Danny came to my house to repair the garage door. He seemed honest, really soft spoken and kind. He…read moresaid I'll only charge you for what's needed to be repaired. After fixing our door he suggested we get the springs changed because they're old and it'll eventually snap. He gave me 2 prices. One for basic and one for heavy duty. We were hesitant as it was expensive. He said let me call my boss and see if you can get a discount. Literally minutes later he said we can get a deal with the heavy duty. We moved forward with it. When he was done he said we should also get a new motor. He can give me a discount as well. At this point my husband was working and I said I'm not going to make big financial decisions without him. Later, my husband went to inspect the work and saw that the springs used were not heavy duty, they're color coded. He called and asked for the manufacture of the springs to confirm durability which they refused to disclose. He was then quickly offered a partial refund. Due to this experience my husband left a negative review. We originally chose this company because of the positive yelp reviews and felt we wanted people, like us, to be forewarned. Now they are calling us from multiple phone numbers, came to my house while my husband was at work, and left us a threatening voicemail if we do not call them back. Needless to say, as a woman with small children, I do not appreciate the unexpected visitor. This harassment has been going on for days. They threatened to come with the police and lawyers because they're not going to service us anymore. I don't understand as the service has been done and paid. We will no longer work with you in the future. We've already looked into calling our local police department if this harassment continues and have saved our call logs, Google doorbell camera videos, truck license plate number, and voicemails. If we need to, we will contact the BBB. Under the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CFRA) this form of retaliation is illegal for businesses to behave as such. It's a shame instead of learning from their review and doing better for their customers they choose harassments and threats.

Last time Joel added some support "struts" to the door and this time in a completely unrelated repair he replaced the door spring which breaks over time with age. I was lucky to catch Joel between jobs and he came out within 1-2 hours. We have security gates and had good communication with him on text to get him in. He is a super nice man and efficient worker. He finished the repair in about 15-25 minutes. I did not have enough cash on me to pay him the exact amount, so he told me to forget the relatively small difference because we are repeat customers who will call him again as need--that's how a good businessman does business. Hopefully our old door will last a while longer, but if it needs another repair or to be replaced, then we will definitely call Joel. If you need help with your garage door, we definitely recommend you give Joel a try.

Our garage door opener kicked the can and Eric did an awesome job consulting me through every option to save money first, until the only option was a total replacement. He and his associate were kind and efficient. They replaced, installed and did maintenance on my garage door all within 1 hour. It would have taken me days! The installation fee was exactly as quoted with no hidden fees. Truly the best value. There should be no hesitation working with Eric. I will continue to look to him for any future garage inconveniences.

He didn't try to push any services- just a simple and clear explanation. We booked him the next day/ and it was complete in 2 hours. He said, ' yes, if you want one spring changed only. it will be $550 to change both.' I was silent... giving him time to tell me that it is definitely not a good idea to change only one spring!
