I wanted to schedule an annual check up and they could not get me in 3 months after my birthday. Then I finally got one, then we went to the doctors they open at 8:30 for sick kids, so you think the door to get into the doctors office will open, so we get there we wait 5 minutes, then we knocked, no one opened the door, then 3 mins later we tried again nothing, i was going to miss my appointment so we called then them then one of the ladies came and opened it, then i waited they gave us the paper. And we did it then, this doctor with this dog shirt on came and got us kind of in a screamish voice, then something was not working and she had to make it longer. Then I was supposted to get my doctor but I got a different on. She was nice but not the normal, and my doctor was working so I don't know why I could not get her. And the shot did not go in so they had to do an other. I wanted to schedule an annual checkup, but they couldn't accommodate me for three months after my birthday. Great doctors- so friendly, great listeners and attentive. There is a person at the front desk who is beyond rude. I tried for a year to work with the receptionist and finally gave up. From getting firms filled out, scheduling routine appointments, to getting numbers of the specialist my children were referred to -each interaction was difficult and unpleasant. She always had a comment of why my request should not be happening. read more

Dr. Feldman is the baby whisperer! My little girl is such a cry baby except for when she's with Dr. Feldman. I really thought she was going to give him a run for his money but I was wrong. He helped me out tremendously when my little girl was so colicky. Those times are scary and you can feel so helpless you need a doctor who can provide you with helpful advice that actually works. I should also mention that I've seen his associates and they are also great. Tammy gives shots flawlessly I don't know how she does it. Lastly, this place is open 24/7! When I call no matter what time I always get a prompt response. I couldn't recommend a better place! read more

The front desk staff in this office is sadly lacking customer service skills. They are difficult to deal with and quite frankly downright rude. Sadly empathy and kindness to others is not a skill that can be taught to people. read more

My daughter has been going to Patriot Pediatrics for about 7 years.She has been seeing Dr. Hennessy and occasionally a nurse for her appts. They are wonderful, the reception not so much, they are always quick and rude. We have ignored that because my daughter liked her doctore so we have put up with it. Rcently, my daughter came home from college and went by herself for the first time for her annual exam. All seemed fine, except for the outrageous bill I received for urinalysis (peeing in a cup) testing her for diseases she doesn't have. $100 for each test, which we never got the results for. I think its time to move on, but wanted people to be aware of this practice... read more

Minor insurance snafu: we received bills from Quest Diagnostic about tests that were run on her at the doctor's office. I called the doctors office and they explained that the claim must have been submitted before our daughter was added to our insurance policy, which makes sense. What's annoying, though, is that they didn't want to call Quest Diagnostics to fix the problem. They said that they couldn't do that. Well, when I called Quest Diagnostics, I asked them if the doctor's office could have called and they said that they could have. I hate dealing with bills. My son has been going to Patriot Pediatrics for the last 14 years. We have always been happy with their service. ALL the medical personnel we have dealt with have been excellent. The people staffing the front desk are okay. To my fellow yelpers: keep in mind that secretaries probably don't make much $$. It's hard to hire and keep good ones. Anyway, I'd rather have my kid see an excellent doctor than an excellent secretary! read more

We have been going here for almost 2 1/2 years. Front desk is always pleasant. Dr Feldman is extremely professional and thorough. After hours service for concerned parents of little patients has always been great. Hours are convenient and walk in hours are especially great during the flu season. No major issues with service and plus the front desk has digitized their medical records system. read more

This is a truly wonderful practice. When I was pregnant with my first child (now 21), I visited several local pediatric practices, in search of one that would work for our new family. Everything about Patriot felt great--the fact that it's open 365 days a year, the fact that one of the doctors is always on call, and, most importantly, that the doctors and practitioners are truly dedicated to their patients and their families. Over the years, we've learned--time and again--how blessed we are to have the doctors and practitioners at Patriot on our family's healthcare team. Anyone who thinks a pediatric practice focuses primarily on babies and young children is simply incorrect. If anything, Patriot has become even more important to my kids as they've become adolescents and young adults. Dr. Hennessey is perhaps the kindest, most amazing doctor I've ever encountered, and Dr. Feldman is absolutely wonderful. Kim, the nurse manager is an angel. read more

I see complaints on problems with unexplained bills, unneeded procedures (also billed, of course) and Quest diagnostics from 2013 here. I am sorry to confirm that nothing has changed. We've been with Patriot Pediatrics for ten years; Quest diagnostics is a permanent issue. Once my girls grew and started to come alone, we immediately started to get bills for tests we did not ask for. One of my daughters sees specialists affiliated with MGH, all her tests are in the system, but Patriot Pediatrics is never aware of anything that is going on with her. When she comes to physicals, they would run same tests that she had a week earlier in MGH, and send them to Quest Diagnostics. In the last few months I tried to reach the office manager to discuss two bills (one from Q Diagnostics and one from the doctors themselves) . I left at least ten messages on her voice machine or with the front desk, and she never contacted me back. The front desk stuff reacts really weirdly when I ask for the office manager. It looks like they do not have one for a while now, and just lie to parents who want to talk to her. Meanwhile, I got a collection notice from Quest Diagnostics and had to pay their bill. I sent the other bill and a letter back to Patriot Pediatrics by registered mail, but they just kept sending a new bill every month, and totally ignored my letter. I see other people saying in their reviews that you'd put up with bad office management if the doctors are good. It is true to some extent, but bad management affects the healthcare. My daughter got an HPV vaccine and Patriot Pediatrics did not follow up with the second one. When I noticed and asked, I was told we missed the time window and now need two additional shots instead of one. I already mentioned that Patriot Pediatrics do not follow on anything done to their patients by other doctors, even in the same MGH system. Unfortunately, nowadays good doctors cannot do much good without good management. We are leaving this practice, and I have to call and ask for our medical records... I have been going to Patriot Pediatrics for 17 years. The doctors are great. Dr. Feldman is amazing as is Dr. Hennessey. The Nurse practitioners are also very good. The front office staff is awful. They are generally rude and condescending. They don't see it as their job to service their customers. Follow up is hodge podge. Don't bother going to the office to make an appointment or pick something up during their lunch break. They may see you but they won't acknowledge you. read more

We had been going to Patriot Pediatrics for a short time. My 4 year old is rarely ill so we only had to go to Dr. Hennesey for 2 physical exams. The first one was fine. The second one we waited over an hour to be seen. When we were finally seen (after 8pm at night) we spent a normal amount of time going over my daughter's health, received a vaccine, and went on our way. I received a call from the billing department stating that we owed $20 additional (now considered a sick visit?) for a statement I made at the physical appointment that my daughter no longer needed an over the counter powder for constipation, that she was better. WHAT??? You are turning my statement into a sick visit with a fee??? I told the lady how this was a mis-statement in the notes the Dr. took. I thought it was resolved. Now I received a bill that the $20 is being sent to collections, so do you know what I say? GOODBYE PATRIOT PEDIATRICS!!! I wait for over an hour to go over my daughter's overall health once a year and I am not allowed to say anything without being charged?? Learn how other Dr's operate, they don't do stuff like this!!! I am sorry if you don't know how to manage your time and others ran over their appointments but I am not paying for that. read more

Dr. Feldman has been our pediatrician for 6 years. We have seen all the doctors and nurse practitioners there and they are all excellent. My husband and I are both physicians. We would not go anywhere else. read more

We've used this practice for the past 13 years - they treat all 3 of our kids. From day one we have received excellent treatment in a caring manner. The practice is very user-friendly and accommodating to a family's needs. We especially appreciate the daily walk-in sick hours, a life-saver to working parents. The entire staff is efficient, friendly & highly competent. We have considered moving practices over the years, only because this location is now 20 minutes from our home, but the care our kids receive & peace of mind is worth the drive time. We wouldn't take our kids anywhere else. read more
