My "dream team" -- Eric Markwald, James Stossmeister, Anthony Heald, and their crew -- truly deserve recognition bonuses for their exceptional skill, dedication, and workmanship. They worked tirelessly, often around the clock, to help restore my home while also assisting many others affected by the historic 2025 Milwaukee floods. Beyond their technical expertise, what meant the most was their kindness, compassion, and patience. They provided reassurance and support when I was overwhelmed, anxious, and facing the challenges of dealing with insurance adjusters while being displaced from my home and without my belongings. They guided me through every step of the mitigation, reconstruction, and insurance processes, always keeping me informed and confident that things would be made right. In the end, they truly delivered on that promise.

From start to finish, they went above and beyond every expectation. They took the time to walk me through each step of the process, making sure I understood exactly what was being done and why. Their communication and professionalism were top-tier. What truly stood out was their work ethic. Despite the cold and snow, they showed up on time, focused, and determined. Weather that would slow most people down didn't faze them at all. They completed the entire project in just three days--fast, efficient, and with excellent quality. I'm genuinely grateful for the care and dedication they put into my home. If you're looking for a team that's reliable, knowledgeable, and committed to doing things right, this crew is the one to call. Highly recommend Everdry Waterproofing!! If I could rate more stars, I would!!!!!

I wish I'd read these reviews regarding Everdry before I signed a contract. They installed drain…read moretile and a sump pump in December 2025. I had a representative come out and check water seepage near the north wall where drain tile was placed. Water is seeping through cracks that appeared after cement cured when it rained. The agent said wait until there's a "normal rainfall." Then see what happens. All basements get water from flooding in Wisconsin. They definitely sing a different tune after the work is done. An alternative is to have them drill holes in floor and simulate a normal rainfall. Also left a mess in the yard. But the project manager added a sign off sheet saying they were not responsible for any damage to the house. I am sure the warranty has limits in small print regarding "normal rainfall conditions." I'm a senior and would like to redo my once finished basement, sell my house, and find a maintenance free condo. I feel really taken advantage of by the sales staff. They're a piece of work. I'm thinking of legal recourse.

Servpro - Seth D and Andrew B were anything but professional

It's shocking to see such behavior tolerated by employers. "Business Manager" Seth D. was unsympathetic and both his demeanor and appearance was anything but professional. He was of no help or assistance. I would NOT recommend this company. And in particular the Waukesha/Milwaukee franchises.

I received a phone call after the deep freeze around Christmas that her kitchen pipe had froze and burst flooding her kitchen which in turn flooded her basement. Not really knowing what to do I got online and searched mitigation companies and called this Servpro and spoke with Summer. I was saddened to hear that there was a long backlog; wait list of at least two weeks due to the deep freeze:( I had called on a Friday and the next Monday I received a phone call from Fernando at Servpro stating that there was a cancellation and that they would be heading to my Aunts house! I think someone was looking down from above. I don't want to go on and on however these people are ANGELS in disguise. This was an extremely stressful situation considering we live in Cleveland and would not be able to get to her house for a week or so. Everyone there treated my Aunt with respect and showered her with support and truly cared about her and her situation. They came in an removed all damaged property and got her house dried out in no time and ready for reconstruction. Everyone on her team, in the office and all the managers/owners went above and beyond. If I ever was in this situation again (Praying never again) I would use this company hands down. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERVPRO! Thanks to Matt, Travis, Fernando, Summer and to everyone else I missed

Unfortunately, they missed some mold, and I had to call them back to cut out more drywall. This was a big disappointment. I don't understand how it was missed. The missed mold was right up to the edge of the drywall, meaning the drywall they cut out would also have mold right up to the edge, and they are supposed to remove one foot past where the mold ends. I found it when I was putting insulation back in, and I could have easily missed it myself which could have led to the mold continuing to grow and having another big problem later.  Also, I was given a work authorization to sign, but with no written breakdown of what the work would actually entail: which parts of the house, the process to remove the mold, etc. I had to request this. All other mold mitigation companies I contacted gave me a quote with a very detailed written breakdown of the work to be performed. If you go with them, make sure you ask for the details of the work to be performed in writing and don't settle for just a verbal explanation of what they will do.

Then showed up 10 days later to grab their equipment and left. Charged my insurance company over $6,000 and once they got their money, I never heard from them again. For 3 months I left numerous voicemails which were never returned. I was initially told that they would be in touch with some proposals to replace the drywall, flooring, paint, etc. but never heard a single thing. So I was just left to scramble on my own and I am still attempting to find someone to finish putting my basement all back together and it has literally been over 4 months now. Live and learn I guess. I would have been better off renting a commercial shop vac and dehumidifiers and done it all myself and saved myself from being dropped by my insurance company. So very disappointing.

My basement was not nearly as bad as other people's, and I wanted help cleaning and with mold. They got back to me within a couple of days while I was on other companies' waitlists. They could have come out the same evening, but I had them wait until the next day which was more convenient. They came out, provided an estimate. I had questions, and I was able to say what I wanted done (eg. I didn't want the air purification for $1000 since my HVAC system has an air purification system in it that takes care of mold spores or the wall paint to protect from mold for $200 since I am already on a list to have my basement waterproofed in a month, and the walls are going to be dealt with). They were amenable to the changes. They were able to schedule me for the next day and do the work. They provided me with updates of the project. They took out more drywall than anticipated, but that's fine. I'll refinish the basement later. Garrett and Justin were both helpful. I recommend them.
