Small job, some sheetrock and blending, replace molding on floor…read more Sheetrock was a disaster, not blended at all and they chose the wrong finish paint and the entire job needs to be redone. They got paid a lot more than what they should have and it may cost us more to fix.

We bought a foreclosure 11 years ago. While we practically stole the house (still can't believe it…read morewas in our price range!) it's been a work in progress, restoring it while addressing unfinished work. Turns out the price we paid was fair. After re-roofing the house, we had enough savings left to put a bottom coat on the barely navigable dirt driveway, with the intention to put a top coat on when we'd saved more money. During that time we developed pot holes that became craters, the pieces of which ended up on our lawn when we plowed in the winter. While other paving companies acted like this was something they'd have to seriously upcharge for, Larry took it in stride. I liked him from the minute I met him, he's an old school guy, a dying breed. Larry came within 48 hours of my first call. He was knowledgeable, seemed genuine, and was a true pleasure to talk with. He's a no-BS kind of guy, and you can tell he's good at what he does because it is a *craft* for him. The price he gave us was more than fair, and we signed right away. Within weeks he showed up *as promised* (again, old school and unusual these days) and was communicative throughout. He is very particular when it comes to what is being done, and he was often there, directing his men, sending them back if he felt something wasn't to his standards. And the workers--so polite, friendly when I engaged them, telling me in front of him that they did some extra work at the top of the driveway to make the entrance more impressive. And when it came time for the bill? It was just as we agreed upon, with no surprises. Larry returned several days later to inspect the driveway himself--he didn't send a lackey, he was there making sure it was what HE felt was a job well done. That's an old school guy for you: STANDARDS. He already had his money, but he didn't forget about us. The driveway was completed at the end of May, five months ago, and it has worn well. I cannot recommend Larry and Sorenson Paving enough. Support local, small businesses with honest owners!!

I had quite a few quotes on replacing the driveway. Most of the contractors were mainly interested…read morein getting the square footage and off to the next quote without spending even a few minutes to discuss concerns I had with drainage. Not only was Johnston paving's quote reasonable...Scott took the time to discuss in detail, the drainage issue, and slight changes to the layout for easier access, additional parking, and improved curb appeal. The garage floor was also severely cracked and damaged. It proved very difficult to find anyone who would show up for a quote, let alone remove it for a reasonable price and timeline. Scott offered to remove it at a reasonable cost, and once we had a plan, we scheduled a start date. The crew was prompt and swift in removal and prep for asphalt. There was a few weeks delay in getting the garage concrete work done do to a month of rain, but once complete, the crew was back at it, and had the driveway looking fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. All the neighbors have commented on how nice the property looks now...and I owe it all to Scott and the crew of Johnston Paving!

About 3 years ago Scott Johnston repaved my small driveway and every time I clear it of leaves,…read moresnow, etc., I greatly appreciate the work he did. He personally graded and contoured the area with a small dozer to solve major runoff and drainage problems with a minimum amount of pitch in any direction. He replaced a very high, problematic entry berm put in by the town by smoothly contouring the area as an integral part of the driveway. He enlarged the driveway footprint on the fly to improve drainage and increase overall functionality at no additional cost, solved a problem with the garage/barn apron and avoided the need and cost for a police detail on a main road. He also put in a durable road-grade surface that I appreciated the first time extremely heavy trucks used driveway. His crew then did an excellent job of putting in a cobble stone border. The whole job noticeably improved the appearance of the property. I didn't know Scott before this work, but he is regarded as a real craftsman by his friends, and it is noticeable in the work he does. It was probably the best change made to the property for the money.

I couldn't recommend Done Right Roofing any more highly!! Anyone that is getting their roof…read morerepaired/replaced should absolutely contact them. Once my girlfriend and I decided it was time to replace our roof, we contact a few contractors to get estimates. From the very beginning Done Right Roofing (DRR), was totally focused on customer service. When we received the estimate, we also received several other PDF documents from them including references, color option information, a certificate from the BBB, client addresses where we could see the color options in person and more. The list of references wasn't just 10 or 20 names ... it was more like 400!! It's worth mentioning that DRR was also the least expensive estimate we received. I got a very nice follow up call from Jim to check in and ask if we'd made our decision. Of course we had and booked the date. Jim went over what we should expect and how we should prepare for the day. The crew and materials arrived at the time and they began work around 7:30am. The work went very fast! They finished our detached garage by 11am and the entire job was complete and cleaned up by 2:30pm. We couldn't believe how fast it all happened. There was a "walk around" after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied, which we definitely were and still are. The roof looks fantastic and we're completely satisfied with everything DRR did for us. As I mentioned in the beginning, we highly recommend them!!

Done Right Roofing recently replaced my entire roof and the experience couldn't have been better…read more John and his team are a well-oiled machine with a real focus on the customer. First impressions last and Done Right didn't disappoint ... they actually picked up the phone when I called! A stark contrast to the half dozen other vendors I called. This is a real contrast to their competitors. Within 24 hours the owner, John Mancini, was at my property to assess wind damage. Fast forward another 24 hours and John was working with my insurance agent to negotiate a complete roof replacement! The job was done in a timely manner with a very high level of quality. My yard wasn't destroyed; there weren't nails all over the place and the new roof looked spectacular! The only issue I had was with my DirecTV dish. During the replacement the dish was reinstalled and could no longer get a clear line of sight. After a series of issues with the provider and the placement of the dish due to nuances of my property I had to move on from the service. While this was certainly not Done Right's problem or responsibility they graciously came over, removed the dish and placed new shingles where the dish was to ensure a roof done right! I can't imagine many other roofing companies would do this. Kudos to the Done Right team! Lastly, my wife and I had a baby during our install and Done Right sent us a very nice card congratulating us. How thoughtful is that?! They say you'll forget what people say to you but you'll never forget how they made you feel. Rest assured we will never forget our experience with Done Right and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a roofing company. They are our roofing company moving forward and they should be yours as well.

Within days, the company was able to come out and evaluate our yard, give pricing estimations and recommendations on next steps, and scheduled services. When a last minute opening became available, the team reached out and were able to get the work done ahead of schedule. They completed complete de-weeding of 3 major areas of our yard IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS! I have no idea how they worked so efficiently. After the cleanup was completed, Savvas took me around to explain how we can now maintain this beautiful yard we have back and I feel empowered as a homeowner. His team was able to take a daunting task that seemed insurmountable and give me back a yard I'm proud of (that won't bite back)! I can't thank his team enough for giving my family peace of mind (and multiple weekends) back to enjoy in these last weeks of nice weather.
