We were just looking around when the owner literally started following us around. We told her we were "just browsing" and she had no reply. I began looking through the cork screws when she quote said "if you have anything you shouldn't, I suggest you put it back" obviously assuming we had stolen something. Of course, I went to go check out the Burn Your Tongue booth, which I've been meaning to canvas for a while and it runs the gamut from more well-know names to a lot of smaller sauce companies, so very good selection, as usual, covering pretty much all of the well-known pepper varietals out there. This is nowhere near the selection of the grand daddy location, which is the QB Ogden spot, but you would be hard pressed to find a better selection anywhere short of actual Salt Lake City proper itself. Very nice to have this kind of gamut finally hit Utah County and chile-curious should haul themselves over to it. The space is easy to find, it's due west of the registers...can't miss it.

The store is spacious, which makes it easier to browse, and there is a good assortment of yarns of various weights and fibers. I found the price of the yarn to be pretty reasonable. The back of the store also has a nice selection of things needed for crafting with yarn such as needles, hooks, buttons, and sewing needles. The employees at Heindselman's are always kind and excited to talk about yarn. I like to make a stop here whenever I have some free time in Provo.

They now have room in the back for large classes. (I'm thinking the Utah County spinning group could begin meeting there.) There's seating at the front of the store and the gathering table is without all the old clutter. These are big improvements that make coming to Heindselman's an enjoyment. I went on a Thursday evening and it was pretty steadily busy, so I would imagine that it would be packed on a Friday or Saturday. There were around 35-40 booths set up in a large warehouse room, which seemed like just the right amount for meandering around. Each vendor marked their items with their vendor code so you can make all your purchases at once at the end. The vendors had already set up their items and were not present at the event, which made for a low-stress shopping experience. I believe that they rotate through vendors each week so if you would like to see variety, you can go again on a different week and see some totally different items. You could buy anything from vintage clothing to dry shampoo, to embroidery to jewelry. My personal favorite vendor was Vintau, which sold gorgeous rocks and gemstones on stands and dreamcatchers at a super reasonable price. The people running the event stayed near the entrance/exit so they could hand out shopping baskets and check out customers. The lines were short, and they carefully wrapped up fragile items in tissue paper. Overall, it seemed very well planned and executed and was a very enjoyable way to spend an hour.
