    THEY PAINTED OVER WALLPAPER

    photos say a thousand words run run run they didnt put any batt insulation in my attic like they were paid to do. they left me with outlets that they put a flat cover on so now i have no outets. i have switches that do nothing. they refused to rewire for my outside lights. they cut the wires for the well pump and charged me for a new well. they are charged me for for a roof leak, when the guys were here fixing the roof they said there would be no charge. i got charged over 500 and they wont show me recipt. the bill kept getting things added to it. with no arithmetic to back it up. on and on and on i could go. i went to news station...

    I wish I'd read these reviews regarding Everdry before I signed a contract. They installed drain…read moretile and a sump pump in December 2025. I had a representative come out and check water seepage near the north wall where drain tile was placed. Water is seeping through cracks that appeared after cement cured when it rained. The agent said wait until there's a "normal rainfall." Then see what happens. All basements get water from flooding in Wisconsin. They definitely sing a different tune after the work is done. An alternative is to have them drill holes in floor and simulate a normal rainfall. Also left a mess in the yard. But the project manager added a sign off sheet saying they were not responsible for any damage to the house. I am sure the warranty has limits in small print regarding "normal rainfall conditions." I'm a senior and would like to redo my once finished basement, sell my house, and find a maintenance free condo. I feel really taken advantage of by the sales staff. They're a piece of work. I'm thinking of legal recourse.

    I had my roof replaced by 123 Exteriors in 2020. Prior to this, I had no issues with leaks or paint…read moredamage in my garage. However, in spring 2024, I started noticing peeling paint on the ceiling and walls of my garage. Initially, I thought it was just aging, but by November 2024, water started leaking through the ceiling. I immediately contacted 123 Exteriors, but they did not respond quickly. I had to call multiple times over a week before they finally sent someone. When they came, they only fixed the exterior roof and said they would also address the interior damage later. However, after initially promising to fix the interior, the company changed their stance. First, they suggested we split the repair cost 50/50, and then later they completely refused responsibility, claiming it was not their fault. Key points: No leaks or ceiling damage before the roof replacement (2020) Paint started peeling in 2024, likely due to a slow leak from improper roof installation Water began leaking in November 2024, indicating long-term internal damage Company delayed repairs, required multiple follow-ups, and only addressed the exterior They initially promised to fix the interior, then later refused responsibility Extremely disappointed with their service and lack of accountability. I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable roofing service.

    I hired Giertsen Company to repair my home following water damage. The project began in March 2024…read moreand wasn't completed until October 2024, primarily due to staff shortages. I paid $67,000 for the work--more than the original $65,000 estimate--and received proof of payment from the company. After listing my home for sale, multiple potential buyers contacted Giertsen to inquire about the warranty. To my shock, I was told by my real estate agent that Giertsen informed buyers I had only paid $30,000 and did not hire them for the full repair. This was blatantly false, and as a result, I lost buyers and suffered delays in selling my home. When I emailed Giertsen to clarify, my message was forwarded to the contractor, Patrik, who responded unprofessionally and was upset that I contacted the company--despite the fact that I paid more than the quote and expected transparency. This level of miscommunication, misinformation, and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, especially from a company dealing with people during stressful times like home damage recovery. I expected integrity and accountability, but unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating and costly.
