It's in a cute building about 3 minutes away from my house, which is a bonus! The inside is really old and not updated, but at the end of the day all I care about is the care I receive, not how trendy the office is. The wait was typical for a doctor's office, not quick but certainly not the longest I've waited. I saw Dr. Daly's PA because Dr. Daly is not taking new patients. The PA is great, she was so friendly and helpful and spent time with me. They do bloodwork in the office, which is a huge bonus! I hate having to take time off of work two separate times to get bloodwork done at Quest. I received a prompt call with my results and she remembered the concerns I had. I have been seeing Dr. Daly since graduating from college around 1995. He is caring, compassionate and easy to relate to. I have seen other doctors when insurance changed a couple of times but always have been able to keep him in my care continuum. His Internal Medicine specialties in many areas have helped me and the community for many years. Dr. Daly is great Dr. no doubt. As you know seeing the Dr. isn't the whole experience though. Dr. Daly has friendly and competent staff working with him and that helps makes a visit to the Doctors office more bearable. Dr. Daly's office has a small town warmer feel than that of the Big Commercialized Conglomerate medical offices I have dealt with. I have been a patient of Dr. Daly for many years, over the past 2 years it's been ery difficult getting my Prescriptions refilled, the pharmacy would have to Fax several time or I would have to actually call....Many times i was told it was the fiber optics ???? but when I call and complain they fax and the pharmacy gets them?? i was at the pharmacy today and they have the phone records and it shows multiple faxs and even calls on most I went in a few months back for normal labs and checkup...found out they were now Methodist Uptown Medical Clinic....Dr. Daly head Dr. he had sold his practice to the Methodist Medical franchise, I was told they would set up appts. for a mammogram, and other test for a lump in my chest (breast) I'm a male...and that I would need to go see a pulmonologist For my COPD...I asked when did I get COPD??? never been treated for it? I questioned it several times....A few days later I get a call to set up my appt. with the pulmonologist....i refused ....called the office and said i was not going to pay to put money in my Dr.s pocket by going to appointments I felt were not needed. Send me anywhere but a Methodist medical center imaging center and i would go. Allen told me to call and make my own appointments and hung up on me. I was trying to get a prescription refilled and called the office to find out that I am no longer a patient there i ask whey and was told for too many missed appointments? I have never missed an appointment...NEVER. I refused the last ones. I have asked foe 2 months now for my last lab reports and been refused them, have called multiple times a week and had others call and we ge the run around I have asked for in writing when i was diagnosed with OCPD, Why My medical records were sent to a clinic at Presbyterian hospital and I have never been a patient there, there a government funded clinic. they will give me no information on this clinic. I was at an appointment and i remember very clearly...Dr. Daily comes in as normal, starts talking and slides forms (HIPPA release) over to me and says....If this practice is to survive we need to make some changes...I thought that was rather odd. Every time I asked about this clinic I got blown off and was only told I would never have to go there, all my labs and checkups would be done at Dr. Daly's office. I later asked for my information to be removed but I have no Idea if or when they were. I want to KNOW!!! The office manager has lied to me so many times the last 2 months and i still have no information or copies of my labs. Yesterday I contacted Methodist Medical Ctrs Patient advocate and was told he would call right then and get me information and get right back to me....I have called multiple times today left message after message for him with no reply. Are they stalling to find ways to cover all this up. Start wit RXCrossroads and ask for the phone records and notes on the issues they had trying to get prescription information...we had several discussions about the problems with Lapeta not getting any information to them that they requested....There's something seriously wrong here and I am consulting and attorney...they cannot with hold my medical lab reports, the pharmacy, RxCrossroads and Blue Cross Blue Shield says it's Illegal, yet they say they cannot access my records from their computers....how does Dr. Daly treat patients.....Blindly???? he pulls up their records right in front of him...but they cannot access mine? Is there a problem with this? No Dr. form the office have called me spoken to me about this issue. I can not get into another Dr. until late January or February, I am out of medications i need and have been dropped as a patient but they cant provide a copy of the Registered Letter that a Dr. has to send out to drop you as a patient. They should have a receipt for that registered letter but can't provide it a date of the letter, Nothing!!! but also cannot refill my prescriptions until i do get it. Unethical for a Dr. to do that. and to allow his Staff to treat and lie out right to a patient. I will take a polygraph at my expense to prove that everything i say is true. I am sick and tired of being lied to by someone that I entrusted my health to for so many years....I was told by Dr. Daly many time he wished all his patients put as much into their health as I did....I complain abut thigs and now I'm the worst patient and dropped. I want the truth....All I can say is that i truly hope that Dr. Daly does not know what actually is happening in his office....I was telling a friend of mine all about this at Starbuck and a man over hears us and comes over and said he was a patient of Dr. Daily and that he left for the same reasons and I know of 2 other people that are willing to say they are and have gone through the same thing with the office. I'm completely confused. I've been going to Dr. Daly for several years and have been very pleased with him. During the pandemic, several months ago, he even set up a remote appointment to help me with an issue I was having. Now, today, I called to find out if he was seeing patients in person yet, and an operator answered the phone with the names of two doctors I'd never heard of, but NOT Dr. Daly's name. I asked what was going on; the operator didn't even know who Dr. Daly was and couldn't find any reference to him. I know his practice joined Methodist a while back, and I remember being worried that his office might lose the warm, personal feel that I appreciated. Apparently that's what has happened. In the last few months I've had terrible experiences with not being able to get prescriptions re-authorized, with staff not returning calls, etc. - and now this. If Dr. Daly has retired, or moved elsewhere, I would think he would at least have let patients know and not just leave them in the lurch. I've been having some concerning symptoms in the last few days and have no idea where to turn. Before all this Dr. Daly had my trust and good will; but now, with him seemingly abandoning his patients, I feel betrayed. Even if I were to locate him now, I would never go back. Sad. read more

Adequate for routine care and yearly physicals. Nice nurse and staff. Less knowledgeable for more complicated care. After three bad experiences there I changed to a better and more supportive doctor who was able to greatly improve my health & quality of life. read more

This doctor sees trans patients and he's pretty much getting black listed as an "absolutely do not see" doctor in our community. Daly flat out raised his voice, got face to face and YELLED at a younger friend of mine (I think he said he was 19 or 20 when this happened) for not bringing a letter of recommendation for hormones (after his office told him he wouldn't need one). After breaking down into tears, Daly told him he was "clearly too emotionally unstable" and refused to treat him or help him (FYI, most of us become mentally stable on hormones because that's what some of us *need* in order to be stable people - but that's a rant for another day) But let's get on to my experience, why I just canceled my last appointment and why I won't be going back. I was slut shamed for asking about pregnancy risks. Both by Daly and his staff. I asked how I might tell if I am pregnant or not since I no longer have periods, said another doctor suggested a pregnancy test every two weeks. Daly's response was "you're not having THAT much sex, are you?" And when I asked how likely it is for me to even become pregnant, he just shrugged and repeated "use a condom" as many times as he could. Both Daly and his staff asked completely inappropriate and irrelevant questions about my sexuality and sex life - I wasted my time and money asking for help. I was touched inappropriately without consent by the staff. My boyfriend was touched inappropriately by Daly during a visit. One staff member came to me every visit, gave me a motivational speech about how it will get better as the hormones kick in, and touched my face without permission and commented on my facial hair and voice change EVERY. TIME. I WENT. Daly did the same thing. I've been on hormones for two and a half years. My voice change and facial hair are nothing new, and Daly ought to especially know this. Both him and his staff should know how wrong it is to touch any patient without consent - especially when dealing with patients who may have severe body dysphoria or PTSD from sexual assault. I had to basically fight him to get tests done. I was at high risk for mono. I had come down with all of the symptoms with the right timing for mono. All he had to say was "it's probably not mono" and it took what felt like an hour to convince him to just give me a blood test so I could be sure. Same thing with all hepatitis (hepitidi? Is that the correct... plural?) I was put on anti-depressants during one of his "depression screenings" that have now made me incredibly sick (and broke, because I have been too sick to work). I was not able to go to appointments alone because Daly had a completely different, and frankly scary demeanor while in a room alone with me. When I complained of dry mouth from the anti-depressants he told me that there is "nothing we can do about that" (FYI, there is a lot of stuff - including prescriptions, that will help with dry mouth) I've got more to say but this is already pretty lengthy. Honestly I'm shocked he's not being sued for malpractice after some of what I've heard from other patients. Kudos to Alan, the staff member who helped me canceled my appointment. He actually listened and apologized. Hard truths... Fact is, some doctors practice medicine and some just run a business. Schedule at your own risk.
