I met Dr. Pat in 1960 at the ripe old age of 16 months old, and continue to see him now at 66 years old.
I have never had a doctor with such compassion and competence. Always up to date on current treatments and research.
My Mom was ironing when the phone rang and she walked into the kitchen to answer, thinking she had pulled the door shut, I wandered in from where I was playing and pulled the cord on the iron which fell into my hand. Needless to say, Mom heard the scream and ran to get me. I was crying hysterically and Mom was frantic to get medical care for me.
We went immediately to Fonscenic Clinic on Homestead.
The nurse took us back to a treatment room and Dr. Pat came in with me screaming and crying and began speaking to me very softly and began debriding my hand. As he worked, he continued to speak gently and Mom said I stopped crying and just listened to Dr. Pat.
To this day, his quiet, gentle nature puts patients at ease and provides the best medical care available.
