A rather complicated and sad review. I am a senior citizen. My gas heating system needed…read morereplacement after a fire in my furnace. $20,000 and I replaced it. The very next day the second heating system I had in an addition failed. I was distraught!! Net Zero gave me a great quote..several thousands less than other HVAC. What they did not tell me that they were only electric heating contractors. So after paying $12,000.00 for installation I now pay an electric bill of $1000.00 a month in the winter. They walked by a brand new gas system in my home..disengaged a second gas heating 50 feet away and installed a unit that is costing me a thousand dollars a month. Not one of the employees ...installers. or project estimators...addressed what a poor and unkind decision this was. Now I have to redo my heating system...sell my house...unable to retire . Would they do the same to their mothers..grandmothers? This is a sad and sorry company. Yes I know I'm a stupid elderly woman with no recourse from people like this. I just hope this warns others to avoid this snake company.

This review is merely a confirmation that Net Zero continues to offer outstanding service. Fast. Friendly. Reliable. You may look over the reviews for Buss and think, "surely they paid these…read morepeople off to write such kind words on Buss' work and service, right?" And the answer would be no. Matt is actually, legitimately, professionally that good. A rare combination of quick service, friendly demeanor, and professional expertise in approaching plumbing and mechanical challenges. As anyone who's ever had to deal with complex mechanical or plumbing projects knows, there's always more than one way to approach a problem, and Matt's creative and thoughtful approach to these situations is a great way to ensure the work gets done well and within budget. I've used Matt for both servicing of heat pumps and installation of whole house water filters and all situations Matt's been fast, effective, and reasonable on pricing. Compare that other larger providers with longer turnaround times and a litany of subcontractors feeding their over-capitalized organizations where you can't actually interact with another human being without a corporate iPad price quote for services you don't need and a markup, you don't want to pay intrinsically involved. Here's a professional who's legitimately interested in understanding the project and doing the work well.

Matt was quick and professional and gave me a good recommendation on replacing our water heater with a trusted brand along with a reasonable price. He came through the next day and was did a great job in putting in the new unit. Their work comes with an one year warranty and the product has a lifetime warranty so we don't have to worry again for at least some time. Flexible, responsive, professional, and reliable. My dad is fully satisfied.

Ryan was great, tried to keep my carpets/bathroom clean as much as possible and was patient in discussing my options and answering my questions. Surprisingly was able to get an appointment for install on Monday. Jared was also great. Definitely appreciate the small details and concerns to keep the carpet clean like hand carrying both the old and new water heater up 2 flights of stairs. Between the quick response/scheduling time, clean workmanship, and fine attention to detail, happy to say the leaking water heater experience felt less chaotic with 128's help! Total turnaround time, Friday 11pm to Monday 4pm hot water up and running!!

I called 128 Plumbing about one cracked drain pipe. I was told my entire house needed to be…read morerepiped. The estimate (#435094323) was $30,275 to demo every wall and ceiling necessary, disconnect first- and second-floor bathrooms, toilets and sinks, and replace the main stack. That was presented to me as the only option -- no alternatives, no phasing, nothing. And it did not include the roughly $6,000 I'd need to close the walls back up and reinstall fixtures, or the ~$400 roofer I'd have to hire and coordinate myself. Their own estimate puts the hole repair on the customer in writing. All in: nearly $37,000. Meanwhile my first-floor tenant was told she couldn't use her bathroom or her kitchen. When I hesitated at the number, I was told that at least if I sold the house I'd "have retail value." That's the line that made me stop and get a second opinion. Thompson Plumbing came out, found the actual leak -- old hubbed cast iron serving the kitchen -- and repiped it. $2,995. My final invoice was $3,420, and that included an unrelated frost-free silcock I added on. My toilet was fine. My kitchen sink was fine. My tenant's kitchen and bathroom were fine. Not one wall was demoed. Same house. Same leak. Ten percent of the price. I'm not going to speculate about why the two assessments were so far apart. I'll just say this: if 128 Plumbing tells you your house needs a $30,000 repipe, get a second quote before you sign anything. I nearly didn't, and it would have cost me thirty-three thousand dollars I did not need to spend.
