She possesses a great balance between friendliness and seriousness (where needed). EHMG accepts most major insurance providers and they have a large, comfortable waiting room. Their staff is bilingual and can accommodate ellos que hablen espanol. The patient areas are always clean and organized. I have always been able to book appointments within 1-2 weeks notice. This clinic also offers an online patient service where you can view test results and communicate with your doctor on a non-emergency basis for general questions and requests. Parking lot is sufficient and I have never had any issues finding spots close to the entrance.

So, I opted to switch to a new doctor, and I'm glad I did. Dr. Cram is my new doctor, and she's efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Definitely a great combination. Best of all, the entire staff is efficient, and there's not a long wait like my last doctor (updated review coming). I was in and out in an hour, and that's from the time I walked in the door until I walked out. It only took that long because they ran some tests to make sure everything was okay. The office shares a space with an ob/gyn practice, so be prepared for the children running around and sometimes throwing tantrums. Not this practice's fault, but just putting that out there.

I rarely write reviews but I recently had a horrible experience with the front desk receptionist,…read moreso I was not surprised when I came on here saw the reviews this clinic has. The patient care given by the providers themselves is okay, but this was completely invalidated by the receptionist and she is the reason why I am switching over to a different clinic. After my visit, there was an error in the prescription refill for my child, so I called the front desk to request a new order to be put in. Upon calling, I am greeted with a '"what do you want" from the receptionist. Shocked, I reply with "good afternoon". She again says "what do you want?". I let her know my issue at the pharmacy and she said she is unable to do anything over the phone, I would have to return to the clinic again to solve the mistake that the prescription had. I ask for her name and she says Rebecca, which I doubt is true. I return again with my sick child to try to get his medication sorted out and to speak with the receptionist in person, like she said. I let her know I was the one she spoke on the phone with, and right away she turns to call the pharmacy and immediately gets the problem solved. Annoyed, I ask if there was even a need for me to go back to the clinic to ask her face-to-face when she could have called them in the first place. I asked to speak with the physician in the clinic. She became flustered and nervous. I tell her how rude and dismissive she has been not only with myself but with the other patients. After telling the physician my experience with "Rebecca" she very understanding and apologetic, but I am in shock as to how someone who works in healthcare, who is the first-person contact for children in need of care can be so rude and dismissive. Dr. Grace Hidalgo was not in clinic while I was there, but I will also be contacting MD Medical Group to let them know about my own experience and the dozens of others on here, all caused by their front desk receptionist. It is hard to believe how she is still employed and this speaks volumes on how much disregard Clinicas Mi Doctor have for their patients.

When I needed extra paperwork for a mail-in prescription, the staff helped me get it done and submitted. Would recommend to others!

Oh, wow. I'm in gyno heaven!…read more Okay, that was creepy. But seriously, after today's awesome appointment, I knew I had to Yelp her immediately (even though it is midnight and I'm seriously lacking in sleep). After my last debacle with obgyn doctors (ahem), I was more than excited to find a doctor that could get me (a new patient) an appointment within a week of calling. Whoa. Unheard of! The parking is no fun in this area, though I suppose I could've taken the light rail. The parking garage I chose started at $4 for the first half hour which hurt a little. I walked over, found the office easily (though the building really could use a map of some sort to ensure people choose the right tower). The staff was friendly and they got my paperwork done pretty quickly. They had a small waiting room with a tv playing a movie (Rumour Has It, if you're curious). I got there about fifteen minutes early for my 9:30 appointment, but wasn't seen until about 10:15. No biggie since I'm used to waiting much, much longer. When I was seen, the nurse was quick and efficient though not overly friendly. Again, no biggie since I know how many patients they process in a day. What really blew me away was that Dr. Whittier actually took the time to talk to me. Actually talk. And not just about my medical history. I'm not saying that we had a life changing heart to heart, but I we exchanged more words in my one meeting with her than I have with all my previous obgyn experiences put together. The exam was fast and easy and they do their pap smear results over the phone on an automated system (wait, is that too much info for Yelp?) which is fantastic. THEN as I'm leaving, I get a goodie bag. A goodie bag of free stuff! (It was very reminiscent of going to the orthodontist as a teenager.) She actually gave me three months worth of birth control for free! WHAT!?!??!?! Okay, I know it is strange to get excited about medication, but seriously, think about all the co-pays I just saved!!!!!! Yeah, I'm a nerd. But great bedside manner, close to work, AND free stuff?! I'm sold.
