eye. Dr. Mao wasn't able to recommend a protective contact lens to ease the pain. Another surgeon I consulted with recommended it. It was a lifesaver. Immediately following my first surgery with Dr. Mao, I can see the lower lid of my left eye is pulled down. Sadly, nobody caught it at followup appointments until I brought it up. I was consistently told by Amanda that I looked good. Dr Mao performed a second surgery 3 wks post op to correct it, unfortunately only made it worse. One time I woke up and my eye was bleeding in the middle of the night. It was terrifying. After a 3rd surgery with no improvement, I decided to seek a specialist. PLEASE do not have anyone other than an experienced oculoplastic surgeon perform surgery on your eyes. And never have implants inserted into your tear troughs - no oculoplastic surgeon would recommend them. Initially I felt that Amanda was helpful and compassionate but in hindsight I believe she was gaslighting me. She kept telling me I looked great despite specialists telling me I needed grafts to fix the retraction. I never had access to Dr. Mao post op - only Amanda or Arissa. Everything went through Amanda. Dr. Mao's office has not offered any financial assistance towards the specialist repair surgery despite the damage done to my eye. I don't want anyone else to endure this extremely traumatic & costly experience. From my perspective it's important to choose a surgeon to perform the surgery that knows how to correct it should something go wrong.

The wait time at the Emergency Care at Milford Hospital can be from two hours to six hours…read moredepending on when you go. The front desk staff is incredibly stoic in their facial expressions. There is no attentiveness to people who are crying from pain. You have to request a wheelchair if you are there with someone who is very obviously unable to walk. It looks like front desk hate their jobs and do not care about how much pain anybody is in. I was unable to give the person I came with any water because the doctor might need a urine test. This urine test never came and they failed to notify us until the very very end when I had to ask if the person I was with could please use the bathroom. No tissue boxes on each of the tables in the waiting room which I think should be a basic necessity. The doctor is always in a hurry and undermines the patient's knowledge. When I had more questions he literally swatted me away like i was a fly. An elderly man with glasses who treated me like I wasn't speaking English. The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because the Registered Nurse Steven was the only person willing to treat us with the dignity and the care that we first set out to find in a very worrisome situation.

Doc gave me some notes to follow and I was a released. Good experience. I still would goto Yale New Haven (trauma) or Bridgeport (Burn unit) for more serious ailments.
