I had the Tew Tom Yum. Basically Tum Yum Soup with noodles and a lot more proteins and toppings. Deep fried pork bacon bits, pickled peppers. Lime and bean sprouts. Everything goes well together. Disappointing We saw the good reviews in the Tampa Bay Times and wanted to give it a try--and to like it. Unfortunately, we tried it--and didn't. I'm sure these are nice people and the place has its champions, but it just wasn't for us. We started with the Thai Curry Puffs. The pastry was nice, but the contents were tame and oddly sweet. It needed more flavor. We moved on to the Tew Kai Cheek. Again, it was rather bland except for a slightly odd taste. We added some of the pepper juice, but it didn't make enough of a difference. I always get the Pad Thai on a first visit to a Thai restaurant. A good Pad Thai is a requirement. Once again, it was missing a lot of flavor. I ate about half and took the rest home to try to pump up the flavor with my home condiments. The restaurant is rather spartan. Prices are fair. The food just wasn't to our taste. read more

Patti's Kitchen is a new hole in the wall for delicious Thai food. I loved that I wasn't familiar with the items on the menu so I could try something I haven't had at other Thai restaurants. Ordered the grilled pork balls and curry puffs and both were equally delicious! The pork balls are paired with a sweet yet spicy dipping sauce and the combination of flavors is phenomenal. The curry puffs have a sweetness to them and paired with a cucumber salad which with its acidity helped cut through the heartiness of the curry puff. Now for the noodles I had the Tew Neua Toon soup which is essentially a beef soup with rice noodles and Chinese broccoli. I ordered it medium spicy and it was perfect (I love spicy food). The soup was a perfect choice for a cloudy day and the flavor was something I've never had before. The soup had fried garlic and pork cracklings that honestly added the cherry on top. My friend ordered the Tew Ped Toon soup (duck soup) and he expressed how delicious the broth was and how it truly tastes like duck and not something artificial. Also you do have the option to order your soup not spicy for those of you who prefer milder food, like my friend. You would think that after finishing two appetizers and a whole entree that it would be enough, but no we asked our waitress what they had for dessert. She happily told us that they had coconut cake. I was a little hesitant at first because I'm not a fan of the cake, but I'm so glad we decided to order it! It's not too sweet, the cake light and fluffy. The icing had fresh young coconut pieces on it and we definitely left a clean plate. Everything is delicious and I will be back to explore the rest of the menu! Came here on my lunch to come check this place out, I've always seen it but didn't know if it was open/the time schedule . Anyways I ordered a Thai tea because it's a must have , it could've used a bit more creamer but still delicious & the "Grilled Pork in Thai Style" set OMG it was so so good ! The rice was perfect , the E-San sauce was really tasty but the soup wasn't as good sadly I didn't finish it... The wait time wasn't to bad tbh max 15 or 20 mins for takeout.. Omg!!!!!! I love this place, not a lot to choose from compared to other Thai restaurants but the food they serve is so authentic that it's to die for!!!! We had 2 of their soups and a rice dish. It actually doesn't matter what soup or rice dishes we ordered, just go in with a hungry stomach and decide what you are craving for at that moment. You will not be disappointed. We recently moved to the area and have been looking for a good Thai restaurant. We found Patri's on Yelp and thought we would give it try. Now I know why everyone's reviews raved about this place. The food is made fresh, you can tell. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the both is delicious. I am kicking myself for not get the puffs which we will do next time. I have been wanting to try this place after reading a review about it's authentic Bangkok-style street noodles. I had to try them! The Ba Mee Doo Dang (sliced BBQ pork, yu choy (greens), fried garlic on egg noodles, normally broth-less, but you can get it with medium spicy broth. It was AH-MAZING! The pork was so flavorful and melt in your mouth and those noodles were fantastic. My friend ordered the Tew Tom Yum (ground pork and shrimp with rice noodles in a peanut based soup). She loved it and I tasted the broth. I'd be torn between the two dishes the next time I go there. read more

Absolutely loved this place. They have a small menu but every item packs a large flavor. The food is fresh and every item is made from scratch, so you can customize any plate including the sweetness of the noodles. Our second time here, the food is amazing. They put SO much love into their food. We got Keah Nam - the won tons are made from scratch, they melt in your mouth. The broth and greens and bbq pork are so delicious. We also got Tew Tom yum. Just as good, a little more filling, the flavors are so good with a hint of lime but sweet. Simple restaurant with fusion thai food. The noodle dishes are great with good portion. As bonus, you can choose your soup base. However, the thai curry puff must be from refrigerated. The outside (skin) is hot, but the center which is the curry paste is still cold. they need to work on the oven timing. Other than that, I am happy with the noodle. read more

Good food This is a really good spot to grab a meal. The food taste good and fresh, just don't come in a rush because it takes a long time for them to get your meal out to you. Didn't give them 5 because of three things 1) Although the food tasted good it was not like Wao, so just good but, extremely fresh. 2) It took forever to get my meal 32 minutes and this restaurant is very small it only have about 8 tables or so. 3) The service was decent but, the waitress pay way more attention and clean the tables for other Asian people and not for the only three table that were not Asian unless asked. I just wanted to say that even though they can improve in a few areas, I will come back if not in a rush. Good luck read more

Everyone's had Pho and Asian noodles before, but Patti's really does go a step above in regards to food quality. Everything is fresher, more tender, more expensive cuts of meat. Oh my God. INCREDIBLE! Truly authentic Thai food finally in Tampa Bay. So much attention to detail is put into the dishes. The prep work and quality of ingredients that go into them is amazing. It really shows how much the chef cares about his craft. The pepper flakes in the spices tray are even roasted on site and ground fresh for crying out loud...and it's just a mere condiment! Ka Prow = perfect! Legit Thai seasonings in all of their dishes. I prefer Thai curries w/rice, and non-broth based noodle dishes, so for me their menu is a little limited, but for those who like soup based dishes- you must give them a try! This place is a GEM! We have now eaten there 5 times, and I have been happy every single time! We have eaten inside a couple times, and they are such a small place we are almost always the only dine-in customers and we had excellent service, it's clean and the staff is wonderful. We've also ordered for pickups and everything is freshly made and ready quickly. I was not familiar with Thai food at all before trying this place, and I was worried about meals being too spicy for my taste. But they took time to explain the levels of spiciness to me, and I have loved every dish I've tried. I also think I'm addicted to their Thai Tea beverage which is absolutely delicious! Do not go to Patti's kitchen if you are Gluten Free. They will not serve you, nor make any effort to accommodate you, unlike almost every other Thai restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. I was very disappointed and spent almost an hour trying to be accommodated. It is very frustrating when your companion can order and no accommodation is made for your food allergy. GF soy sauce is readily available and almost all of their menu could be easily made GF without much effort. read more

I went to grab menus since we were waiting for awhile. It was fine to grab menu. When I grab it and ask if this was menu she just said Wait with out saying hi or anything. We were wait at the table. And ready to order she came to take order. I ordered noodle and ask if this is pork only or we can choose. Her face was really confused what I were asking about even I was speaking in Thai or she just being lazy to answer. We got our food. She came by to fill water. But never asked if food was ok? I don't know may be she was having a tiring day or doesn't like what she does. Food was good but definitely hire someone who like to do her job. I can tell by her smile already lol she wasn't have a sincere smile at all. She need to practice thai smile and improve her service mind.
