I wanted to give 4 and a half stars but couldn't. This spot was a recommendation from a vendor, who took co-workers there for lunch. I called 2 days in advance to see if it was possible to get a table for 3 on a Saturday night for a 50th birthday dinner. I knew the chances were slim but I had to try. The girl who answered the phone (Amy), said they had seating on Friday night, Saturday was booked. So I took the reservation, not knowing much about the place. After reading reviews in different places, I had learned that they have a DJ on Friday nights. I was looking for a quieter type of dinner so I called back to inquire. The 2nd person (Evelyn) confirmed that they have a DJ that usually starts at 730pm on Friday nights. After a short chat, she changed my reservation to an earlier time so we could enjoy our meal without feeling like we're in the club! ;-) Both gals were patient and kind with our first timer questions. We arrived a little earlier than our reserved time (close to 6pm) and the parking lot had lots of open spaces. We parked and we were greeted by a nice woman who looked happy that we arrived early. We had planned to sit and wait, being that it was a Friday. But we were led to a table right away by a gentleman who looked to be a manager? He didn't say anything but we later saw him walking the room delegating, so to speak. Our 4 seater table was smack dab in the middle of a huge, high ceiling, open concept room that was filled with very long banquet tables. Each table was set for what looked like celebrations. There were a few other smaller tables. Parties were happening at some of the long tables and some of the smaller tables were filled with families that had kids. It was a bit loud but tolerable. We could hear one another speak just fine. Our waitress Alisha came over after a bit to greet us. She took drink orders as we explained it was out 1st time there and we were celebrating a 50th birthday. She was very busy handling one of the larger tables next to us, but we were never ignored. On the table was an open glass bottle of filtered water that was not very chilled. We poured ourselves and it was refilled without us asking by runners. Also on the table was seasoned olive oil for dipping bread. I didn't like that it was already there when we sat down, exposed to the air for who knows how long. But.....all was forgiven when the basket of warm bread came out. It was some of THE best table bread I have ever had. Alisha said it was their pizza dough. I could have eaten that all night and been satisfied. We had to stop ourselves! We each looked over the menu for a bit and ordered just entrees because of the bread! - One order of Ossobuco off the specials menu that came with paparadelle in a brown gravy like sauce. - One order of Filet of Sole Oreganata & Shrimp over sautéed spinach off the regular menu. (Both entrees came with a salad, choice of garden or caesar. The garden salad comes already mixed in their dressing. I ordered the dressing on the side. Good size, spring mix, very fresh). - The tweenager ordered mozzarella sticks appetizer as their dinner. It took a little bit for the food to come out but we were happy about that. We got to admire the greatness of the room. The huge photos on the wall, the birthday celebrations, the food coming and going (including massive amounts of take out orders). It was a well oiled machine and we enjoyed watching it all transpire. The birthday acknowledgement is a thing in itself. We had NO idea but it was all about to go down for us the same way after we ate! First a super loud speaker blasts a birthday song, then the other people dining in the restaurant stop what they're doing and start spinning their napkins in the air, while the wait staff brings over a dessert with a big flaming sparkler in it. How embarrassingly awesome! Which brings us to the dessert. A mint tartufo (Amazing). Also ordered to go, was a tiramisu (it was "ok"). No desserts made in house. By the time we got up to leave, the place was packed and the bar was full. As was the parking lot. Side note: due to Mother's Day being the week before, there was a schedule change and there was no DJ. Food = 4 stars. Piping hot and fresh but no wow factor with flavors. (Except for that bread!) Service = 5 stars Experience/Ambiance = 5 stars Points off for the parking lot being full of huge pot holes. I'm sure that could be fixed with the revenue being brought in. Water was warm-ish, apple juice was over iced and watered down, and bread dipping olive oil was out on the table before we sat down. We had no idea this was a chain of restaurants with other locations! All in all, we look forward to going back again and trying more food! read more

This place moves at a fast pace so I would recommend looking at the menu ahead of time! However regardless of what you order, it's going to be amazing. If it weren't for our waitress, Destiny, who single-handedly kept our party of 40 calm and together, I honestly don't think I would have left without paying. She was amazing. The food was good, but the service and management were unacceptable. We arrived at 3 PM for a party I booked back in May and didn't receive our entrees until 7 PM. The wait was so long that half of our guests had to leave before eating because they had long drives home. When we tried to speak with the manager, he was dismissive and more focused on his own family party than addressing our concerns. To top it off, as we were leaving, a male food runner pushed my female cousin into a table, and another family member had to catch her. Completely unacceptable. I will definitely have a party there could go there and have a drink at the bar or you can sit at the table with you and your partner or a group and have a party when I was there there was a big party there. Photographer was a nice touch and I would recommend for a fun night out. They had a DH Friday night and that was fun. All around, a great experience. We went with the prix fixe family style. I don't understand how a place like this can stay in business offering 7 appetizers, 3 entrees, and a flight of deserts with cappuccinos all for $65/person. Oh and did I mention the unlimited wine with that deal??? Me and my girlfriend try go there once a month and it includes a full size pizza, a full plate of Calamari, fresh delicious cheese, an amazing artichoke (something I wouldn't think I'd like) great bread with dipping oil, mozerella sticks and a few other apps. Their moneybag pasta is absolutely something else. I'd go there for that alone. The steak is perfectly cooked and delicious, and then on top of that the chicken scarpiello something again I probably never would have thought to order is incredible. It is so much food that we normally leave with 1-2 days of left overs to go. The service is top notch and the Saturday night singer is incredible. It is so well done and an amazing environment. Every dish I've had has been top notch. The owner is super friendly and you can tell he really cares about the food he serves and his customers. The valentines day special was a different menu and when we went it didn't include the wine, but our server talked to the owner and he threw it in for us. I cannot recommend this place more. The quality is tier 1 and considering all the food they bring out and the bottomless wine--the price is unbelievable. We easily get a $300 value for $130 and we keep going back because of how amazing it is. It is my favorite restaurant on Long Island and easily in my top 3 globally. Dinner was amazing. No one could ask for better service, ambiance or food. From the moment you walk in you feel at home. We were a party of 9 for Mother's Day. We were seated within minutes and the party began. Our server Alicia was impeccable. She attended to our every need even though the restaurant was packed. Alicia was there for drinks being replenished to making sure we received every item from the pre fixx menu. The food was outstanding!!!! Fresh, delicious and plentiful. No one missed a morsel because of too little during the family style service. Dessert was great. The best thing was the napkin flying when someone's birthday was celebrated. Patrizia's is truly an amazing dining experience packed with some fun as well. I have been there several times and each time has been excellent! To start, they have a nice bar at the front of the restaurant where you can sit and have a drink/ food as well. Amy the bartender is amazing. She handled the bar as a professional taking care of her customers, making drinks and with any food orders. She is very nice and personable. And she remembers you as well. Tonight we were a party of 4 and the bill with tip including alcohol was $260. This included 2 apps, 4 dinners and dessert for 1 with coffee. For starters, they bring plenty of bread to the table with a nice garlic and oil blend. We ordered the eggplant (napoleon?) layered with eggplant, mozzarella and grilled veggie. It was about 6" talk and loaded with flavor. We also ordered the grilled polpo which is out of this world. Tender with a nice crisp char flavor! For dinner, we ordered 2 chicken Francaise and 2 Veal Parmigiana with a side of pasta. All dinners were very nice portions and so delicious! Julie was our waitress who took very good care of us. When we sat at 5:30, we were one of the first tables there. When we left, the place was jamming with many parties and a lot of energy, which was awesome. They even have a DJ on the weekends. And when it's a birthday, the sparklers fire up, the music plays, everyone sings while waving their napkins. Italian on Long Island is so funny. Patrizia's is peppered all over the Island (and even in Brooklyn and Queens). I feel like this is a solid Italian spot where most people feel comfortable knowing they will get a good, generic Italian meal. And they are not wrong at all. This is my second time at one of their locations. The first experience I had was at the one in Sheepshead Bay years ago. Way before COVID too. I remember having a really nice time my first go around so I wasn't sure if 1) the food was going to be as decent as it was last time and 2) if there would be consistency between the locations, especially after all this time. I'm happy to say both concerns were were not needed as we really enjoyed ourselves. If you're coming here, come hungry. For the measly prices of $65 a person you get a TON of food, which is mostly served family style. We each got our own ball of burrata. This was one of SEVEN appetizers. Roll call please! Burrata, baked clams, fried calamari, a green salad, eggplant parm, fried artichokes, and pizza (both regular and Margherita style). Dinner: if that wasn't enough there is money bag pasta, skirt steak and chicken Scarpariello. Dessert came as platters of pastries including a Nutella stuffed puff pastry. I could eat those all day. And to wash all this down is unlimited house wine, sangria, house beer or soda. Sangria was weak but I'm not coming here to get plastered while watching the Babes so it's ok! Service was on the ball and with a large group like we were (we gathered for my friends birthday) they didn't miss a beat. I'm always impressed with places that maneuver around large families complete with a lot of kids. This was one of those places. Finally, you come here to celebrate because when there is a birthday or a milestone here, the whole room sings and waves their napkin. I am one that has never tried Patrizia's homestyle Italian cuisine until yesterday. I have learned that they have fifteen locations throughout the five boroughs, New Jersey, Long Island, Florida, and now the sunny island of Aruba. The restaurant dining area had a cafeteria style resemblance with many tables occupied by parties over ten people. The bar area was located near the entrance of the restaurant with limited seating. The restaurant is perfect for large group celebrations, with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. There's even prix fixe "Family Style Dinner" with appetizers, pasta, entrees, dessert, and coffee. That is a fabulous concept. I was there to celebrate a birthday with a large group. Our host chose the prefix family style dinner which was a great idea for a large group. We started with a platter of creamy mozzarella with a fresh green salad. Then baked clams, tortellini, and pizza. All delicious. When desserts and the birthday cake were presented to the table, the staff came out to music and sang happy birthday in a stylish matter. Good food in a big, open atmosphere! Large menu and they seem to actually have everything on it, except for some desert items. We were there on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy, but there were some big parties so we felt a little bit forgotten by our server (we were just a table of two). Whenever it's someone's birthday, a very loud song comes up and the whole place erupts in loud singing which can be really alarming if you're just having dinner with a friend! It was date night and my love wanted pasta. I've been to the other Patrizia's locations on Long Island...so I knew it was a good place to go. Bread and oil to start. My boyfriend actually said the seasoned oil was better than another Italian place that we frequent. The seasoned oil complimented the bread nicely. For an appetizer we decided on Vongolle Alla Positano, which was mediterranean clams, garlic, white wine. It was absolutely delish! A huge portion of baby clams with so much flavor. The garlic and wine sauce complimented the bread perfectly! It was a generous portion of clams. For my entree I got Orecchiette Abruzzese, but I subbed whole wheat pasta. It had broccoli rabe, sausage, garlic and oil. I love these flavors together! There was a $2 upcharge for the whole wheat pasta...which is fine. However I feel our sever should have informed us of the upcharge. My boyfriend ordered Fioretti Alla Boscaiola, which consisted of homemade money bags in a mushroom, prosciutto pink cream sauce. He enjoyed it. Both of our pastas came with house or Caesar salad. We both chose Caesar salad which was yummy. For dessert I got a cannoli and he got tiramisu. Both desserts were enjoyed. We had two different waitresses during our meal. One from the beginning to almost the end, and then one when we were almost done with our entrees through dessert. We're not sure what happened with our first waitress. Dinner was absolutely delish. So why 4 stars and not 5? Water took forever to be refilled and we had to ask our first waitress numerous times for a refill. She also asked if we wanted Parmesan cheese when our entrees came out. We told her yes, and she took forever to come back with it, thus making our food cold while we waited. We did eat some while waiting, but it's just not the same. It wasn't even fresh grated Parmesan...it was just Parmesan in a shaker. It shouldn't have taken her as long as it did to bring it out. She also should have informed us about the upcharge for the whole wheat pasta. read more

I go to the one in Hauppauge once a month for a nice plate of pasta. It's not fine dining and I really do not need it to be nor do they claim to be. The service is always awesome and the food is really good. The prices are very affordable and I love the atmosphere. The Chicken Parm with vodka sauce is just awesome. While in New York, it makes sense to eat some pizza. To be honest I was sick of the city and I just wanted to stay in and Netflix and wine with my friends so we ordered some delivery from Patrizia's. To pair with the wine we had at the house, we ordered their Antipasto Rustico ($19) that comes with their imported Italian meats, cheese and olives. There were three cheeses and three meats. Looking back at the photo and the menu description, sad that we didn't get the olives we expected. It was still a really nice charcuterie spread and it went very well with our wines. or the pizza we shared the Quattro Stagioni Pizza ($15). It came with tomato sauce, mozzarella, artichoke, olives, ham, and salami. The slices are huge, probably double the size I am used to. It was a nice thin crust. Avoid this place like a health code violation. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy. That changed quickly. Within an hour, it felt like we were dining inside a fire hazard--tables packed shoulder-to-shoulder, zero breathing room. If the fire marshal ever shows up, good luck. Dinner dragged on for nearly four hours. One full hour passed between our appetizers and main course. Drinks? 20+ minutes between rounds, and when they finally brought a beer pitcher, it was half foam. Thanks for the effort, I guess. I ordered rice balls, was told they only had "spaghetti balls," agreed to that--only to be served rice balls anyway. Wait what? The Alfredo sauce tasted soiled, and the pasta with clams was completely flavorless and inedible. They offered free coffee at the end, but no one was willing to waste another hour waiting for it. We had to fight to get the disgusting Alfredo taken off the bill, and to top it all off, the manager/hostess blamed us for this disaster! --saying we were "lucky" they took a same-day reservation. Right, because it's totally our fault your kitchen and service are an absolute disaster. I guess she was feed up dealing with multiple different parties complaining, If you enjoy spoiled food, slow service, and being treated like a burden for showing up, congratulations--you've found your spot. Went here after receiving a gift card . I had not been here since before COVID . It's a large dining room , a little industrial looking but it is casual. The hostess put us in a corner table next to the window which was perfect . The waiter came quickly , gave us menus and poured water. The bread came next, was a nice crust and warm. Waitress came back for our order. I think it's a choice between salad and pasta with your entrees. I got the salad. Next came the eggplant Parmesan which was very good. Portion was a little smaller than other Italian restaurants but price reflected that and perfect if you don't want to overeat . Spaghetti and meatballs were good and as ordered with sauce on the side. Waitress doesn't hover so getting the check took a little long but not really an issue. If your celebrating a special event and dont want to have it at home your first choice as an aternate venue is Patrizia's. We went Sunday night for a Birthday with 6 and a high chair. Our rezzy was waiting and we were seated right away. Din was high, with Birthday's all around with happy birthday music coming on every few minutes with cheers and waving napkins. We didnt exptect great food but were very pleased with what was served. Big open kitchen preparing great italian food served "HOT" to the table. Our appys were Kids Ravioli, which came out immediately, along with prerequisite baked Clams and fried calamari...Clams tasted good but were miniscule with just a nib of actual clam. Calamari was delish! For mains we had Chicken Parm...huge and tender, Shrimp Parm...excellent, New York Strip..large and tasty, Linguine Pescatore with squid ink pasta...delish! and Fioretti Boscaiola... Dishes were hot, prepared perfectly and served immediately when ready! Service, for such a crowded place was excellent! Reina was a terrible waitress. Inattentive, never brought lemons for our water as requested. Never replenished our water. Never asked if the food was ok. Never asked if we needed anything with our dinner. Calamari was like stale bubble gum. Tough, flavorless and super chewy. Lasagna was not hot (more like room temp). Restaurant charges a surcharge for using your credit card (you see the small sign on your way out posted on doors that aren't in use). If you're going to nickel and dime the customer, MAKE THE SIGN CLEARLY VISIBLE. Food was just ok. Should've listened to the Yelp reviews and not the Google reviews. Despite being only 2 miles away, we have never visited this location after living here for 8 years. And after last night, we regret we waited so long! We had family visiting from Florida and Tennessee who love good Italian food and we picked the right place. The place itself is very large and open and charming. There are photos of the other locations up around the restaurant. Our server was fantastic! Absolutely everything was delicious: calamari, baked clams, linguine with white clam sauce and chicken parmigiana, drinks and desserts. I couldn't even snap a photo because it was all devoured too fast. Best part was the birthday! The servers came over and sang, napkins twirled and the birthday song was played.
