This is a review of Dr Koretoff and the physical therapy practice…read more I visited Koretoff mid 2024 for ongoing shoulder pain. He spent the entire appointment acting like he was late for other things and had too much going on, really didn't seem interested in hearing what I had to say and was so scattered I thought wow maybe he is just having a bad day and is distracted by something. When I went back for a second follow up visit he was even more distracted and uninterested in talking to me. He repeated the same things over and over as though he forgot he had already told me certain things that same day, kept saying he was really busy and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Based on the first appointment he had referred me to their physical therapy program. This is the key for the practice. It wouldn't exist but for the overpriced PT that is the magic answer for all their patients. Now for the billing. Each THIRTY MINUTE physical therapy appointment is billed at $550 to your insurance. They charge $220 for 15 minutes with a STUDENT physical therapist. $230 for 15 with a licensed PT. I do have a high deductible insurance plan which I am well aware of. This means I owe a larger percentage of whatever the cost is up to my deductible. I have seen other offices and been to PT many times throughout my life and generally expect the total for a PT session to be anywhere from $120-$250 and my portion of the co-insurance to be calculated based on this. In the case of this office, they waited FOUR months until I had completed the recommended course of PT to send me any kind of bill. Strategic, so that I would not know the amount until I had completed my therapy. They have obviously implemented this strategy for a reason. Yes it is my fault for not asking for a bill upfront but never in my life have I seen a supposedly reputable PT practice charge these prices. They received from my insurance over $350 for each one of these $550 thirty minute sessions and STILL want to charge me personally $80 per session. Talk about a RACKET. Wow. When I first received the bill I called immediately with my concerns and very calmly explained the situation and rationale. I was told the office was going to discuss the matter and see what they could do for me. Over the course of the next two months I was not contacted again by SDSM and instead had to reach out to them two MORE times. Each time I was told a different story. At one point the billing office agreed the amount was very high and I was told the actual therapist could agree to a discount and that they were going to discuss this. Again, no follow up just repeated bills in the mail. When I called again to ask the outcome I was told that they can't offer any kind of discount if any portion has been paid by insurance. WTF. I again explained my outrage at the pricing and that I never would have continued and certainly never will go back had I known what they intended to charge. Again, "we will call you back". Each time I made it perfectly clear they were NOT to send this to collections which they agreed. Months went by and I received a bill now almost a year later saying that my account is delinquent and to avoid collections to contact them which I did immediately. After putting me on hold for ten minutes to read the copious notes they have in my file I was told there is nothing they can do except offer a payment plan. Upon supposedly transferring me to the payment plan office she promptly disconnected the line without actually transferring me. I had to call back AGAIN and leave a message. Everyone should be aware that this is their practice. If you are okay with insanely high bills and a practice that takes advantage of insurance (which is why we ALL pay insane premiums) then go ahead and support their business. $550 for a 30 minute PT session. No thanks. And their doctors aren't even good. Needless to say, my shoulder still hurts and now I have a headache and hours of my life lost talking to them about a ridiculous bill. Really wish people wouldn't support a business that takes advantage of insurance and over bills.

I feel fortunate to be able to work with Mark Woinarowicz (Coach Mark) and the PT team at PRN…read morePhysical Therapy- they have helped me a ton with my whacked out spine/back. Mark is a focused, but empathetic, force in helping folks address what ails them. I'd thought I'd come to the end of my PT experiences with my Knee Replacement and, most recently, a Shoulder Replacement, but then got referred to work on my spine. Mark is an encouraging person who explains both the big picture, and the specifics of the attack plan to get better. He is also creatively flexible, responding to feedback from patients to craft a more effective workout. Mark flipped my disappointment with having to go back to PT, into a renewed motivation to address my spine, and to incorporate the weak knee and shoulder into continued strength-building and range of motion improvement. Mark's treatment team (the folks who set up the exercises, help patients do the exercises, and help patients maintain success momentum) are Jett, Miguel and Matt. These are the guys who help me get my form right, transition between exercises, and generally help with whatever a patient needs to excel. They are upbeat and full of energy, as well as perceptive enough to help patients fine-tune details of their performance. They help put each individual's plan into action; they are where the rubber meets the road. Last, but definitely not the least, is the Huge Smile patients see when they come in the front door: Mareya. She checks everyone in, and gets everyone organized for their sessions. Rachel left us all behind and took off for school in Michigan; good luck! I recommend PRN PT without reservation. They are professional and always have their patients' improvement in mind, while balancing any other physical issues patients might have. They are not only great at what they do. They are great people, too!

Yousef is very knowledgeable and extremely qualified. He is kind, careful and gentle but pushes when necessary. Explaining everything and why it is necessary. Never have had PT previously so I was worried about re-injuring my knee. I trust Yousef completely. The front desk staff is cordial, friendly and efficient at appt scheduling. All the physical therapy techs are really good at setting up and explaining each exercise at the machines. Call out to Miquel Physical Therapy Tech. He has incredible interpersonal skills, remembers clients names, always scanning the room to make sure all clients are rotating through the exercises. Miquel Jumps in continuously helping all clients and explaining precisely what is required at each exercise station. If he sees that you are not doing proper body mechanics he steps in showing the correct way for maximum benefit and preventing an injury. Miquel is very detailed and professional. I would highly recommend PRN Physical Therapy to anyone needing PT. If I develop a problem or an injury in the future I would never go anywhere else except PRN Physical Therapy.

The mobility in my arm was non-existent and I was sent by my doctors to see the wonderful folks at Select to help rehabilitate my arm. My primary therapist was Blair and she was the greatest, in fact the entire staff was outstanding. I came to therapy twice a week and Blair worked patiently and methodically with me, helping me slowly but surely regain the mobility in my arm and after three months I am almost completely back to normal. I still feel some pain but that is to be expected from an injury like mine, but the mobility is just about 100%. This was important for me as I drive extensively with my job and I could not have possibly done this without the hard work and amazing techniques implemented by Blair and her great crew. I am forever grateful to the wonderful folks at Select and I recommend them highly to anyone who's broken and needs to be fixed!! These diligent professionals are without question, up to the task.

I couldn't do any overhead pressing without pain, and even holding my shoulder in a 90-degree position--something as simple as squatting with the bar--was uncomfortable and limiting. From the very first session, Dr. Boaz took a thoughtful, individualized approach. He didn't just treat the symptom; he addressed the root cause of the problem. His combination of manual therapy, movement based work, and performance-focused rehab was extremely effective and clearly tailored to my training goals. After about five sessions, my shoulder feels completely healed. I was able to shoulder press pain-free for the first time in six months, which honestly felt incredible. Beyond the hands-on work, Dr. Boaz was a tremendous resource--knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in getting me back to training at a high level. If you train hard and want a physical therapist who truly understands performance, movement, and long term health, Dr. Boaz is the person to see. He'll get you fixed up and back in action the right way.
