Before reaching out to Paul Duggan, I spent about a month searching for this watch and contacting numerous sellers. I even reached out to some of the popular Instagram sellers with flashy videos showcasing luxury cars, designer accessories, and exotic watches. In many cases, the watch either wasn't actually available, or I never got the impression they were genuinely interested in helping me find the piece I was looking for. What stood out about Paul Duggan was how straightforward and professional they were. No hype, no sales pressure, just honest communication and a great watch at the best price I was able to find during my search. Like many watch enthusiasts, I was initially hesitant about buying a luxury watch online. I wanted a nice, used rolex... I asked 3 separate dealers in the building exchange who had the best pre-owned rolex... with papers and serviced... Paul Duggan was the name. I walked in was greeted with a warm hello, I asked if they had used rolexes with papers serviced. He showed me the watches. They were a little more than i wanted to spend. Then, they brought out a used one and I wanted it at first sight. Then, there was price. They gave me a price. I said, now, what's your best price? He gave me this number and started counting the cash. Wow! What an easy process. They are very, very nice people. I was walked through how to use the watch, given papers, manuals and, even a nice pouch to keep my old watch in. I was so grateful that I thanked them for selling me the watch. I left happy as a New England clam in a bowl of clam chowder.... lol.... About two minutes later I get a call. It so happens that I overpaid by $100.00. Wow! He came down and met me so I didn't have to park and come upstairs. Tim, the manager, is amazingly honest. I will forever buy and recomend Paul Duggan Jewelers. Had been searching for a Rolex 14060 in the right condition and for the right price. Used to live in Boston and knew of Paul Duggan through past experience at 333 Washington St when shopping for engagement rings. They had a beautiful example for sale when I visited their website. After contacting them with a few questions, Shirley took multiple additional photos for me and emailed them. She also answered all the questions I had and held the watch for me over the weekend. I called Monday morning and talked to Tim and he answered a few additional questions for me. Made the purchase over the phone and the watch was delivered the next morning to Nebraska. I dont understand why people like this place. No one was rude to me or anything, but there was absolutely nothing appealing about this store. The watches were not displayed in a way that would promote them. I guess if I liked the brands they carried, I might have a different opinion, but the store looked kind of dingy and dirty. I dont like Tourneau, but at least they display the watches in a way that makes you want to buy them. I saw one man getting offended at the price that was offered for his Rolle. read more
