Alyssa has great energy, skills, and knowledge. My son has done amazing with her even though it has only been a few months.

He genuinely looks forward to every class, and seeing his excitement and joy walking in says more than words ever could. The impact on his development has been incredible. We've seen growth not only in his sensory regulation and skills, but also in his confidence, engagement, and overall happiness. Every session is thoughtfully guided with patience, care, and a true understanding of who he is as an individual. We appreciate her more than we can fully express. Anyone who brings this much happiness, comfort, and progress into our child's life will always have a place in our hearts. We feel incredibly lucky to have found someone who cares so deeply and makes such a meaningful difference in our child's journey.

What really sets Gina apart is her patient-led approach. She meets my son where he is and adjusts each session based on his needs in the moment. Gina is incredibly compassionate, sweet, and attentive to cues. When my son becomes overwhelmed and needs space--sometimes even needing to step into a quiet corner--Gina recognizes this right away and adapts without pressure. That flexibility and understanding helped her build real trust with him. Because Gina listens, observes, and adjusts so thoughtfully, our son feels safe and respected during sessions, and that has made a huge difference in his progress. She is a fantastic representative of Radiant Kids Therapy, and I highly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, patient, and child-centered speech therapist.

Here there is great communication and all of the staff really seem to care. They have great PT (Dr. Katie) and OT (Dorsa). The facility is also very cool. (Days were good) Dad needed more rehab than nursing care and OT/PT was awesome. Melissa and Theresa stood out, they were very engaged with my dad challenging and encouraging him nonstop and they stayed consistent with him. He always talked positively about them. Marlene I believe her name was as a RNA that was good. Pawan was very attentive as well even though I don't think he was really assigned to his room. Appreciated him. Amy in the dining room was so attentive my dad didn't care for her in the beginning but he quickly learned she was just persistent and was looking out for him. Jamil I think his name I was also good. Brandi comes to mind too. Areas they could improve in was not just response time to red button sometimes taking 30-45 minutes but also many times they would come and ask what was needed but didn't return with what my dad would ask. Some (guys) were also rough with my dad and he would call them out. I think they thought he was out of it? Many times my dad would need to use the restroom and they would tell him to just go in his diaper. This happened A LOT. I had to speak up multiple times saying he needed to practice transfers and get on the toilet. It was obvious they just didn't want to do it. Also he was to get up for each meal and I'd catch him in bed many times and they would say "oh he didn't want to" and my dad would say "I was never asked". I should and would expect patients CNAs to just do it every time making the most of patients time there. Seeing or talking to a doctor was a lot harder than it should have been. Maybe they had staffing shortages but this place has a lot of potential if they were just more consistent with care.

This review is for OT. Would leave zero stars if I could. The billing has been a constant issue,…read moreeven when we cancel appointments, we still end up getting charged. The sessions are advertised as 30 minutes, but in reality they feel much shorter. The therapist usually spends the first 5-10 minutes letting our son play, then about 15 minutes on actual therapy, and the last 10 minutes cleaning up and wrapping up the session. When I called to ask about it, the person I spoke with said it's because insurance only allows them to bill for 15 minutes of therapy. It's frustrating to pay so much when only about 15 minutes of the appointment is actual therapy time. Overall, we were not impressed and ultimately decided to pull our son out.

He has high sensory needs and severe speech and language delays. He loves the equipment and toys at this center for OT. Some speech sessions can be challenging because he's not motivated to talk, prefer to be under the table instead, etc. Our main Speech Therapist here is Ms. Vidya, she is fantastic! She has made so much progress with my son's speech. Chris and everyone here are very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. These sessions not only have helped my son but also helped me with being a better primary caregiver for my son. It's really just from observing what work or doesn't work with my son during sessions and by asking questions to Chris and his team. One of the things that these sessions help me with is having a better understanding of my son's physical needs and being a better problem solver. For example, I was able to practice certain things outside of sessions to help my son with like desensitizing loud sound from hair clipper/hand dryer, putting on his clothes independently, etc. Overall, we are so grateful to have MyKidsPlace in our son's life.

I am so grateful to have come in contact with Miss Alyssa. My son has made extensive progress with his speech and Miss Alyssa has such a great connection with children to keep them engaged, focused and excited about the lesson. She brought a bag of books and toys which she would switch out to keep our daughter interested. Even when my toddler was being difficult, she did her best to find an activity that she enjoyed while working on her speech. She openly addressed my concerns and gave me tools to help my daughter work on her speech outside of therapy. Our daughter went from sounding out one syllable words to speaking full sentences. At the end of our sessions, she was evaluated by the SLP for her school district and they determined she was meeting the age appropriate milestones and did not need further speech therapy. I highly recommend Alyssa if you are looking for an SLP!
