I spoke with the receptionist and describe my situation and she instantly talked to the PT working. A few minutes later, John came out and took me in the back room and talk thru what I needed done. I got a call back on Monday morning letting me know that I would be charged $99 for not giving them 24 working day notice (their initial paperwork also stated this policy so I knew about it). The person also asked me if I wanted to appeal that fee. I told her no and asked her to cancel my last two appointments. I would have expected the person calling to ask me what my mitigating circumstances were (although I mentioned them in my voice mail) rather than state I was being charged for the not canceling sooner. All in all - if I ever need physical therapy I would never consider a company that did not value me over their cancelation policy epically since they had all Monday morning to attempt to fill that slot. I also learned from the PT that he was really busy at that location. I'm giving two stars since I got some value from the PT but removing three stars since the business is not run very well in my opinion.

After that Noora used different techniques of treatment such as deep tissues massages, mobility and strengthening exercises, and she even gave me print-outs of exercises I should be doing at home. I have always been a physically active person and I had spent years dealing with back pain and not able to participate in any sports. If you put in the effort Rise will take care of the rest. He showed me how to do specific exercises for this condition and printed them out so I could continue to do it at home. I have been discharged at my request only because I gained the knowledge I needed to continue on my own. I already have experienced improvement in my condition. The front office staff were friendly and helpful. I would go to this facility again. The only downside, if I am forced to give one would be the parking. Their office seems quite popular so finding parking close to the door can be challenging.

No one would help this frustrating process along to get my 6ft 16 year old in. He has a bad back most likely from the growth spurt. Finally attended 1 session. Scheduled more after a grueling additional 4+ months of waiting for "approval to be processed" As for the appointments moving forward they would not answer phone to reschedule, would not return calls. I showed up 10 mins late due to work keeping me late, tried to call to let them know I was running late. No answer. Then banned my son from getting therapy at their facility stating their notes say I was 20 & 30 mins late which is absolutely not true. No notification or heads up that that could happen prior so that I could make certain that he not be late. I run a family owned/ran business and this is my unfortunate reality that I can be late since we are short staffed (there is no one to cover me). Very unprofessional of this facility to not keep the patients informed of this policy to avoid from being affected by it. Now my innocent son is not welcome back when he's in pain and I have to start the whole process over again to get him seen somewhere else. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. This staff is lazy and unprofessional. My insurance insisted I take him here because it's the only place that my insurance covers in my area.

It is not my first time at Rehab United in La Mesa (service then was outstanding, too) so when I needed care (again!) I did not hesitate to go back! From Reception to the PTAs to the PTs, all services were the best one could expect. The receptionist team of Vanessa, Morgan, Gabby, and others were always all smiles when you come in. The professional knowledge and expertise of Samantha, Steve, Charlie, and Erwin were evident in the care I received. The PTAs (Lauren, Caylee, Christian, and Josh) were very patient and informative in assisting me with the exercises and stretches I needed to get done. I am generally pain-free more days these days. Well done everybody! If I missed anybody, it was not intentional!!
