Do not go here..dont order from here. You don't necessarily get what you have ordered and then try to come to some sort of agreement , refund , discount or even replacing and they turn you down flat. After many attempts correspondences they stop replying. Disappointed. There are many other florists in southern Ontario if you don't want have issues. Hello! I recently sent flowers to a very good friend of mine who lives in Guelph. When the flowers were delivered, she called me and raved about them, then sent me a pic. Absolutely stunning! Such vibrant colours in a beautiful coloured glass vase. My friend was extremely pleased. Patti's did an awesome job. I am so happy I chose a nice, local Guelph florist for this occasion. I would highly recommend Patti's for any of your floral needs. And I can guarantee that both myself and the lady who got these lovelies will be using Patti's in the future. read more

Provided wilted flowers. They described them as 'beautiful'. They refused to replace the arrangement or refund their charge.

Found them online for a relatively last minute Mothers' day order during the COVID close-down. Frankly I just picked them because they seemed like a local business, in contrast to some others that seemed like larger chains. I worried about logistical problems, but it all went smoothly. We purchased a floral arrangement from this so called 'boutique' for a funeral we recently attended. Because we live outside of Guelph, we found this store online (it claims to be #1), and selected an arrangement we were all happy with. Upon calling the store to confirm the details of the purchase, we were assured that all the flowers that were displayed on the online image were in fact in season, and that the size listed (48"x48") would absolutely be to scale give or take a couple of inches, which I completely understand. It took us quite a while to locate the arrangement at the funeral home, and it wasn't until a friend pointed out the arrangement she noticed was from us, that our eyes fell on what could only be describes as a blatant lie. Not only were the flowers NOT as shown online, but the size difference was an absolute abomination. The widest part of the arrangement which consisted of stretched out palm branches, was maybe 35 inches...with a small portion in the center consisting of actual blooms. It was pretty, however falsely advertised at every turn. I contacted the company the following day and spoke with one of the girls who was very polite but gave excuse after excuse about why things had turned out that way. I asked to speak to the store manager and she assured me she would call me back. The manager who called back turned out to be Patti herself. I have worked in customer service for over 25 years, and have never come across someone that rude and relentless. She insisted that what I was saying was false, and that she had measured the arrangement herself and that it was only a few inches off. She gave even more excuses, and when I insisted I was telling the truth, she tells me that her entire staff is listening in on the conversation as she apparently had me on speaker phone all this time, and that they apparently agree with her. Thanks Patti...next time maybe some full disclosure about the lack of privacy in a conversation? Then she goes on about how she even added some 'extra' roses into the arrangement to be nice (is that why the arrangement looked so much smaller in real life?), and then claims that maybe the funeral director broke some of the leaves (he must have done a great job seeing as how the arrangement was actually quite symmetrical). My point is this: Don't trust the details provided on this site, and furthermore, if you do happen to ever make the same mistake we did, don't count on Patti to fix the problem once it happens. You can definitely count on some seriously aggressive attitude however, and also on the fact that she's already taken off with your money. In all fairness, I did manage to get a $30 refund on the $200 we spent, but we definitely didn't receive the one third back, on the one third size shortage of the flowers. The best part? Later on that night, my Mother calls me to tell me how apparently a close friend had just called Her complaining about THE EXACT SAME THING! With the EXACT SAME STORE! Who, believe it or not, apparently defended themselves in the EXACT SAME WAY! Right down to the 'I even put in some extra roses' line. Unfortunately the friend wasn't fortunate enough for a refund because apparently 'we never give refunds'....you just did Patti...earlier that day. Lies, lies, and more lies. Worst customer service and a complete lack of honesty and loyalty to paying customers. read more

Save yourself money and time and avoid this flower shop altogether. I chose this shop to do the flowers for my wedding, and it's my biggest regret in my wedding planning process. Flowers were falling apart by the time they reached me, they were also wilting and several looked quite dead. The bouquets were put together rather quickly with alot of the flowers squished together. Several flowers I chose we're also substituted for different flowers. I understand stock isn't always readily available, but if this is the case call your client and let them know. My bouquet was a complete disappointment to say the least. This may all seem trivial to some and normally I wouldn't complain, but when you pay for a product or service you expect to get what you paid for. It honestly looked like a 5 year old put my bouquet together. No thought, no quality and zero level of care. I really don't understand how this shop is still in business. If this is the norm for them, I really don't see this place being around for long. Maybe this was a fluke, and if that's the case they should have sent an apology along with the flowers with some explanation as to why they turned out the way they did. No call was ever made to me at any point to let me know they couldn't source a flower. Worst customer service ever! I contacted the shop myself several weeks before the wedding by email and was told everything was fine and that if they couldn't get the flowers arrangements would be made for a backup. No arrangements were made, they made an executive decision in choosing a substitute flower in MY bouquet, I'm the bride, shouldn't I have a say in my wedding flowers?? If I seem angry and mad, I am. Will never do business here again, and I will certainly never recommend them!!!! read more

I recently placed an online order with Patti's Flower Boutique for a small arrangement. Afterwards, I phoned the store and I was assured that it was received and would be delivered the next day. The day that the flowers should have been delivered (a Tuesday), the recipient informed me they had not be received. She phoned Patti's boutique and was met with a hostile attitude from the owner Patti herself. Patti was very aggressive and stated that the recipient was lying and "probably had in fact received the flowers and was lying to get free flowers." Patti was very defensive and had hung up several times on the intended recipient. I myself then called and explained that I had placed the order and was calling to inquire where the flowers were. Again Patti was very hostile, hung up on me several times, claimed that my order was "too insignificant to worry about as it barely cost anything" and that she would not refund my money or send out another floral arrangement. Later that evening the intended recipient located the floral arrangement at another house- meaning that they had in fact been delivered the previous day but to the wrong address. At this point they had been out in the sun for over 35 hours and the majority of the flowers had died. When she phoned, Patti refused to speak with her on the phone and instead the recipient spoke with an assistant who again accused her of lying, told her to "get a life, we have a business to run" and hung up again. While I can understand that mistakes happen- in that the flowers were delivered to the wrong address- the fact of the matter is that as a business owner you need to take responsibility for such mistakes. At no point in this entire experience did Patti take responsibility or even apologize for the mishap. Her unprofessional attitude is very disappointing and appalling, and I most certainly will never shop from her business again. read more

I called to enquire about ordering flowers for my mothers birthday. The person on the phone was unhelpful and became audibly impatient and frustrated with the questions I had. Instead, I called another flower shop who was very helpful and we both shared a laugh at how ridiculous the service was at Patti's flower shop. Think twice before buying! read more

The business owner was not very friendly nor helpful. She was impatient with me while I was trying to choose an arragement. The flowers received were unacceptable. They were not fresh, were wilted and browning. It was not good value for money. I am very disappointed with this service. I do not recommend this flower shop. read more

I received flowers from my husband for Valentine's Day and we are both so disappointed in what we received. He ordered 30 tulips asking for half and half of each colour. We received 10 of one colour and 20 of the other. Not only was the order wrong, 3 of them were broken and the others were droopy and not fresh looking at all. I emailed them to let them know and they emailed me back with our order form which didn't resolve anything, no apology, nothing. I emailed them back letting them know that the quality of flowers we got were not worth the money we had spent on them and haven't heard anything since. We honestly could have got the same flowers from the grocery store for a quarter of the price. I wouldn't recommend this florist. The flowers were not fresh, the quality was not there, and the customer service is terrible. Robinsons or sweet violets are both great options in Guelph! The grocery store is a better option than this place. We certainly will not be using pattis flowers again. read more

Incredibly disappointing experience. What was delivered was not what I paid for. I paid a lot of money for a dozen long stemmed roses. I paid extra money to have them sent with babies breath and greenery so that the arrangement would look full and beautiful. None of the greenery or babies breath was included. When I called to complain Patti's solution was that she would send the greenery by itself to the recipient TWO days after the roses were delivered. I presume the recipient was supposed to then create her own arrangement with two day old roses. Hardly reasonable considering I paid A LOT of money for these roses. Patti was very rude and accused me of being a bully and a "cyber bully" because I expressed dissatisfaction with the product and the customer service I received. This is a business and customer service should be their number one priority. I would never recommend this business. read more
