They delivered a lovely plant this morning and my parents we're thrilled. I really appreciate the effort they made to satisfy us. I ordered cut flowers today to be delivered. I chose Fascination Flowers because they were about 4 blocks from where I wanted to send them. I can't believe how terrible the bouquet was. Just awful. I wanted to spend $30.00 on flowers, but also had to pay $11.95 for delivery (of 4 blocks). So $47.40 with taxes. I've bought much better AND larger bouquets of flowers for that price at the grocery store! So disappointing.

Service (5/5) We found out about this flower shop from a friend who recommended me contact Ron. After calling the store about ordering flowers for our wedding we were set-up with an appointment with Ron. When we met with Ron at the shop we went over all the items we needed for our wedding and we showed him some photos of the colours and look we were going for. Our experience was a very personalized experience here. Unfortunately, they are not very responsive through e-mails and it is best to contact them in-person or by phone for more complex/large orders like ours. Value (5/5) We ordered my bride's bouquet ($150), three bridesmaids bouquets ($85 each), four boutineers ($10 each), and two corsages ($20 each) and a table top floral arrangement ($75) from them for around $700 tax and shipping included! Many of the other stores we were inquiring from were quoting us around $1000 for this so we saved around $300 from ordering from them in comparison so other wedding floral shops. Shipping was only $10 for each address and we got half the flowers shipped to the groom's house and half to the bride's house which worked great for putting on the boutineers and corsages for the parents. Quality (5/5) The flowers were all very nicely packaged in cardboard boxes and safely kept so not as to damage the flowers. The bountineers and corsages were shipped in a box and each of them were inside little clear plastic bags with water inside so keep them staying fresh for longer. The bouquets were very beautiful and full. Please see my photos attached because words won't do them justice!!

It's always one of those things, where you really need to have an open mind about reading reviews online when you don't know the businesses. I chose Kay's as they had a really nice selection of sympathy planters. I love flowers, but for sympathy occasions I do prefer planters. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful "The FTD® Peace & Serenity™ Dishgarden" that I had chosen. The plants and flowers looked so beautiful, and the quality of the basket was lovely! Flowers and planters are not cheap- but I am so pleased what they had delivered to my friend, and she was completely blown away also. Thank you Kay Penny Florists for a beautiful delivery! I would highly recommend them!

Ordering flowers sight unseen is always a leap of faith since you rarely know what the finished…read moreproduct will look like before delivery, or even after. In my case, we were picking up before closing time on the way to a memorial service so we'd only have a chance to see the finished product. When you provide a higher-end price point (above $150), you're hoping to eliminate the risk of having a small or underwhelming arrangement. Unfortunately, that was the case with the initial arrangement prepared for us. The good news is that a family member went to pick up the arrangement early and saw that it was not acceptable and requested it be redone. To their credit, Jean's flower shop worked with us to redo the arrangement and the final outcome of the team effort was a lovely arrangement suitable for the price point and occasion. Giving 3 stars because they accepted a last minute, same-day request and worked to redo the arrangement but I would have given 1 star for the initial product at the price we paid. Attaching pics of the original and final products. In the end, it worked out but I recommend seeing your order firsthand.

The second time was when a different friend lost her grandmother. We found this florist through other friends who lived nearby. Susie, the owner, was gracious, pleasant and kind. Her knowledge of flowers astounded us. Her suggestions stayed within our budget but the arrangements were abundant and elegant. She arranged for delivery as well. These things are always hard enough to arrange in the next municipality, let alone on the other side of the country. I've seen her website. Her shop looks gorgeous. She took the time to show us options via her online presence and even texted us photos of the final arrangements. I hope I get to visit the shop one day. She also offered to do a living arrangement for a funeral service so that our family could plant it after to remember our family member each time their birthday rolled around when the plant bloomed. The service is the best I have ever had from a floral designer. The options she offered were always within our budget and in line with our taste. While not as cheap as grabbing a bouquet from Costco, her arrangements and bouquets exude good taste. In one case, her arrangement looked like something from Downton Abbey it was so elegant and abundant. Susie knows which colours and flowers go together well. She suggested we stick with flowers that were in season to not go over budget. There was nothing frugal about the look of her creations. They looked very extravagant. For the person you deal with, the experience of choosing flowers and the final product, I wholeheartedly recommend Riverside Florists. They made long distance tributes an easy and pleasant experience with a final product that wowed both families.

Unlike other stores, I've seen workers confront anti-maskers and escort them from the store. The girls are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, happy to make arrangements and talk about the plants and flowers. The soil guys out back are very helpful and strong! Remember to tip them! I've seen some reviews about the owner, but they're very one sided. I've been to the greenhouse frequently and started gardening a lot. I've only ever seen the owner stick up for his employees when they're being belittled and berated. Again this is only a few instances, but I can only imagine that the people with 1 star reviews of this place are also the types of people who don't get their way and tell their version of what happened. With that out of the way, they have a fantastic inventory and honestly considerably cheaper than other greenhouses in the area. It's no wonder that there's always a lineup.
